  1. I posted about this yesterday at the same time as Barbie. I actually got a call from a friend who was at the bank and went to verify it myself. I can't believe all the negative posts Barbie has received on this. Like Barbie, I posted because I thought it would be an encouragement........guess we were both wrong. Geesh...you would think we posted under a section called "RV FACTS" instead of "RUMOURS". This sort of treatment is exactly why I don't plan to renew my VIP membership.
  2. Yes, I see our posts were five minutes apart. I actually got a call from a friend with the news and went to the bank to verify it myself. I can't believe all the negative posts for the other member. I posted because I thought it would be an encouragement........guess I was wrong. This is why I don't plan to renew my VIP status. Go RV!
  3. Hey Gang! I've got my own bank story now. For the past 6 months I have been buying Dinar and Dong at First Convenience Bank here in the Dallas Metroplex. A few months ago we started getting a warning about Dinar availability on the teller screens saying they may not be able to fill the order due to demand.... but all my orders were filled as requested. My Dong orders never had that warning. My last order was last week and I received the Dong in only two days. When I went into the bank this afternoon I was told they no longer sell Dinar or Dong. I know the teller owns both currencies so when he heard about the policy change this morning he was quit interested in knowing more but couldn't squeeze any details out of their main office. He was obviously interested about the change in policy and what it could mean to the RV.
  4. I couldn't agree more....this is why Dinar Recaps is growing the way they are. You can read the posts and ignore if they are obvious pumpers but at least you don't have to listen to all the negative comments from all the "more informed" members as do here on DV. That is why Adam created a rumors section in the first place.
  5. At the risk of incurring the wrath of all the doubters I'll throw my hat into the ring as well. I am a Newbie to this investment and as many of you, I purchased my first million dinar from one of the online dealers. A friend of mine told me that I could purchase Dinar from First Convenience at Wal Mart or our local Kroger stores in Denton, TX. I found that hard to believe so I went to the Kroger store on Loop 288 and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to purchase a million Dinar for about $1,056..... a much better deal that I got from the web dealer (over $1,200). The only difference is I got circulated 25,000 Dinar notes rather than uncirculated. Oh, and I didn't get a fancy guarantee certificate either but was assured they didn't give their customers counterfeit notes. What I also got was a friendly teller by the name of Chauntese who knew nothing about the Dinar but a lot about customer service. She explained that they are a division of First National Bank of TX out of Killeen and they are the only bank on the base at Fort Hood where all the soldiers rotate in and out of Iraq. It's nice to go to a bank that is so friendly and is open 7 days a week. Since that first visit I have purchased many more times (between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM BTW) and always received the same excellent service. So there you have it.... another bank story from a Newbie for all you doubters to pounce on. Feel free to call them @ 940-383-0977. The manager's name is Adrian Nelson. I've been monitoring DV for about 6 weeks now and am appalled at how vicious some of these posts have become......sort of reminds me of some churches where it's the older members who are the most bitter.
  6. Easy, I've never posted before but I had to say thanks for your courage. I've followed Kim for years and have known him to be very reliable. Go RV!
