Samuel L. Jackson: Tea Party is Racist

you might want to use that expesive computer to do some fact checking before you get on that racist bandwagon. Everything that is inclusi9ve for African American is for the help....aid...and assistance for those who have been left by the wayside....It really disturbes me when I see disparaging remarks made with little research. Primarily funded by Blacks...to Help Blacks... they didn't ask you for any money so why the problem?

I think for many the "problem" does not lye in the organization in and of itself but instead the fact that with all the cries of unity these organizations remain. When other races become the minority, as the in many States such as the southwestern States due to a booming Hispanic population, will these organizations step up and openly represent the minority if they are white? If there was a truly serious call to eradicate racism all these organizations would be dismantled. For, as long as any one race is allowed benefits or organizations that the others are not racism will definitely occur. Honestly, I invite anyone in today's America to explain why we need a Black Caucus in Congress, or a Black or Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, or scholarships that are for their race only, etc. All these items and organizations exist already that are open to all races.

The true "colors" will surely show in time as the "white" population continually decreases in births versus the other races. Will the "white" population be given the same minority rights as the others were in the past? Please do not attempt to claim that they have not faced the suffrage or racism that the other's have in the past as your argument. If that is anyone's argument then they are very unfamiliar with the history of the Irish, Gypsies, and Germans, and the treatments they faced during their migrations to our wonderful country.

I say this as a white male disabled veteran whose family was not in this country prior to the Civil War and to my knowledge never owned slaves.

Well, Joe, your showing that you are as ignorant as the Left Wing rag you linked to.

fas·cism   /ˈfæʃɪzəm/ Show Spelled[fash-iz-uhm]

noun

1. ( sometimes initial capital letter ) a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

2. ( sometimes initial capital letter ) the philosophy, principles, or methods of fascism.

3. ( initial capital letter ) a fascist movement, especially the one established by Mussolini in Italy 1922–43.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Origin:

1915–20; < Italian fascismo, equivalent to fasc ( io ) bundle, political group ( see fasces) + -ismo -ism

If you knew any thing about the Tea Party,

you would know they are for limited government.

More power to the citizens and not the politicians.

People who spout the Tea Party as fascists, confuse or just don't care of the facts.

Then ask yourself, why is there a Ms Black America, Black Cowboy Rodeo, Black Colleges hair salons for blacks only, etc. Every other race can have their organizations, except the Whites. So, when are we going to stop apologizing for our Great, great great grandparents? The few that had slaves. But according to all the Blacks ALL the white people owned slaves. Of course, they forget who sold them to the traders. The Black African chiefs who stole them in the first place. I am not apologizing any longer, nor will I attempt to be "politically correct". I will not intentionally cause problems, but I will not avoid them..

As a bondsman, I have found that the people who scream racist, are racist themselves. And most of the black actors are themselves racist.

Your account of black associations shows aggression and refusal to see fairly. There are still associations that are not possible for minorities to penetrate. Some of these programs you listed will give minorities a chance to be recognized where the average person would not have.

And don't pretend to understand the entire slavery disposition. Your eyes are not wide enough to give a fair excerpt.

The motion to remove him from office was set forth before day one.

Yes Mojack.

That's called "Vetting."

"Vetting is a process of examination and evaluation, generally referring to performing a background check on someone before offering him or her employment, conferring an award, etc. In addition, in intelligence gathering, assets are vetted to determine their usefulness."

Not only were the concervatives trying to remove him,

but so was the black community who stated that Obama was "not black enough."

Also the Clinton supporters were trying to remove him as well.

And don't forget, the "Birther" movement started on the left,

and not with the right. (now more are questioning, left and right)

Vetting is a normal process of the primaries and actual election.

The left put a bullseye on Sarah Palin, and still have one there.

Everyone want's thier guy in office.

Prior to the election,

real reporters noted that

Obama had little to no experience

that would lend him to holding the

most powerful position in the world.

Obama, prior to the election, stated he was for Cap and Trade

which would raise our electricity rates. "Skyrocket" was the word he used.

Prior to the election,

Obama touted his support of SEIU.

Except for the media, hollywood, and the left,

Obama was transparent as to his socialist standings.

Who his mentors were. (Frank Marshall Davis)

Who his community causes were. (Acorn)

Who he surrounded him self with. ( radicals like Bill Ayers)

His voting record, as well as his lack of voting, while as Senator.

One of which promoting partial birth abortions.

Or maybe they did see it as well, and wanted a socialist nation.

I, as well as many Americans,

do not want socialism or communism in our country.

It has nothing to do about race.

At least not with us.

Many did vote for him though,

only because of race.

How about you?

Did you vote for Obama

because of his socialist agenda

or because he's black?

I just don't understand why people listen so closely to these ENTERTAINERS, they have done not one thing to benefit society other that make us laugh, cry and entertain us. They pull down their pants and sit on the toilet the same way that you and I do.. Only when they start to contribute to the needs of the world and support the values of this country that made them who they are above the idea of being in the lime light should we then take notice and listen to them. Be constructive... don't just spew crap out of your mouth just because you don't agree with it, racism is a amazingly powerful word and should not be used lightly. The US has a very ugly past and racism is a big part of it. We have come a long way in trying to overcome this but some still insist to continue to use the racism card as a means to promote an agenda knowing that whoever is being blamed will whither true or not will have a dark shadow cast up on them. Entertainer's know that they can be in front of the public eye at anytime and they like to be controversial because it puts the spot light on them and that fulfills a deep emotional need that they can't get anywhere else so they try to still the pot. The political arena is a very harsh and brutal place to play in because of the millions of people that it effects and promoting agenda and crying out racism when there is not should not be tolerated and swiftly stopped. I like Mr. Jackson because of who he is and entertainer not because of what he thinks he believes in. So here is my two cents and Mr. Jackson I will tell you as I told Mr. Matt Damon... Shut the hell up unless you have something constructive to say.... :twocents:

Yes Mojack.

That's called "Vetting."

First Voted in to office.... Then Day One - "My main goal is to make Obama a 1 term president."

From the moment Obama entered office, right-wing conservatives embraced the posture of hell-bent opposition. Recall, in Jan. 2009, hate radio host Rush Limbaugh expressed his hope that Obama fails. One month later, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell proudly embraced Limbaugh at a conservative conference. The fringe rhetoric of far right activists had quickly become the de facto governing strategy of the Republican leadership, as they adopted a posture of obstructionism.

Believing that the Republican strategy of opposition has played to his political benefit, McConnell is pledging to do more of the same if Republicans win back the Senate. In an interview with the National Journal’s Major Garrett, McConnell candidly acknowledged that he feels his “single most important” job is to defeat President Obama in 2012:

That's called "To Hell with America"! Now if you agree with the strategy to freeze progression, for 1 to 4 years, I have nothing more to say.

Yes, Mojack, Rush did say "I hope OBAMA fails."

Not that America fails.

If you had listened to the entire Rush broadcast,

you would know what that statement ment.

Rush, as well as many Americans,

do not want a socialist nation.

His statement, as well as others,

was refering not to Obama's color,

but of his AGENDA!

And I stand with Rush, in that

I hope and pray that Obama's

AGENDA fails.

I stand for freedom,

not government control.

If you and others want a nanny state,

then move to europe.

Obama's "change, "

is not something I believe in.

I have a real hard time understanding,

how many can not get that through their skull.

I would be just a adament against Kerry, Clinton, or Obama,

just as I would be Karl Marx himself if he were running.

Yes, Mojack, Rush did say "I hope OBAMA fails."

Not that America fails.

But now the FACT is that Soetoro AND his Agenda HAS failed, Closing Gitmo, Not happened, Universal Healthcare turned exactly the same thing as McCains plan, raise taxes on the rich but not the lower and middle class, Not Happening, Getting us out of Frivolous wars, They got worse

Why keep harping on the fact when we've succeed to keep Obama from doing ANYTHING? I mean don't get me wrong, keep pushing forward, by why act like Soetoro has been ANY KIND of effective leader or that he has ANY KIND of power at all at this point?

Yah see, but its not, the Tea party was protesting barry soetoro's election WAY before he had failed this country, heck, they were protesting his being brought forward as a candidate....granted once he was elected the failure started almost immediatly....But the tea party starting shouting WAY before then about Soetoro...

Did you ever think that it might be because they looked at his voting record... short though it might be, and his inexperience... one of the newest members of the Senate? Maybe they saw that he had the most liberal voting record in the entire Senate, supported partial birth abortions, etc... Just because someone opposes a candidate doesn't mean it is the color of their skin... it might actually be what is "inside the man" that they are opposing... and they saw it coming "before" he took office!

I feel so sorry for those who believe the color of their skin gives them a voice for ALL others of the same color. I also feel so sorry for all those who are trapped in a prison of believing they can not do anything because of their race. That must blame all of their problems on race. Their own racism is bringing them into bondage not chains.

From what I have seen and heard from Herman Cain I sure would vote for him against Obama! He isn't allowing his skin to control him but his heart does. He believes in America and the constitution of America.

I agree that it is a shame people give credit to actors on their job performance. Just because they are a good actor and play good roles doesn't make them good people with good intentions, with moral values and the right perspective on life. When I was young I thought Doris Day was a sweet innocent woman with strong values. I Found out latter she hated the parts she played and the "good girl" label it put on her. She did not believe in the characters she played. Wake up people these are actors. In other words they make you believe them as something they are not!

The tea party "IS NOT" about race! It is about America and her constitution. Getting Obama out of the white house is "NOT" about race. It is about getting a man who doesn't believe in "AMERICA" or her constitution and is taking away our rights and liberties out of the white house along with all of his buddies who have the same agenda.

Herman Cain is not like Obama or Freeman.

Don't miss the point, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and the republicans and TP has said to hell with America!

It wasn't about agenda, it was about power. There's no movement toward any job negotiations are any positive postions for American citizens. This country is practically FROZEN. Reps and TP representaives have said nothing will be done until we have power. They will not allow any policy changes for America, not even their own, if it appears as a positive influence on Americans!!! You have to be blind to not see it.

Rush's name was just a part of my statement and should be excluded. I don't give a crap about his remarks.

The Comment i quoted and responded to said "They wanted him out of office because of poor job performance" I was just pointing out that he had NO job performance when the tea party started, what was he a junior senator for 2yrs?....I'm sure there are as many diverse reason within the tea party as to wanting Soetoro out as there are people in the Tea Party, obviously the WHOLE reason isn't based on race....But i'd definatly hesitate to say that NO ONE in the tea party wants Soetoro out because of his race
