when i finally got to sign on today and read 7 pages of what seemed to start at great and positive news that i tried to present to all, and "keep" kinda turned it from positve articles to just one, blowing off all the many many other positive articles, reducing it to a topic of a few level headed folks and supporters into a smart alec lopster thread, thus throwing out any of the good news because of one article was all that could be seen by "keep" makeing my post not any thing like it was intended to be or any thing i wanted to show , i dont believe in a lop, ill never believe in a lop, and the currency we hold as investors will not be the same conclusion as for what iraqis hold, this is about them an there currency its about takein the 000 notes out of iraq, this isnt about what we hold, they have to remove the 000 from iraq, this is the only way they can bring down the supply in circulation, otherwise iraq wont stop useing usd they will continue unless iraq will at least match the usd rate, iraqis will not stop, theve lost faith in the dinar, they know what the usd will buy, they do not like carrying around suitcases full to buy a coke, they like usein usd because they can buy 20.00 worth for 20.00 of product, where as buying 20.00 worth of product useing dinar they have to carry around a huge amount so they dont wanna use dinar, so how will a lop help iraq? how will international companys take iraq serious with oiut at least a 1 to 1 rate with the usd, how can the iraqi stock exchange be any thing other than just a penny stock @ 1170? how will they be able to produce the biggest budget in arabic history for 2012 at 1170? how could the currency support that budget and all the contracts? how according to them by removing the 000 could it possibly give the people greater purchasing power how will a lop do that for them? how will it make there life better? how would a lop make them stop useing usd? how could they even think about going international an be a huge part of the forexes at a lop? how or why would the rest of the world take the 3rds richest country in the world serious with a lop? how could any countrys central banks reserves want to include the iqd at a lop as part of there reserves as iraq wants them to do do they have miles an miles of space to put a bunch of lopped currency into it to store it? how would lopping the iqd make the iqd the strongest currency in the middle east? ask yourself all of these questions "keep" and then while your at it try to smother this thread with a bunch of crap and make it all about you and your kind of compliments which arent really now are they and bash others who try to show u reality, in fact while your at it try to destroy this article too.............................Dinar is equal to the dollar! This is not a rumor. I have been in touch with my WF branch manager for months regarding the RV. Every time his response was "I've heard nothing yet". This morning I went to WF to cash a check the branch manager called me over to tell me that they have been allerted to "get ready" for the revaluation of multiple currencies. I reminded him to call me when it happens and he replied that I was to be his first call. BTW, the manager and both loan officers are Dinarians..... I wonder how many hours after the RV before they quit and go off to a better life... Come on RV

well ty i think for the most part, but u have to realise takein the zeros away is the only way we are gonna ever see this rv, they will not rv there currency with the 000 still attached to it, thats just never gonna happen, every one is intitled to there opinon as u and i both are, and these articles and my opinons are attached to them, thats just the way it is, so ill keep on posting what i think is a positive for us and i do feel like all these are sure positives, sometimes the translations are lost in some of these articles but the majority of the time i have it goin on when deciphering what the articles mean, and until the rv happens and we know then for sure, ill keep on posting them....thx again....BL

The thread that you started yesterday got out of hand real quick after I just wanted you to explain your reasoning as to why you think deleting the zeros is what we want. Again, let me state that I do appreciate your work and what you try to bring to dinar land and Im sorry if I came off a little rude to you. But seriously, can you explain to me why you feel so sure that we want them to delete the zeros because there is A LOT of confusion as to what it actually means and I along with many others are able to put the pieces together as to what they are truely saying from the countless articles that have come out, and the descriptions of this plan. Im not trying to discredit you or make you feel bad or anything, I just think we should clear this up because I would rather see your good credibility stand where it is and not wither away for being grouped with some of the other nutjobs that dont even understand what they are reading and talking about. I think you are spot on most of the time, but this one topic that you present does add confusion and I think is a bit misleading to the masses..... KeepM You really need to maintain open-minded. First, we would all be "naive" to think that the media would try to make it appear as if the Delete the Zeros, Lift the Zeros, or Remove the Zeros leads to a straigh-up R/V. It is actually the contrary, what the media is likely being pressured to do is make it appear as if the upcoming event is "value-neutral." It is the best line of defense for their currency. Why? Suppresses speculators from purchasing the currency with the idea it'll appreciate quickly and as fast as a substantial overnight R/V. Suppresses locals from deciding to avoid IQD as it may lose value. Long-story short, it'll help stabilize the economy or help maintain stabilization. So you ask why we should be excited about the removal of the 3 zero articles. Simply put, some of us do not have the slightest idea of how this will go down. R/V, R/D, a R/D with a rate adjustment (Hybrid), long-term scenario of slow appreciation, or other possibilities. The 3 zero articles indicate that the ride is almost over. Well here we go again. Another Parliamentary recess. The 60 day Hajj pilgrimage that all financially and able bodied Muslims are required to take once in their lives. This year there will be 70 members of Parliament making that pilgrimage.Parliament has shortened it to 40 days for Parliament members so they can catch up on unfinished bills. Every time I think that the ride is coming to an end I look out in front and see people laying more track. It's getting harder and harder to have faith in these people. There has been alot of talk on here recently about if the IQD will ever revalue. Then there have been some members asking how we decided to or what made us purchase them. This is a moot point as I see it because IMO , the person that is asking these questions is looking for some feel good sesponse to make him feel better about going overboard on spending. Sure the reccesion has hit the country hard and I am one to go as far to say that we are in a Deppresion. I am 58 years old and can never remember a reccesion as bad as this. I am sure that alot of others that agree with me. This Deppresion as I will call it has been in the making since 9-11. People lost faith in the economy and held back on spending and were nervous about everything. Then the Government came in and opened their purse strings to get us to spend and start to feel good again. The economy was running like a rocket ship and everyone was flush with cash or should I say credit cards, remember those days? It wasn't till late 2004 that I discovered was this country was heading for cliff after moving to Las Vegas, NV. I moved at a time when 5,000 people a moved were moving there. In Jan of 2005 I bought a home for $335,000 after listening to the hype of the sales person as it was in the NW part of Vegas. At this time in Vegas there was new home construction going on all around the whole perimiter of the city. New roads were going in along with new parks for all the families. New businesses were sprining up everyday so fast no one could keep up with the new places to shop.. Schools, fire stations, police sub stations were being built and when more money was need for the schools, a bond was put up for roughly One Billion dollars to build more. Also at the same time more people were coming to Vegas to gamble and Vacation, plus the convetion trade was a very big part of the local economy. The city skyline was changing so fast it was like wacthing a movie in fast motion to see old buildings fall and new casinos and condos going up. There was also local casinos being built to take the local family mans money. Everything seemed fat sassy and happy for several years. I even commented to people numerous times as to how Las Vegas and the US as a whole could keep propelling forward as fast as it seemed to be going. For those of you that live in quieter parts of the country, you may not be able to grasps everything that I have said and may even say I am talking out of my hat. IMO I would have to say that during that good years to follow after 2003 that many of you were feeling good about things that you may have went and purchased more dinar than you could afford even though you could well handle the exspense back then. The wild claims from the pumpers may you feel that wealth would soon be on to your way. Let me get back to Vegas. I had only been there just 2 years and I decided that it was to hot for me to contiue living there. I decided to move back to upstate New York where instead of living in the house in the summer time I could justify living in it during the winter. Well I went to good ole Bank of America and decided that I was going to take out a line of credit loan to help me along. Hey, times were great right!!!!!? I felt that I could rent the house and and I could get out of it in a couple of years. In the short time I had the house my banker at BOA appraised the home 25% higher than what I paid or $400,000. Hell the guy at the bank even begged me to take more money than what I wanted. He is in hot water over that.In April 2007 I went back to NY and a short time later I had trouble keeping tennants in the house. I couldn't figure out why till late 2008 when the S**t hit the fan. The house of cards started falling down in Vegas, people were losing their jobs and as 2009 went on I was upside down on my mortgage. I couldn't get anyone to rent to pay for all the exspense I had every month. I decided to walk away from my house and let the bank take it back. As for the line of credit it is in the lawyers hands and my banker buddy has a lot of explaining to do. I took a hit on my credit report, but I will be fine and a year or so. So when I hear about those of you on here that want to sell your Dinars, I have to say, I am sorry for what you are going through. I bought my Dinar after the bottom fell out and then only spent what I can only afford. The Dinar will RV. I first learned of the Dinar from the News Max magazine after seeing an ad. One I researched this out for 2 weeks only then did I buy a bundle. I even predicted the that it may not RV till sometime mid 2012 to 2013. If I should die before it happens I have willed it all to my kids. Everyone is going through some though time now,but here is something I hope you all don't bash me for. The "Deletion of the 3 Zeroes" can mean one of three things. 1) Remove the 000 off of the notes (LOP). Ex: 25,000 IQD Note becomes 25IQD Note 2) Remove 000 off the exchange rate. Ex: 1USD = 0.00085IQD becomes 1USD = 0.85IQD 3) Removing (physically) the 000 notes from circulation. Ex: Daily auctions bring 200 billion IQD into the CBI; the CBI then destroys these notes effectively removing them from circulation and from the money supply. For all intents and purposes every announcement from the CBI seems to point to them doing #1 on the list quickly followed by a 3:1 Re-Valuation. This is a RD/RV. BAD for us. However as I have pointed out in the past, #3 has been going on right in front of our faces for many years now. IF, and that is a BIG 'if', the CBI is in fact actually doing #3 and removing these 000 notes from circulation, then their money supply is shrinking each day and would position us for a FAT Re-Valuation. Now the money supply figures that are being put out there do not suggest that the CBI is actually shrinking the money supply via the auctions, but who really knows what's going on behind the scenes? If they actually were doing #3 with the purpose of a straight RV, would they blatantly tell us in the media? I have been noticing that you have been writing mature posts. I even began reading them again, and I was enjoying Keep in big boy pants, but it seems you may have made a little poo poo in them.

Me asking her how or why she comes to the conclusions she gets is hurting her credibility?? Im just asking questions.....if you dont ask questions, you never learn.... Like I mentioned, I like to read her posts every now and then and they are good for the most part....I just dont see how she gets deleting the zeros as a good thing.....and then she mentions that they cannot RV without deleting the zeros which would mean that she believes it wont RV the way we want to as well....just want some clarification because her and kap promote this delete the zeros as meaning a straight up RV when its the exact opposite.... You and me both buddy!! I hope Im wrong and I hope we are all pleasantly surprised!! Just cant ignore the facts they present to us....

Why give a negative when Keepm is just giving his opinion and some of you even asked is this good? or bad? What does this mean? etc. . . But when someone tells you what they think, you give a negative. Just a thought. This is a place for thoughts & opinions. +1 Keepm

sorry it took me so long to respond to this post, with working out of town, and my hometown brewers winning it has been a great dinar free weekend. i feel they will flat out rv, an rd does them no good at this point, what most seem to forget is they will have to rd, its called smaller notes, which they will need with a higher value of there dinar. if they rd first (which is very unlikely) the locals still will have no purchasing power, investors wont come and invest, it sets the private sector project back 10 years, and it doesnt put confidence in to the dinar or local economy. with iraq buying back an alarming number of dinars,and selling usd, kinda tells you what there going do (suck in the more powerful currency, and after rv there currency will be stronger, and have more potential). imo, and only my opinion, we shall see some movement quickly, i feel the rate will be close to the us dollar, and since all oil is payed in usd it makes a lot of sense. see what most the real uninformed, real negative people on this site seem to forget is rd'ing is a very simple process and something iraq would of done 4-5 years ago, not now, its rv'ing and its pretty obvious. i want to thank all the people who answered on my behalf.
