Iran's value to a dollar is at 42thou riyals official rate..

42000riyals= .0000238 dollar...if they remove 4 zeroes from this value.. . It becomes  1 riyal= .238dollar ...from there u can figure out what toman value is...remember 1toman = 10riyals....this is how I see it...cheers bro...let's go Iraq...u are next

In my opinion, Iran deleting 4 zeros of its riyal is a lop, and changing the name to a "toman" is an attempt to cover that up.  Iran is in a world of hurt because of Trump's sanctions and their economy is imploding with hyper inflation of roughly 50% month.  Obviously this seriously hurts the Iranian people who are starting to protest against their government.  While Rouhani is playing chicken with Trump (and the the world for that matter), he needs to try and placate his people.  So I'm betting he is pushing Iraq hard to RV - ASAP!  Iran has easy access to IQD and with a higher purchasing power of the IQD, that would immediately give Iranians much more purchasing power - which they desperately need.  So I'm pretty sure Iran is asserting maximum pressure on Iraq to get them to push that RV button immediately.

According to the Iranian sites, the Iraqi oil, the Executive Director of the Iranian Energy Exchange Ali Hosseini, who in turn confirmed the readiness of the stock exchange to train and develop the Iraqi capital market, and reached a memorandum of understanding for the provision of professional courses for directors of the Iraqi Stock Exchange in cooperation with the Accounting Department of the University of Zahra in Tehran.

He said in a press conference held inside the House of Representatives, on Wednesday, attended by the correspondent {Euphrates News} that "one of the most important outputs of today's meeting with Finance Ministers Fuad Hussein and Oil Thamer Ghadhban and the President of the Office of Financial Supervision and in the presence of Deputy Speaker Hassan al-Kaabi and more than 70 deputies Share the territory and bypass the budget law and its violation. "
"The basic outputs that have become very clear to the deputies is the failure of the Minister of Finance to the provisions of the budget of 2019 and violated it with intent."
"The second paragraph of the recognition of the Minister of Oil that the proportion of oil exported from the Kurdistan region, according to the budget is not 250 thousand barrels a day, but 460 thousand barrels per day, except smuggled oil tanks, which may reach 600 thousand barrels per day.

He added support "Minister of Finance represents the region and does not represent the Iraqi government and today was his defense only for the dues of the region, and we asked to grant the provinces dues as granted to the province and provide jobs to demonstrators in all provinces on the pretext of the absence of financial allocations while thousands of billions to the region.
He said that "the Minister of Finance has handed over to nearly 4 billion dinars for the region during the past six months," stressing "continue questioning and dismissal and not allow to override the Iraqi public money."

A member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, MP Yousef Al-Kalabi, on Wednesday, the deportation of the file of the export of Kurdistan oil and violations of the Minister of Finance to spend money for the region to the next legislative term.  

"We have not received convincing answers from the finance minister and we will proceed to question him at the beginning of the next legislative term," Al-Kalabi told Al-Ahed.

He added that "the head of the Federal Audit Bureau replied to a question that the region is not cooperating with the Bureau."  

For his part, revealed MP Sadik Meddul, that the Kurdistan region exports more than 700 thousand barrels per day and not 450 thousand barrels, pointing out that the previous government, headed by Haider Abadi allowed violation of the provisions of the law on the export of oil in the region.

It is noteworthy that the Iraqi parliament hosted the ministers of finance and oil, for questioning about the irregularities carried out by the Kurdistan region on the sale of oil without delivery of funds to the Iraqi oil sales company (Sumo). In contrast, the Ministry of Finance to pay the financial dues of the province of the federal budget, End quote
