Popular Post kcw
Topic: official chat in progress NO TYPING Topic: official chat in progress NO TYPING Topic: official chat in progress NO TYPING [Adam Montana] I'm going to cover a few topics, then moderator kcw will shoot the questions to me [Adam Montana] I announced last week that I would be releasing my thesis on a projected RATE for the RV'd dinar [Adam Montana] I'll be sending all members an email later today with that thesis attached [Adam Montana] as long as you're a member of the forum, you'll get it [Adam Montana] also [Adam Montana] as many of you noticed [Adam Montana] everyone's reputation has been reset to 0 [Adam Montana] we didn't single anyone out, this was done across the board to all members [Adam Montana] from now on, anyone who's standing in the community dips too low - we are simply going to remove you from the site [Adam Montana] I think it's working already - the atmosphere out there is much more positive [Adam Montana] now to the important stuff, the Iraqi Dinar! [Adam Montana] my friend Sonny1 came in this week and gave his opinion on how the withdrawal of the US troops is going to affect us [Adam Montana] I have a lot of respect for sonny1, he's a smart man, and a great newshound [Adam Montana] I personally disagree with his opinion on this subject though [Adam Montana] I'll explain why [Adam Montana] We all know that several things have to happen in order for a ReValue to be a success [Adam Montana] 1. The UN sanctions against Iraq must be lifted - no military freedom, no ReValued Dinar [Adam Montana] 2. The world needs to see that Iraq has no intention of committing crimes against humanity again, and the world needs to see that Iraq is a functioning and able country again [Adam Montana] in other words, we need a stable Government of Iraq and we need forward progress [Adam Montana] 3. Although this isn't 100% necessary, a resolution to the HCL situation would make things MUCH easier for all involved. [Adam Montana] Even when we pull our troops out, we are not leaving Iraq a "sitting duck". IF something happened that Iraq could not handle on their own, we will step right back in [Adam Montana] however\ [Adam Montana] we can't babysit them forever [Adam Montana] and we WON'T babysit them forever [Adam Montana] so at some time they have to walk on their own [Adam Montana] the fact that the world is confident in Iraq and pulling out to let them control their own defenses is a GOOD thing in my opinion [Adam Montana] they are functioning, solvent, stable, and we are showing our support by pulling out - NOT the opposite! [Adam Montana] as far as my timeline goes [Adam Montana] I am still confident that within the next month - aka before Thanksgiving - we will see a BIG event, that could and should lead right into a rate change for the Iraqi Dinar [Adam Montana] that BIG event is going to be HCL, or Chapter 7, in my opinion [Adam Montana] if for some reason it's delayed a little longer, let's be honest - it's not the end of the world [Adam Montana] they need to have ALL bases covered - strong defenses, comprehensive education plan, etc [Adam Montana] if they RV too soon, before they have those bases covered [Adam Montana] they will be putting themselves AND OUR INVESTMENT in unnecessary danger [Adam Montana] I would rather be patient and let them do this RIGHT [Adam Montana] rather than take a chance of failing and losing it all [Adam Montana] so, that's my take on the date, and I'll be emailing my thesis on the rate later today [Adam Montana] there are a bunch of questions, so let [Adam Montana] s get started with those. kcw, would you please give me the first question? [kcw] --- Elixirbaby Hi Adam, When will your thesis be done for you to share? Thanks [Adam Montana] i must have known that was coming [Adam Montana] I'll be emailing it today [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] rope Will they have a timeline to cash in? [Adam Montana] rope good question! [joedee2004] Adam im sorry i interupted your chat,,i didnt relize you had already started so please excuse me...sorry [Adam Montana] It depends on a few thigns [Adam Montana] joedee2004 was kicked again. Next time will be a ban [Adam Montana] back to rope's question [Adam Montana] this is a really important one [Adam Montana] the biggest factor is the stability of the country [Adam Montana] when they RV, they will need to educate all of the people on how to cash in, how to use the old and the new bills, etc [Adam Montana] if they RV at a high rate, there should be no reason to force people to cash in quickly [Adam Montana] but if they RV low, they have a lot of reason to force people to cash in quickly - they will want to pull the large notes in quickly to prevent people from holding them until the value rises [Adam Montana] the higher the rate is, the more it will cost to cover the cash in. [Adam Montana] I"ll explain this a little better in my thesis [Adam Montana] but in my opinion, they will RV at a lower rate and force as many people as possible to cash in those big notes [Adam Montana] so in my opinion, I am expecting a limited time to cash in [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] idplzr Last Wednesday you left us with a feeling of excitement over things you have been hearing and discussing with your RESPECTED associates. Will you expound a little on where we are and what you have learned from the meeting you left last weeks chat for? Thank you. [Adam Montana] idplzr thank you for the question - I gave a pretty solid statement earlier in this chat of where I believe we are [Adam Montana] I base my opinion on my research and the things I hear and discuss with the people I do business with... not sure what else I can possibly provide you with [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] ssmith Adam Is it true that the auctions are buying dinar to lower their exposure they have in circulation & in your opinion how much does Iraq still have in world wide circulation? & does this number fit into your calculation on the RV vs lifting 3 zero's or both ? Thanks [Adam Montana] I have definitely given the auctions a lot of consideration [Adam Montana] the problem is nobody can truly know how much is in circulation [Adam Montana] but we do know that the auctions are an important tool that the CBI is using and will continue to use to control the financial situation in Iraq [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] bamagirl I would really love your take on what the total troop withdrawal by EOY means to our investment? Also, do you still think we are looking good for Thansgiving? [Adam Montana] answered that one above : ) [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] DinarNana1 What do you think about the ISX Report to further our investments?? Also your observation on the VND?? Thank you for all you do.. [Adam Montana] I think the ISX is a fun and very potentially lucrative avenue [Adam Montana] I am invested in it [Adam Montana] I can't give you financial advice, but I definitely think it's worth researching, especially if you have a Warka savings account already! [Adam Montana] if the rate on the IQD changes dramatically, it will have an equal effect on the stocks that are traded in that currency [Adam Montana] to me, it's a no-brainer [Adam Montana] I'm invested in Dinar, so I also invest in stocks that are traded in Dinar [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] ems The US has the world’s largest embassy in Baghdad. With the US troop withdrawal occurring by the end of the year, security for the embassy will probably be handled by contract guards (former US military personnel). While security within the embassy compound may be solid, the Iraqi police and military cannot effectively prevent mortar attacks on the embassy, or attacks on convoys to and from the airport. Why would we bother to keep the embassy open? Additionally, Iraqi police and military may have a difficult time in keeping the peace between Shiites and Sunnis and in protecting the oil pipelines. That makes our investment seem riskier next year as opposed to this year. I have good reason to believe that other nations that have invested in Iraq are also nervous about the future. Will the looming deadline of US troop withdrawal put any pressure by the international community on Shabibi to activate the RV before the end of the year? [Adam Montana] hi ems, thanks for the question [Adam Montana] I think what you are saying is [Adam Montana] when the US pulls out, the longer they wait to RV the riskier this investment gets [Adam Montana] and I completely agree [Adam Montana] I also think Shabs is a smart man, and I don't think he will intentionally flush Iraq's future down the drain by delaying [Adam Montana] in other words, I see this coming to a close very soon, and in a very good way [Adam Montana] good question [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] jv1054 I would like to know what your opnion is if The US pulls out all troops as stated. I'm sure there are many scenerios of possibilities. I wouldlike to know what you are thinking on htis recent announcement. [Adam Montana] dang! How did I miss so many of these questions? [Adam Montana] already answered. Next please [kcw] jon29 Good evening Adam, ------ When does Iraq's 2012 fiscal year begin? Someone mentioned January but things start rolling in November, is this the reason Thanksgiving and November looks good for a Dinar Revaluation or is there another rationale for that month? Thanks! [Adam Montana] Fiscal year for Iraq has always started Jan 1st I believe. [Adam Montana] and that is also figured into my analysis [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] Redhorse Hi Adam: With our troops being out of Iraq by December, to me, that would mean the end of chapter seven and Iraq would have to count on the NATO troops to defend them. Is this correct or is Iraq able to fend for themselves? Also, do you still feel that we will see an RV before December or will we still be waiting past New Years. What are your thoughts. Thank you for all you do. [Adam Montana] Good question, and I also agree with your assumption [Adam Montana] however [Adam Montana] it doesn't automatically mean Chapter 7 is completely lifted [Adam Montana] that's soemthing that still needs to be done separately, regardless of how many troops the US has [Adam Montana] but you are right - it doesn't make sense to leave them defenseless [Adam Montana] so I see Chapter 7 sanctions on Iraq being lifted very soon [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] rico I have "x" million dinar sitting at Warka bank in Iraq. I've not invested in their stock exchange. Now that the troops of the U.S. are pulling out, I feel I may be too late to invest as this doesn't sound like good news. I heard that those who invested in the ISX stock exchange in Iraq made good returns, but with this info about our troops pulling out, do you think the Iraq markets will tank?? [Adam Montana] I don't - I think the opposite will happen, in fact. [Adam Montana] I'm also taking into consideration that with a higher value on the Dinar, more companies will be doing business in Iraq, which will boost profits for the companies traded on the ISX [Adam Montana] higher profits = higher stocks in this case [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] Aqua Dude Adam, the CBI has just released on 10/25/2011 a document posted on their website that they are buying 10 De La Rue Machines worth 1.6 million each. In your honest opinion, what are these machines for? Printing? Sorting? Verifying? [Adam Montana] oooooohhh I was waiting for this to come out! [Adam Montana] according to the information I've received (some of it many months ago), the smaller bills are already printed [Adam Montana] keep in mind that when the IQD changes rates, they will have to introduce new denominations into the marketplace [Adam Montana] I'm under the impression that the DeLaRue machines are for verifying the existing bills as they come in [Adam Montana] once you cash in a 25k note, it will not be re-issued to anyone [Adam Montana] you'll get your change in smaller denominations, then the 25k note will be destroyed. [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] TVdinar In your book you said that Iraq was under 73 U.N. resolutions and Chapter 7 sanctions. What is left? Does someone have to bring each of these items up for a vote before they are dismissed? [Adam Montana] they do have to be voted on and officially dismissed before they are actually lifted [Adam Montana] I think all of them have been discussed and presented [Adam Montana] so it's not like we are starting from scratch [Adam Montana] they have been systematically lifting the sanctions for several years [Adam Montana] at the present time I think there are only 3 remaining [Adam Montana] and those are a rubber stamp away from being removed [Adam Montana] this is a good thing for all of us [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] Adam, I have a question for your input: Things we know: Libya is part of the GCC Libya probably will be wanting a new currency, one without any image of the former dictator New currencies is very costly and is complicated GCC is wanting to implement a unified currency GCC has already produced a currency although no in circulation Iraq, is not a voting member of GCC is a sitting member and a major oil producing nation Question: What is the probability that the Libya situation could be the situation in which the GCC will implement the unified currency? Would this force a finalization of Iraq to revaluate their currency? [Adam Montana] the question is "What is the probability that the Libya situation could be the situation in which the GCC will implement the unified currency?" [Adam Montana] It is an interesting concept, but we are still at least 5 years from a unified currency [Adam Montana] in my opinion, the Iraqi Dinar could come out at a dime [Adam Montana] work it's way up to $3.00 over 3 or 4 years [Adam Montana] then when most of the currencies are in the same range in the ME, a single currency would be implemented [Adam Montana] I think the dinar will RV before the single currency is made a reality [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] dtard Speaking of negs......Kuwait has been negative lately. How much power do they really have in keeping iraq in Chapter 7? Artifacts......bodies......the new port.....could take YEARS to make them Happy .Kuwait does not trust Iraq promises [Adam Montana] dtard that's a keen observation [Adam Montana] Kuwait shouldn't trust them! [Adam Montana] [Adam Montana] fortunately for us [Adam Montana] Kuwait has been stalling this for years [Adam Montana] and I think they've worn out their arguments finally [Adam Montana] the objections that Kuwait has had for years are being ignored more and more by the UN [Adam Montana] we all know Saddam was a horrible person and Iraq did some horrible things [Adam Montana] but Iraq has paid a lot of debt, they are making good on current payments, and we have no reason to believe they will not continue to do so at the same rate they are currently paying [Adam Montana] it's been long enough that the world is numb to the crimes Iraq committed, and we are all ok with forgiving them (as long as they pay that restitution!) [Adam Montana] so to sum it up [Adam Montana] Kuwait stalled Iraq's progress for a long time, but they no longer have as much power in this situation as they used to [Adam Montana] and I don't think they are a major factor any longer [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] TimS If the US pulls out of Iraq by December 31st as previously agreed, Iraq will be in no position to defend itself from a full invasion from Iran....I don't care how many fighter jets they buy from us now til then or how many training troops we leave there! The pull out deadline is 10 weeks away. But it should not matter because....and here is the first part of my question: Once the US pulls out of Iraq, if Iran or any other country invaded the country, would not the United Nations step in immediately with troops and sanctions against the aggressor? So there would be no long term gain to be had by Iran to militarily invade Iraq when we pull our troops out....because the reality would be that the UN would just gather majority support against Iran and they would stand to lose much of their own gains of the last few years. For sure they would lose their nuclear power plants, a good piece of their armed forces and have a bunch more sanctions placed on them as Iraq did after they invaded Kuiwait. If this is true, then the real hold up to any RV is strictly from within Iraq itself and because of their own government choosing....the second part of the question is....why would the Iraqi government hold up the RV that will allow their own people to prosper [Adam Montana] TimS I agree - we are not going to watch as they get slaughtered, if that were to happen [Adam Montana] Other than the Chapter 7 sanctions [Adam Montana] the only thing holding Iraq back is themselves [Adam Montana] and it would indeed be foolish to hold themselves down when they have a path to prosperity right before them [Adam Montana] which is exactly why I think we are on the short road to completion here [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] Blessed4ever Hi Adam! Do you still think that this could quite possibly be wrapped up by Thanksgiving? You seemed very positive in your chat last week, which got my hopes back up. PS.. I wont hold you to your answer, so dont worry! THANKS! [Adam Montana] Yep, I sure do! [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] QUEENLJ Dear Adam My first post so please be kind and clear. Was talking to a friend, His opinion was Iraq doesn't want to revalue or reinstate because its better to settle their debt at current rate (value) of their money because it will cost them less. If the money isn't worth much now (even though we think their debt and inflation) is high, the debt is less then having to pay debt at revalued rate. He was explaining what the difference between devalued, stagnation, and inflation meant to the economy. What are your thoughts please [Adam Montana] QUEENLJ your friend is smart [Adam Montana] to date, Iraq has been forgiven hundreds of millions in debt [Adam Montana] by many countries all over the world [Adam Montana] they have accomplished this by pleading poverty [Adam Montana] which they would not have been able to do had they RV'd the currency years ago [Adam Montana] a lot of investors never grasp this concept [Adam Montana] they think it HAD to happen by a certain date in the past [Adam Montana] and many of us who have been invested for years have been angry a few times [Adam Montana] but when you really look at the situation [Adam Montana] Iraq would have been foolish to RV before [Adam Montana] they saved themselves hundreds of millions of dollars by dragging it out [Adam Montana] luckily for us, they are just about out of delay tactics [Adam Montana] they saved a lot of money, and positioned themselves nicely [Adam Montana] now it's time to roll [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] Matilda What's your take on investing in the ISX? [Adam Montana] Matilda I love it. [Adam Montana] next pleaes [kcw] Old Constipate Adam This might be a question for VIP. I'm not looking for a date or rate just wondering Who wins the world series, in how many games [Adam Montana] my crystal ball batteries JUST went dead!!!! Sorry pal [Adam Montana] next please [kcw] cgbrown Are we there yet?? Is Iraq just waiting for our troops to be gone, before moving ahead with their currency rate change.? [Adam Montana] "Are we there yet?" [Adam Montana] ok everyone, thanks for the patience - I know it was a long chat. I wanted to answer all the questions, I hope this was an informative one for you all [Adam Montana] go rv!!!! 28
