And it’s because, if you haven’t had a transition in your life where, you know, you were maybe born poor or born without certain privileges and then especially as you transition into having certain privileges in your life, you actually see and feel and sense and taste and smell all of the differences. If you’ve never experienced different treatment in your life, you wouldn’t know what different treatment feels like or looks like. And it’s really, really hard. I mean, it’s like — and we can all, almost every single person in this country can acknowledge some privilege of some of some type, you know. I’m a cisgendered woman. I will never know the trauma of feeling like I’m not born in the right body. And that is a privilege that I have, no matter how poor my family was when I was born. But it’s really hard for some people to admit that they — you know, it’s part of this weird American Dream mythology that we have, that for a lot of — in a lot of circumstances isn’t as true or isn’t as clearly communicated as we’d like for it, or we wish it was.”

I know that when you don’t know someone or are unfamiliar with something it is easy to hate, push back, or call that person a name. It’s just human nature to rebel against anything new. Knowing all this I dare you to read the above article and scratch your head and say, 

WTH did she just say.  I know I shouldn’t name call but my white privilege demands I do it. This woman is “like”  LOONY !!!!!!!!!!

Note:  "cis" is Latin, meaning "on this side"...."trans" is Latin, meaning "on the other side".  Looked it up.

Shabbs, Did you “like” read that article.  Have you read anything that woman has written.  If you have and you agree to what she is espousing then you are a complete 100% Democrat and we won’t need to discuss anything anymore. We’ll just go back to trading barbs. That woman is a loony tune whack job.  There’s not one thing I’ve read or heard her say that is remotely In line with what made America great.  The Dems are going Socialist, which is one step from Commie Land.  Is that what you want.  If so just move to Russia or Venezuela for a few months and report back about how great those Socialist and Communistic countries treated you and your wealth.

To me, AOC's very similar to Trump, easily triggered.....I believe she will spend a good portion of her time attacking her detractors via Twitter and other social media outlets.....rendering her completely ineffective in her socialist goals.....she will burn brightly for a while......then fade away when she becomes tiresome for reasonable people.....She will hold onto her fringe base, same as Trump....but those who showed early interest will leave her behind.  As always, just my opinion.

i will one more time say I do not like Trump’s style, his bluster, his bragging, his tweets, but I like his stand on Border Security, the tax cuts, the new NAFTA, his making America energy independent from ME, his trying to get N Korea to stop shooting missles all over the South Pacific, getting us out of The Iran Nuclear Deal, standing firm against China on intellectual thevery and our trade imbalances, making the EU pay their fair share of NATO and making better trade deals, low unemployment, minority low unemployment., best economy in over a decade,,,,,,do I need to go on because I can.  

 

All of those accomplishments while under under direct assault by the media,( 90% negative articles) the Dems and their impeachment talk, and a bogus phony Special Investigation by the treasonous leaders of the CIA, FBI, and DOJ. No President has EVER had to deal with this amount of garbage.
