A spokesman for the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity Musab teacher, he said, of Anatolia, said that "Iran had halted three lines to pressure lines and ultra-high pressure capacity of 1200 MW; and because of the amount of debt accumulated nearly billion dollars."

The teacher added that "the Ministry of Electricity had paid earlier in about $ 100 million in Iraqi debt owed to the value of Iran."

He pointed out that his ministry " has asked the Iraqi Ministry of Finance  launched a special debt repayment money, but to no avail."

It is noteworthy that Iran had halted in part , in July of last year, supplying Iraq with electricity through two "Khorramshahr Basra," and "Krkhh Amar", who Amdadahma energy up to 800 megawatts, and was operated later , after repayment of debt .

It's kind of funny, no one pays for electricity in Iraq, it's all government subsidized. But if oil isn't at $100 bucks a barrel, Iraq can't pay for any of the social entitlement programs that Maliki and the other Shia's used as part of their patronage system to encourage support from the people. Couple more weeks of this crap and hopefully the people will turn on the leadership and start over.

I have always laughed at some of these gurus talking about the "Shite Brothers" working together with their currency plans an other joint ventures. Iran is a rouge nation lead by a bunch of fanatics who only care about themselves. I'm thinking when Abadi regains control of Mosul we will see him distancing Iraq from Iran...
