So who is your presidential candidate pick?

Just wondering....I look around and see an economy in the final stages of a major crash....an audit of the FED reveals they loaned out 15 trillion dollars...I am actually starting to be concerned enough I have been thinking about starting to hoard food and supplies...I'm serious...its coming, the dollar is practically worthless....you look at $3.30 gas prices and you think the cost of gas is going up...but I no longer believe its true, it finally hit me the other day when I walked into a grocery store and looked at a display where you can buy candy by the pound...brachs candy, you know the stuff....I was floored when I saw the price... $4.50/lb, not because I wanted to buy a pouind of candy(couldnt care less) but I remember when I was a kid growing up in the 80s and that exact same brachs candy display was priced at $1.25 a pound. So you say inflation right? Everyone assumes that inflation is normal, but its not...they are lying to us. On this site we all know that central banks inflate the money supply and that our currency is backed by nothing, its just paper...you cant inflate a currency based on gold, oil, food, etc...there is only so much available...you can only inflate a fiat currency. So in effect what this means to me is that since I was 5 years old the FED has effectively stolen 75% of the value of my money...and these politicians in washington have let them! Its outrageous! Its treachery! For this reason I am voting for the only candidate who wants to end the FED, Ron Paul. I have come to the conclusion that the other candidates are all the same, Obama, Gingrich, Romney, etc etc, they may say something different, but in the end they are all more of the same....their voting record proves it....so for me its a return to constitutional law and an end to the fed...Ron Paul!(Not to mention bringing all our troops home from the entire world...let them all take of their own problems....I've had enough) I'm sure a lot of people will get outraged, saying we need to be there, etc etc....but the fact is we did just fine keeping to ourselves before world war 1....our intervention has just made things worse with the possible exception of WWII

Totally agree.....Ron Paul all the way!!!!! I wish the American people would wake up and realize what is going on for real and maybe we could actually get him in office to try and fix the crap that has been laid down by the last two worthless so called fearless leaders....Great post!!!!

Ron Paul is totally missing the mark on National Security. Totally.

He'd be great otherwise, if he could be trusted. Clearly, personal accountability is an important trait in a President, and because of the National Security issue, he was scratched off my list before more careful scrutiny.

If we don't want to be flooded with illegal immigrants on the dole, then he is a bad choice.

The leaders of the Republican race all suck. Newt is for big gov't all the way, and will bend to whoever offers him the best deal. He can be bought.

I'm concerned that we're going to have another suck race with no good choices, like last time.

I can be flexible on the pro choice issue, but many Christians can't. I can be flexible on whether or not somebody is a Mormon. Almost no non-Mormon Christians can't.

Right now I can only think of two issues...National Security and Economics. What else is there?

I have to disagree, I think Ron Paul's non-interventionist(not isolationist) foreign policy is EXACTLY what we need. Why in the world is Iran a threat to us if they have a nuke? Please explain this....they dont even have one yet, but even if they did there is NO WAY they can match the 50000 nukes we have...you think they would risk bombing Israel and being wiped off the map? No, Ahmenijad(spelling?) may be evil, but he is not crazy....Israel would wipe them off the map even without US support. The fact is Pakistan already has nukes, and they aren't friendly to the US or Israel. Also, the ENTIRE reason we have so many problems in the middle east is because we have been interfering over there for something like 60 years...of course they hate us because we wont leave them alone. Israelis are big boys, they can take care of themselves. Ron Paul is NOT against defense, in fact he is for a strong defense, he IS against imperialism, our troops defend us best here at home, not in foreign countries...that is called offense, not defense. Just look at this whole Iraq thing, this investment aside, we have accomplished nothing there....we took down one dictator just to install a new one...or course the Iraqis hate us, from their perspective we did what we always do....made things worse....if we stayed here at home and freely traded with the entire world without getting into entangling money and life draining alliances with other countries we would be far better off....just like we were before world war I started our whole current interventionist police the world policy.

As far as personal accountability there is NO candidate with more than he has, he ALWAYS votes following the constitution, if the constitution does not specifically allow him the authorization to vote for a law, he votes against it, none of his campaign contributions come from big business at all, its all supporters...and another interesting fact for you...total contributions from active duty military to his campaign... $35000...twice as much as Obama(the commander in chief no less) at $16000...as for the other candidates, active duty military contributed between a low of $0 and a high of $5000...what does that tell you, the men and women who risk their lives for our country believe he has the best common sense out of anyone running

Oh so stopping all the wars and bringing the troop home to protect the homeland is missing the mark. Reducing the size of government is not good. I guess you want to keep giving away right for protection. One who gives up rights to have protection deserve neither. So let Obama take our guns, let the TSA stick there hands down your childs pants and yours, let the FEMA camps be occupied by US citizens, let congress keep spending, let the president give orders to kill americans at will and on and on, choose a status quo politician for president and you are going to get the same and you are getting now. Watch and you will see.

Ummmm I never said any of those things. I think all of them are good. But once you've upset the apple cart, you can't just run. So as for foreign wars...that's tough. But cut and run is just not acceptable.
