My friends bank experience.

Good Evening,

First let me start off by pointing out some things. Yes I been watching the dinar for over 2 years and finally pulled the trigger last Dec. and bout some Dinars. I have been following this site and others just for the good reads. Lots of good info and lots of false and hurtful stuff too.

I decided to join recently incase I had a bank experience or anyone I personally had one that way I could share it. I really dont care if you believe me or not and if you are going to bash me. This is supposed to be a informative forum and esp. in the rumors section is just rumors.

Unless one has proof, you should take a rumor as just someones opinion.

So that said my friend had an interesting experience today. I received a message from them about her experience. A group of us have been making all our purchases at a 1st Connvenience Bank in Texas (Kerrville and Lavernia) incase you would like to know further.

Believeing that we might see something happen this weekend, they went in to make a purchase of more dinars. They said that when the teller was inputing the info to calculate exchange, a pop up message appeared stating that they couldnt garauntee the exchange rate.

My friend asked what they meant by they couldnt garauntee the rate. The teller then showed them the screens that had a pop up message saying rate was not garaunteed. They were able to make the purchase still at .0010562 rate which is what we have been getting so 1mil for 1005 usd,

but they explanation they recieved is that if the rate changed afterhours they would have to cover the difference. Now I dont know fully if I heard that part correct but tomorrow I will try to speak with them and get better details.

NOW please take this as a bank experience. NOT saying it will RV, NOT giving a rate or date. It is just an weird and interesting experience. I thought of not sharing but was hoping someone else had a similar experience.

So go ahead and bash all you want but if this is what happened to them. I believe them 100%. If you dont like it you can just move on to the next post.

PLEASE dont go out and buy dinars based on this story, I am not putting a garauntee on anything.

If I get more details or a change in story when I speak to them I will post.

I believe this post, even if the rest of the critics do not. I have a couple friends who I sent to pick up parts of a million dinar order from a currency exchange office on Monday and Tuesday of this week. All the notes were circulated 10000 dinars, which seemed odd. Both asked if they could get more on Friday, say another $300 to $500 worth, and were told yes. One arrived unannouced at 9 am was able to purchase his $300 worth, but the other who stays late writing, called several times in the afternoon, but was told they had none to sell, but when they did, they would call him, to please stop calling.

I think it is highly likely that dealers and banks buying from brokers were being told today's rate could not be guaranteed, due to the imminent nature of the RV!

God Bless America, America, Bless God!

Unlike most banks, 1st Convenience is pretty open with their info. They've let me look at their exchange rate screens a few times. Not brain surgeons, but not snobbis robots either.

Suprisingly they are. The first day I went to purchase the teller was telling me how they are all invested in dinars at the bank. Good people working there.

It's Friday Nite.

Time for certain people to drink some beer and then sign on to DV to create a story (yawn). How Original.

I would agree with you for most stories, info, rumors that are on here. Im sure you believe not all tales told in this sectoin are made up, or why else would you bother coming in the RUMORS section.

Maybe to bash and have a good laugh?

Bogus... Leave

Why would there be a RUMORS section? Why you do keep coming in here if its to bash a rumor/story.

rumor =

Be circulated as an unverified account

A currently circulating story or report of uncertain or doubtful truth

Why would anyone post anything in this section if all people like you are going to do is bash away?

By the way just cause you(specifically) can't verify a story, doesnt mean its not true.

Thanks for taking the time to post your story. I'm sorry if most of the people left on this site are not capable of anything but trashing others. It's so easy to sit around waiting for someone to post, then you pig pile on them like a mob. All of you people doing that are not impressing anyone. Period. I get sick of dropping in here even briefly now, there is no good, original content because there are no thinking people willing to put up with the constant moronic bashing.

If you don't have some interesting information to share with us, then please just shut up and spare us all the idiotic ranting, as if you have all knowledge. Yes, we know most rumors are just talk, or inaccurate, big deal. At least it's sometimes informative. Hearing the same people saying pump, pump at everything, I mean everything, is a total disgrace. My reply to those that say pump, pump, pump, is to suggest you learn how to first string a thought together, then eventually an actual sentence that involves more that one four letter word.

Talk about dumbing everyone down, how about some facts to go with that hatred. How about considering that the person that wrote it is an actual human, not just letters on a screen. How about realizing that you could be wrong and you just defamed someone because you think you're so super duper smart and all....what with being able to come up with that pumper line out of you butt every time... it's sheer genius, I know I love to read a nice post, then look down the page at all the snakes coming out of the woodpile... hungry for the red meat like pack wolves... oops.. mixing metaphors...

Oh my, now I've gone and pissed them off... here comes the bashing.. hahahahaha.

Good job. In the end they're not worth it because deep down they come in here to keep a ear to the streets per say. It does get tiring.

Well unless I have something new on this or a new experience/hear from a trustworthy friend, I prob wont post again. The bashing is getting old.

Well, my only concern with the story is that the bank "can't guarantee the rate". When I've purchased from my bank, I had always asked if the rate was locked in upon purchase/exchange (with the thought they might RV before I actually received them... usually a five day wait) They always said yes, it is based on the time you buy it, posted on the receipt. Period. Yet, these people were still able to make a purchase? And... "who" would be responsible for the "difference" in value if it changed prior to them recieving the dinars... the customer? Seems sketchy.

I couldn't agree more....this is why Dinar Recaps is growing the way they are. You can read the posts and ignore if they are obvious pumpers but at least you don't have to listen to all the negative comments from all the "more informed" members as do here on DV. That is why Adam created a rumors section in the first place.

Always the same schtick.

Friday night

Newbie

"I'm not new to the site, always been a lurker

bank story from a friend

How much are they paying you?

Nothing. Lying isn't my thing.

Thanks for sharing....I don't doubt you for what you reported here. I believe you were sincere... Having said that... My opinion on this is that it's BS. You were lied to

That's fair. Believe what u must. Question everything I say, but For me i personally know this person wouldn't lie to me. We have been patiently waiting for this rv.

I know. But even on the receipt from the bank it clearly states *price is subject to availability.

So that would make sense that if they are having trouble getting it they are not going to guarantee like these sellers online.

Banks always wants to make the extra buck IMO.

The banks can lock the rate when they know they can get it, bin do u think they will lock it for future transactions.

If they couldn't buy dinars at the 1170 rate and they were finally able to buy at an rv rate. Do you think they will still give u the 1170.

Doesn't make sense for them to lose money.

Interesting.

I haven't bought any since January or February but when I did I went to a currency exchange. They'd always ask whether I wanted to pay up front and have the rate locked or just order and pay whatever the rate was when they received the dinar two days later.

My opinion is that if you purchase dinar and pay outright, your rate should be locked in, It's not your problem if there is a substantial rate increase between the time of purchase to the time of delivery.

Not saying your story is bogus, maybe they do it differently in the US.
