I must be crazy for posting this, after what happened to me last time. But the 98% of you that supported me, joined my website, facebook, and became friends, deserve it! This is a call with John, (works for securities-currency trading). Yes it is actual, yes it is recorded, yes he is aware. It starts a few seconds in to the call(obviously I didn't record til I knew it was him) I ask the knuckleheads to please refrain from any non sense, I suffered extreme consequences from sharing with you last time. I have since removed all my info, but please remember that is what we are here for. We need to share reliable info, and try to help each other determine where we are. John~ "You there?" And also remember, my speculation isn't much more than yours, just alot more educated, and privy to alot more info. Without understanding all the pieces of the puzzle, and the organizations, and the politics of the currency, it would be hard to explain. I can tell you this, most people are confused about who makes this whole thing happen. Most people also have no clue on the time frame, and what really needs to occur for this to unfold. I think you, as well as many others that I come across are waiting on things to happen, that ultimately have no effect on the RV, or at least the fact of an RV happening immediately after, as a result. All the nonsense you hear everyday about those a**holes fighting everyday, and can't figure out a resolution, or do the damn budget, or the readings, that's just Iraq. That's just what they do. Those guys couldn't throw a damn birthday party on time. But see, all that s*it has nothing to do with the overall finality of the currency. Those guys will always be their own worst enemy, that's just do to a long history of disorganization, distrust, and greed. But trust me little buddy, Iraq isn't driving the RV train! They might be sitting in the engineer's seat, but this train is Red, White, and Blue! I gave you the best info i could before, when I told you it won't go to 2012, and that my friend is a fact! That is really why I have been asking you so much about this RV, I know it kinda puts you on the spot, I just am really concerned about things!" John~" Why don't you just get some investors? Get like 8 guys to give you 5 grand, and give them all a return! You are proven, you have the credentials, references, and financial history to provide an attractive return! Hell buddy, you could go that route make some investors some money, not have to be owned by those sponsors, and keep the rest. I figured what you made last year if you would have paid 10% on a 10 grand investment, I would have made 9,834 bucks profit,..something to think about!" Clint~" Well, that sounds like no RV in the next few weeks,lol. John~(laughing) Little buddy, never let your bills, livelihood, or responsibilities depend on an investment! Make that your golden rule! When you invest in something it's like taking money to vegas, just better odds, but always plan on losing it! You won't lose this one, but don't put your life on hold waiting for it. I have a meeting Feb 7th at 10 in the morning, and I will know pretty much more than anyone on the fuc**ng planet about the fate of the dinar. Maybe then, I can drop you a hint or two, right now, go play golf, get some investors, and the rest will fall in to place! at least there putting in the time and effort to find the answers! what do you do aside from sit here waiting to be spoon fed only to spit it back in the face of those who feed you? really what do you contribute to the forums? anything? no?!.... what does it matter either way, if you dont like what people have to say then dont listen. simple enough.

There is a real good chance we had real RV intel handed to everyone here as a gift and it was only thrown in the trash by jerks and rude people. There was a guy named "GreenAZ" that joined and only made 3 post. He was bashed so damn hard it was sickining to read. He seemed honest and happy to share his info. He claimed to be in a position to know insider info and even posted details of his recent visit to Iraq to structure an oil deal.' He gave the names of the persons he works for, he posted a profile with a pic with much details of who he is and what he does. He was offering to share info with the forum and give updates. He gave a RV date and rate range with the reason for the date and who in Iraq gave him the rate. If you go back and read the only 3 post he ever made it looks like he may be right on target and correct. and may have been the only real intel this forum has ever seen! And what happened? He was shreaded by a bunch of very rude jerks on this forum who call themselves investors. There is a very good chance that person was the only person to ever show up on this forum with real information and real facts that we could all use and he was torn apart by total animals. I doubt we will ever see him again and if I were treated like that I would never come back. The way I see it no one here deserves any info because of the low class actions of the wild animals on this forum who hide behind the mask of being human. Little did the poor guy know he was dealing with a bunch of mentaly unbalanced idiots for it appears he was only trying to be kind. So sad to watch.

In recent developments, the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) has called for clarification regarding the Iraq Federal Supreme Court ruling. The courts ruling was to place the CBI under the control of the Council of Ministries and under the direct control of Prime Minister Maliki. This all began when Maliki asked the courts for guidance in November 2010, just before he was appointed the new Prime Minister. Now, the CBI is asking for clarification of the ruling and it is unknown whether the Iraq Federal Supreme Court will issue one or not. The Development Fund of Iraq (DFI) is located in the Federal Reserve of New York (FRNY) which holds an estimated 50 billion dollars in the Iraq account. The CBI has stated and seems to believe that the DFI funds will be in danger when the CBI is placed under the control of the Council Ministries. This is not completely the case nor is it completely accurate. The Iraq's funds are now protected by the United Nations as per Chapter VII of the U.N.Charter. However, Iraq has emerged with limits from Chapter VII and this protection will only hold for six months. The creditors, whether they be private or government will eventually ask Iraq to pay back its debts. This will no doubt create a problem for the Iraqi government to service its debts. The debt servicing cost would ring up approximately 1.3 billion per month and could jump up to 5 billion in the future. Iraq may eventually find itself in a position where they are obligated to repay the countries debts resulting in a negative impact on the local economy. The result being a depletion of foreign currency reserves and oil revenues. The Iraqi government will continue with the DFI fund in New York. However, it will be under a different name thus allowing the Iraqi government to protect its growing 50 billion dollars. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) recently asked the Ministry of Finance (MoF) to start privatizing state owned banks so that Iraq will be able to obtain IMF loans. The Iraqi government has responded saying it is still several years away. The IMF is reminding Iraq about the pledge Iraq made in 2007 in regards to removing subsidies given to industrial sectors. The 2011 Iraq Federal Budget is approximately 78 trillion dinars. There is no set dinar exchange rate associated with the federal budget. The budget is calculated at the Oil price of $73 per barrel. The 2011 Budget will have some changes coming as the Kurds are upset about only getting 11% instead of the usual 17% due to calculations of the last years old prices. Expect more Budget delays in Parliament as there is backing to close the accounts of 2010. Meaning that, the state general budgets for the last 4 years were endorsed without having the closing of accounts of the previous years submitted to Parliament. Previously reported, the CBI was asked by the Ministry of Finance to remove all liquidity from all Ministry budgets monies that have not been spent in the fiscal year. Also, in December Prime Minister Maliki instructed the Ministry of Finance to submit a detailed report on the 2010 budget funds posted to ledger books. The report should highlight the names of the ministries that have not used up their funds. During a recent private meeting, in which I attended, the Iraqi currency was addressed. The Dinar currency will be going through restructuring in terms of specifications and shapes. When this transpires, both the existing currency and the new currency will be in circulation at the same time. That's right. One will not be taken out beforehand. Also discussed was the previously mentioned topic of the 100,000 dinar bank note. It appears that talks are still on the table in regards to this topic. The idea has not been flushed out. In other news, The Iraq Central Bank has announced that seven foreign and regional banks are now operating in Iraq in compliance with the CBI's financial controls. The CBI is also working very hard to activate banking licenses for the following banks; The British-Iraqi Bank, the Ceyhan Bank, a Turkish Bank, the Joint Bahrain Bank, the Iranian Qom Bank, the National Bank of Kuwait, and the Bank of China. I have also just learned that the World Bank will be giving the Iraqi government a loan of an additional 250 million dollars. That announcement will be made very shortly. The last loan they were given was back in April 2010 and that was for 250 million. Also, the Iraqi government is currently handing out 150 liters of heating oil for every citizen for the months of January, February, and March. The weather here has been unusually colder than normal as it also seems to be in many other parts of the world. In regards to the official inflation rate, it has risen to 3%.

Well I have been lurking for awhile here at DV. Doing some research. Watching like everyone else. I have thoughts that the RV will be close to the Kuwait amount. Here is my reasoning. The pride factor. There is so much pride in the middle east region that I believe the Iraqi Government will have to RV close to other dinars in that region or they will be looked at as weak. This is besides all the abvious reasons..Oil etc. Any other thoughts the same? let the bashing begin. I have nothing to gain so be kind. ( I am invested)

AmericanContractor is pretty much about the ONLY one who does not have a product, posts no adds on his site and doesn't ask for any kind of subscription fees. If you can prove me wrong I'd love the challenge. If not, I suggest you do your homework instead of criticizing others that do theirs.

WOW, i can't believe the uproar that my "bank rumor" post has caused. It has been showing up on a few other dinar sites and is even being discussed, as I type this, on some 24hr dinar chat line. The support and positive response I have recieved from most has been awesome, but I guess it has caused some problems. Some of the so called "higher ups" think I should have not given any details, such as: locations, names etc. I thought about all of this before I posted it and had many severe reservations, but obviously i did it anyways, and the reason I did was this: in most other bank posts the BIGGEST complaint is that NOT ENOUGH detalis were given, so I tOOk it upon myself to give it all, the people deserve to hear it. But I in no way intended for any trouble to come from it, and I guess it's a big deal right now, but I have no doubt in my mind that in a few hours, when something else juicy comes up, this will all be forgotten. Should i have given that much info.?, my heart says YES, but many others think NO. Whats done is done and if I caused any trouble for anyone or anything I APOLOGIZE 100% !. I do regret given out her first name, but nothing else! If the uproar is caused over the concern of the bank getting tOO many calls, wanna know what I say to that.....^&*(*&^%$$%^&^&*&&^%$##$%^&*(&*&^%$$%^&**&^^%$##$%^&^&**&&^^%%%^&*&^%%^&&, tOO freakin' bad!, I feel we have the right to verify what ever we want, and if that bank gets tOO many calls for a few days, tOO bad, make them earn thier money for ONCE! Hello all, Can anyone tell me why my reputation is rated -1 and who does the rating?

What a bunch of jibberish. We must be bored here.

Well, here we are again, another Friday afternoon sitting in anticipation of RV news to come. I have only been on this ride for a little over a month, I have read everything I can find on Iraq, the Dinar, their government, their culture and the possibility of the RV. I am optimistic by nature and believe very strongly that I have been placed on this ride by one who is far wiser and more powerful than I. Yes I mean God. This will be the only mention of Him in my post so it's ok to continue reading if you aren't a believer. I did not invest a large amount, in fact, it's probably a fraction of what most of you have. I took nothing out of our household budget, or savings(we have no savings anymore) I used Christmas money from family and OT pay to purchase just enough Dinar that at a 1:1 RV (and OBAMA'S cut) I can pay cash for a modest home for my family and hopefully open a bakery so I can quit my mundane Federal job and pursue my passion. I also took $50 out of each of my 3 kids' savings account for a college fund. I'm 34, so retirement on what I have invested is most likely not an option. That said, I have been paying close attention to the patterns here and on other sites. Why, if the RV is to happen, Is it primarily rumored for Friday or Monday?? What about Tue-Thurs? Could it not happen on any other day? I must have missed some posts explaining the logic in this. Also, I have to say that some folks seem to spend their entire day scouring these sites and the internet for "intel"; yes, I enjoy the weekend rush, the building excitement and the hope of waking up rich, but in the meantime, I still live my life. I get up, check my phone(in case of a missed middle of the night call saying"It Happened!!") I get my coffee, and check the CBI website. Then I get ready and go to work where I sit for 8 hours and punch numbers to ensure that our Veterans are getting the right levels of healthcare and that the Insurance Companies aren't trying to mess with them. I then come home and check the sites until my children come home from school. At that point my reading for the evening is done until after dinner, homework, bathtime and bed. My point is this...I am counting on this to happen but I am not letting it consume me. I love to read all the rumors and I admit that it has made my weekends very entertaining. The RV will happen whether you are sitting at your computer burning your eyeballs staring at the Forex charts or watching a movie with your children. Don't let this become so important that you miss out on the time with loved ones. To all who provide information, I thank you for your hard work. To all the chronic bashers, just relax. And to all who are sitting here in their 3rd hour reading ALL the new posts....please step away from the computer, get a nice cup of Joe and pick up a good book, I promise this will reduce your stress and lower youe blood pressure. Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting. Well, for example, the other day, Mary my wife and I went into town and visited a shop. When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket. We went up to him and I said, 'Come on, man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?' He ignored us and continued writing the ticket. I called him an “arsehole” . He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn-out tires. So Mary called him a “shiiit head”. He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing more tickets. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote. Ok. I just go off the phone with a member of the foreign currency team at Bank of America. I called their # that I got off their website. I spoke to a "well-informed" member of the team named Robert said this: "At this time, B of A is not nor will not in the near future be trading in Iraqi Dinar." After asking why this was, he said: "Iraqi Dinar is a speculative foreign currency. Currently, B of A only deals with foreign currency that customers need for vacation or commercial uses, and as of this time, Iraqi Dinar is not used for any of these purposes." After asking if they would be trading in it if there were to be a re-value, Robert said: "If this were to occur, then B of A would be willing to trade on this currency; however, at this time and no time in the near future does B of A have any reason to trade in Iraqi Dinar." Now, having posted this, I have completed to of the "non-bashing" requirements: (1) provided a phone number and a place to confirm that phone number (website); AND (2) I have given the NAME of the representative I spoke to. HERE IS MY TWO SENSE: I believe that the statements he made were very "canned" and thus were definitely being read of a sheet. When I first spoke to him, he gave a little "sigh" on the other end of the phone and paused...then gave his beginning reply. I will not speculate as to whether this means anything or whether he just gets a crap load of calls from investors like us. Finally, now that I have put this out there, I am ready and willing to tie myself naked to a post, in the sweltering heat of the Iraqi desert, and pour hot honey on my body, and let the "red ants" (nay-sayers and bashers) eat me alive. PROCEED. Debunker out.

Not correct. The last time it was at $3.22 was when Hussein was in power. Even then it was not traded at his "declared rate" the market was actually dramatically lower around $1 US / DINAR . The official GOI rate now is 1170 dinars/dollar ....less than a penny.

PeterJoe, Sad to say but we have some negative nannies on here that walk around with a doom and gloom cloud over their head and they love to give post a ( - ). But on the bright side we have a lot move positive people that are here to help and they will most always make up for the couple bad ones! The ratings are given to each of us by our fellow investors on this site so...for the most part if you are positive you will get ( + ) and if you are negative/hurtful/bashing or just being a jerk you will most likely receive ( - ) from your fellow investors! TV said…….that on the 26th/ Wed the MoP (Minister of Planning) and Dr. Shabibi talked behind closed doors. TV is reporting that their meeting was focused on how to boost the cooperation between the two systems……..the CBI and the GOI. These two have rarely met in the past they said. TV says they are working together and explained what they focused on last Wed. TV said…….MONETARY POLICY…..INFLATION and COOPERATION was their agenda. This is the part I like……M ordered the MoP to meet with S!!! TV said M TOLD MoP to work things out with the CBI!!! Whomever posted what you mentioned ( info from another thread) is just trying to put their own spin on it. Just wishful thinking. It is what it is and I'm pretty sure what was written by the Amer. In recent developments, the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) has called for clarification regarding the Iraq Federal Supreme Court ruling. The courts ruling was to place the CBI under the control of the Council of Ministries and under the direct control of Prime Minister Maliki. This all began when Maliki asked the courts for guidance in November 2010, just before he was appointed the new Prime Minister. Now, the CBI is asking for clarification of the ruling and it is unknown whether the Iraq Federal Supreme Court will issue one or not. The Development Fund of Iraq (DFI) is located in the Federal Reserve of New York (FRNY) which holds an estimated 50 billion dollars in the Iraq account. The CBI has stated and seems to believe that the DFI funds will be in danger when the CBI is placed under the control of the Council Ministries. This is not completely the case nor is it completely accurate. The Iraq's funds are now protected by the United Nations as per Chapter VII of the U.N.Charter. However, Iraq has emerged with limits from Chapter VII and this protection will only hold for six months. The creditors, whether they be private or government will eventually ask Iraq to pay back its debts. This will no doubt create a problem for the Iraqi government to service its debts. The debt servicing cost would ring up approximately 1.3 billion per month and could jump up to 5 billion in the future. Iraq may eventually find itself in a position where they are obligated to repay the countries debts resulting in a negative impact on the local economy. The result being a depletion of foreign currency reserves and oil revenues. The Iraqi government will continue with the DFI fund in New York. However, it will be under a different name thus allowing the Iraqi government to protect its growing 50 billion dollars. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) recently asked the Ministry of Finance (MoF) to start privatizing state owned banks so that Iraq will be able to obtain IMF loans. The Iraqi government has responded saying it is still several years away. The IMF is reminding Iraq about the pledge Iraq made in 2007 in regards to removing subsidies given to industrial sectors. The 2011 Iraq Federal Budget is approximately 78 trillion dinars. There is no set dinar exchange rate associated with the federal budget. The budget is calculated at the Oil price of $73 per barrel. The 2011 Budget will have some changes coming as the Kurds are upset about only getting 11% instead of the usual 17% due to calculations of the last years old prices. Expect more Budget delays in Parliament as there is backing to close the accounts of 2010. Meaning that, the state general budgets for the last 4 years were endorsed without having the closing of accounts of the previous years submitted to Parliament. Previously reported, the CBI was asked by the Ministry of Finance to remove all liquidity from all Ministry budgets monies that have not been spent in the fiscal year. Also, in December Prime Minister Maliki instructed the Ministry of Finance to submit a detailed report on the 2010 budget funds posted to ledger books. The report should highlight the names of the ministries that have not used up their funds. During a recent private meeting, in which I attended, the Iraqi currency was addressed. The Dinar currency will be going through restructuring in terms of specifications and shapes. When this transpires, both the existing currency and the new currency will be in circulation at the same time. That's right. One will not be taken out beforehand. Also discussed was the previously mentioned topic of the 100,000 dinar bank note. It appears that talks are still on the table in regards to this topic. The idea has not been flushed out. In other news, The Iraq Central Bank has announced that seven foreign and regional banks are now operating in Iraq in compliance with the CBI's financial controls. The CBI is also working very hard to activate banking licenses for the following banks; The British-Iraqi Bank, the Ceyhan Bank, a Turkish Bank, the Joint Bahrain Bank, the Iranian Qom Bank, the National Bank of Kuwait, and the Bank of China. I have also just learned that the World Bank will be giving the Iraqi government a loan of an additional 250 million dollars. That announcement will be made very shortly. The last loan they were given was back in April 2010 and that was for 250 million. Also, the Iraqi government is currently handing out 150 liters of heating oil for every citizen for the months of January, February, and March. The weather here has been unusually colder than normal as it also seems to be in many other parts of the world. In regards to the official inflation rate, it has risen to 3%. i guess he is the only one who wants more people to his site? if i'm not mistaken all of the dinar sites out there are always bragging about how they are the #1 dinar site on the internet and brag on how many thousands of members they have. and if i'm also not mistaken all these sites are bragging on what "product" they offer such as post RV investments, post RV cruises or parties, VIP sections, conference calls, radio talk shows....etc. what is AC offering? i'm not saying i agree with AC and his info any more than i do in any of the other sites and their "intel" but he hasn't said RV every friday and monday like some do every week. IMO no one knows nothing and has no "intel or sources" period!!!!

The 30 day time limit is believable...when Kuwait's currency revalued it was only valid for 1 week then they switched to a new currency, so the people holding the old Kuwait Dinar could not cash in after that week...I was a little concerned this will happen with the Iraq Dinar as well...30 days will be a lot better then a week but there's no guarantee that it will happen or last that long and Iraq is already talking about redenomination of their currency...We're just gonna have to pay close attention to everything that's going on and the events as they occur...We wouldn't want to miss the window (if there is a window) to cash in...I am a mother of 4 and I need a miracle right now...I have been working in Kuwait for a while now and it's time for me to go home and the best homecoming will be the future security I can provide for my children and family with this RV...Good luck everyone and keep your fingers crossed...God bless!!

Why does this suprise people? As I have stated before, emotions are high. Their seems to be more of a desperation rather than an anticipation. I understand that market conditions have been tough for many. Unemployment is at an all time high regardless of what a liberal media tells you. Medical, groceries and gas are just part of the inflation that has hit everyone. Unfortunateley, Tim it is obvious that you are frustrated. So let me suggest that you step back and evaluate the situation and if it appears to be to stressful step away for awhile. The RV will happen wether you are watching it or not. NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO PREDICT ACCURATELEY WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN!!!!!!! I encourage you as well as others to find their peace in something more tangible than a long shot investment that we have little control over.
