  1. As a Veteran and a Government worker, I would like to say.....WHAT HE SAID!!!!!
  2. My sister works for Suntrust, I will have her check into this as well.
  3. I am a federal employee and we have not yet been shut down. My understanding it they are giving until March 4th before that card is played. IMO, The RV is Obama's plan to avoid government shutdown and boost the economy as well as filling in budget shortfalls. He'll just say "Hey guys, look what I found" and it will all look as though he has saved the day. Again, just MY opinion....
  4. Nice post! I discussed with my family just today that we need to stop paying attention to the doom and gloomers. This is a solid investment, whether it takes another 5 days, weeks, months or YEARS it WILL happen. We are all so frustrated, and so many people are seemingly counting on this RV too much. I have not invested any more than I could afford to lose, I have not taken anything out of our household budget to buy more dinar and I have not sold or pawned anything to buy dinar. This is an investment.....not a necessity. I feel very bad for those who bought in undre false claims of "it's imminent, you better get in while you can!" That only urges people to spend far more than they can afford, thinking it will happen in time to pay the rent and tell the landlord to kiss it. I'm in it for the long term....the longer it draws out, the more time I have to accumulate more dinar as my budget will allow. We can't lose faith just because it isn't happening on our timeframe.
  5. I need the RV- Because my husband was laid off 2 times between May 2009 and Feb 2010 and we lost our home. Because I want to be able to help my best friend care for her special needs child. Because I have 2 teenage boys who won't stop eating all of my food. Because I don't want to be a burden to my children. Because I want to be a blessing to others and do God's work. GO RV!!!
  6. Oh, well I didn't see that and thought he was being mean. I appologize if I mis-understood. I'm in Murfreesboro.
  7. So the number of teeth a person has determines what state they are from?? Well then, riddle me this, Batman....I have ALL of my teeth (except for my wisdom teeth which were removed during boot camp) so where, in your opinion, should I be from? Apparently I am misplaced here in Tennessee, and to think....I been nowin wat a keybored is for goin on, aw dang..I lost count. Just curious where you determined Tennessee in your evaluation of the poster, who simply asked a question. There is no need whatsoever to be cruel.
  8. Forgive my stupid question, but with all of the conflicting information here, and everywhere else...here it is. Does it look as though we could see the RV even without the fully seated government?
  9. I have had some thoughts along the same lines of what Steve says in his post. As a Born Again Christian, I believe that we are on the threshold of the "end times" . I'm not a doom and gloom person, nor a I a "bible thumping psychopath". I, for one, along with my family am going to tithe 10% off the top for our church, then I plan to have a monthly amount to be budgeted for blessings, random acts of kindness and other charitable donations. I find it amusing that people can get on these forums, or or anywhere else for that matter and persecute the believers....but when we queation their athiesm or agnosticism we are offending them. The road goes both ways, in my opinion. I am perfectly fine with someone berating my beliefs. Those who do are not expected to understand what it truly means to be a child of God. We are warned in the bible that we WILL be persecuted for our beliefs and we WILL have to go through hardships because of our faith. As far as I am concerned, that is a small price to pay in comparison to the price Jesus paid on the cross, not just for me, but for EVERYONE who is willing to believe in Him. So as the red stones will likely fly, I shall turn the other cheek and continue in my belief that this too shall pass and very soon we will be abundantly blessed so that we can be the vessels of blessings to others.
  10. I already have my carry permit, and a lovely PINK Beretta. My hubby will also be getting his permit. Currently our dinar are in a safe that is NOT in our home, and we (my entire family; mom, dad, 2 sisters 2 aunts and uncles) will ALL be going together to cash in as a group and most of us do carry!!!
  11. Thank you and your team for all of your hard work! I have a hard time wrapping my blonde brain around alot of what is posted, especially the translations of some of the news articles. I am glad there are people out there who break it all down for the rest of us. YOU ROCK!!! GO RV!!
  12. Exactly! It's really funny because my hubby is 6'1 and my 13 year old son is 5'5. I am "vertically challenged". It's all good though, I have learned to use it to my advantage
