Yes, im sure he is grateful for the popular crowds help against isis, but lets remember that the popular crowd was told to absolutely stay out of anbar province and nineveh and was only allowed to guard the outer borders of those provinces. I guess time will tell as the parliament sessions begin, but so far it seems that the u.s. may have scored a large point with the new speaker of parliament. This guy seems to have come out of nowhere...
