Today, Tuesday, a member of the House of Representatives, Abbas Al-Zamili revealed the reason for not holding the House of Representatives sessions, indicating that the Corona virus is not a reason to disrupt Parliament's sessions.
Al-Zamili said, in an interview with "Today News", that "Corona affects the sessions, but it is not the main reason for not holding them."
He indicated that "holding a parliamentary session does not take place without a request from the Presidency Commission, and therefore the sessions must resume to meet the demands of the Iraqi street," noting that "Parliament is studying the technical and health aspects of holding the sessions, after the end of its vacation on the third of next September."

So, I guess, if they don't meet....then they can't vote themselves out of GOI jobs. But, they still get paid.

Best of both worlds. House of turds.

The CBI have all the laws they need, what's missing is will power. They definitely don't see Iraq's economy renaissance the way we , investors, see it. Let's hope that that's changed on their new White Paper economic reforms.

I don’t think they’ve finished raiding the CBI & Treasury.... after all stealing the wealth of an entire nation does require allot of one’s time and energy.  I really hate these guys
