Thanks so much for the kind words 10 years later! You've been an inspiration to me since I started reading posts here a few years ago! I figured if you can wait 14 years and still be optimistic, I have nothing to complain about after waiting only about 1/2 that long!

My husband and I still make post RV plans and lists, and talk of "when" and never "if". Gotta keep the faith!

I've lost count how many times I have had to " revise & update " our plans . . . guess one of these days real soon I'll be able to " work that plan "  - appreciate your kind words - and it's every " soldiers' " prerogative to grumble now and again.

I've been on an occasional rant here, only cuz these knuckle dragging mouth breathers can really get under my skin now and again with their shenanigans.

Hey everybody!

Here is a statement by Abadi from a couple articles back, "He explained, "Abadi" that Iraq pulsing energy and we seek to take advantage of every barrel of oil and every gas flame burns, declaring that the five-year plan is no longer sufficient and suitable for adoption in production due to the ongoing and that led to a decline in economic growth is no longer the budgets of Iraq could have sufficient capacity to cope and cover wars the current cost of population growth."

And in an article right after that - The deputy secretary general of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Sunday, Barham Salih said:

"He continued, "It must be set up a fund for the development of international investment," adding that "the fund will focus on" infrastructure projects and the creation of national unity of the country. "

Folks, I think this is really, really good news for sooner rather than later. Some folks seem to think the five year plan or whatever needs to be in place and Iraq is a functioning economic power before the IQD revaluation. Of course, I could be entirely mistaken and reading things into things but my opinion is the revaluation needs to occur first on reasonably sustainable conditions like Security and Stability for Iraq to take off as an economic power and to avoid issues that will compromise Security and Stability.

I don't think things have been better than now and are looking even better in the near term. When the IQD revaluation occurs, the potential is even greater for Iraq's economic development.

As always, just my opinion and :twocents:. I must admit, however, the prospects are getting me more excited! :backflip:   :backflip:   :backflip:

Go Moola Nova!

Half Crazy Runner, I hope your foot feels better and that you are 'up to speed' soon. Bone heals stronger than its original state after the recovery of a brake. At least you can feel your feet! The opposite is something I've been dealing with for a few weeks. I just had a CT scan Fiday to see if there's a mechanical change to my L5/S1 fusion from Dec. '08.

I truly hope some of the delay and legitimate pessimism is a ruse and that the IQD increases its artificially low value between now and the end of May. I don't want to lose faith in my own energetic intuition. FYI: I was not if the history regarding Germany's currency but will admit I don't want to see the IQD become another post-war currency like Vietnam's.

What ever happened to the $550+Bb that Trump supposedly froze that was found in U.S. bank accounts in the name of Irraqi politicians? I thought that would generate some inertia to motivate Iraq to decrease corruption and move toward a legitimate global and semi-transparent economy.

It truly does seem that there on the correct road to creating, Stability and  Security. They seem to be working on the kinks with the HCL, and liberating Mosul is most definitely a key item in this, how soon can they add purchasing power to there Currency, We would like to believe as soon as Mosul is free of Isis which can be early as this week. The question is will they do it right away or will they delay the inevitable. I have to say this is getting really interesting and there have been a lot of positive articles like never before.  Fingers crossed  for 2017

Iraq to supply gas to Kuwait soon: Minister KNPC offers oil depot study to bidders in June  April 3,2017

BAGHDAD: Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi speaks during the Iraq Energy Forum in Baghdad yesterday. —AFP

Iraq will complete soon a project for supplying gas to Kuwait in line with an earlier agreement hammered out between both sides, Iraqi Oil Minister Jabar Al-Luaibi said yesterday. The minister made the remark during the third Iraq Energy Forum held in Baghdad between April 2-3, lauding good cooperative relations between Iraq and Kuwait. “Iraq will supply around 200 million cubic feet of gas to Kuwait on a daily basis in the context of good cooperative relations between both countries,” Luaibi addressed the two-day forum.

The Iraqi minister also unfolded Iraqi-Iranian talks on a partnership agreement pertinent to the production of joint border oilfields. He added that his country has invested 1.4 billion cubic feet of gas a day in 2017, compared with 650 million cubic feet last year.

Held under the title ‘Towards an Effective Energy Sector and Economic Diversity,’ the Iraq Energy Forum allows people connected to energy industry to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the Iraqi energy sector in a cordial yet focused environment.

Oil depot project

In other news, Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) is expected to offer the initial study for the $400 million Al-Mutlaa oil depot project for bidders in June, KNPC’s Deputy CEO for Administrative and Commercial Affairs Basem Al-Essa said yesterday.

The project is to be completed in four years’ time, including bidding, assessment, approvals and construction, Essa told the third session of the Consultation Partnership Advisory Council (CPAC) on behalf of the KNPC’s CEO. He added that the company is hard at work to achieve the strategic vision of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) for supporting the national economy through offering the opportunity to the local private sector to act as a chief contractor in the state’s grand projects.

The KPC has allocated several activities for the private sector to take part in such as the plant for mixing oils, in addition to establishing 19 fuel stations, out of a total of 100 ones to meet the needs of the urban expansion in Kuwait, Essa said. He stressed the importance of establishing partnership with the local private sector, manufacturers, contractors, suppliers and consultants for the good of all. According to the statement, the KNPC has tasked its affiliate companies with six strategic initiatives for increasing the local components on the oil sector. — KUNA

Half Crazy Ruuner - You are very welcome. I stated the comment about the manner in which bone heals and regenerates from personal, academic and professional experience.

I made a career change (attempt) years ago from mutual fund accounting and completing the CPA  exam to pursuing a degree in physical therapy. I wasn't able to complete the PT academic pursuit in its entirety, but I came across a variety of energy medicine techniques and combined them with a form of EEG Biofeedback (neurofeedback) to satisfy my personal and professional needs and desires.  Things got 'off-track' when a surgeon re-attached a ligament in my shoulder in the wrong spot and surgically created an environment in which my shoulder was designed to dislocate. I had 120 consecutive monthly trips to Mass General, and another 7 surgeries on top of the first 5 to 'correct' the  matter. There's a huge difference between soft-tissue injuries and bone brakes, If there's any hesitation in your body's healing, then look into a bone regenerator/stimulator - which is a portable product that can be used to stimulate osteocytes (bone cells) to regenerate. I am sure your overall healthy lifestyle will make the latter apparatus unnecessary and that you will be fine.

In the meantime, let's go Iraq! The world is watching and waiting - Master Yota's roller coaster avatar  should be coming to an end soon, so let's get off this crazy ride by showing the world you can move beyond corruption (at least minimize it) and work together as a country and stop the bickering! It might sound 'crazy' Iraq, but you will actually be much much wealthier - and hopefully happy - if you start to implement overdue projects by using the proceeds to re-build your nation correctly, and actually develop a society that functions and operates more from hard work and effort when compared to theft.

'Just my 2- cents', which is based on the "give a man a fish,  feed him for a day, but teach a man to fish, feed him for life" philosophy.

The Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi, had called for in his speech on the first day of the forum to rely on renewable energy, pointing out that the need for oil and electric power will double over the next 15 years ,. The House of Representatives Speaker Salim al - Jubouri , in turn, that the oil and gas law is the backbone of the organization of the relationship between the center and the region and producing provinces.
The Oil Minister Jabbar Allaibi during a speech at the forum, that Iraq will end soon to complete the project of gas supply Kuwait, according to the agreement concluded between the two countries, pointing at the same time, that arrived in Iraq for the first time, to export thousand tons per day of liquid gas, and hopes export of 7,000 tons per day of liquid gas, and added that it will be in this year , an increase of 20 thousand barrels per day, in enhanced gasoline production, adding to the import of oil products worth $ 2 billion "in one year.
According to the Minister of Industry and minerals agency Mohamed Xiaa Sudanese, during his participation in the forum, that the country has spent $ 321 billion, from During the ill - considered projects in the period between 2006 to 2014, noting that, the ministry has developed programs for sustainable development in the medium and long term until 2030 term, through the use of natural resources of high responsibility, noting that, his ministry is determined to implement its decisions to absorb unemployment and stop wasting money which reached large proportions of more than three billion dollars. in
turn threw water resources Minister Hassan al - Janabi , an intervention in the Forum in which he stressed, that as far as it comes to water resources, Iraq is facing severe challenges, having lost and wasted, major opportunities to improve the water sector, in conjunction with the sectors Other economy obtained by debris, destruction, wars, underdevelopment and isolation, the water sector has not separated from the sectors of energy and food. This fact has become a successful, comprehensive and integrated sustainable economic development assumptions, whether economic, social, environmental or climate - related climate warming and obligations of States to their obligations under international conventions, most recently the Paris Convention on Climate Change in the atheist twenty parties meeting (COP21) in Paris, and reduce emissions greenhouse gases, and consequently the gradual move away from fossil energy sources toward renewable energy sources.
He added that this link between water, food and energy still need more research and checking for re - definition, eliminate confusion, mystery and faith naive wealth, resulting from abundant oil reserves, abundant water resources and fertile land, reclining on an assumed price of fuel in the world markets, and thus surrender to the feeling relieved in the ability to buy food from the world markets, compared to the negligence of the local market for food and agriculture, and the payment of salaries bloated and excessive privileges, and spending on projects it turned out to be a high proportion of them were almost fake.
The al - Janabi, the country 's revenues from Mesopotamia water is decreasing, has lost our country more than a third of its revenue from the Euphrates rate, will soon lose half of its revenue rate of the Tigris River water across the border with neighboring Turkey, and we have lost in the last two decades, the waters of the rivers Karkheh and Karun , both of which originate in the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and they pour in Houralhoveizeh and the Shatt al - Arab, respectively, and thus the traditional methods Balaroa are no longer useful, and that the agricultural sector needs to move rapidly from the loser sector depends mainly on the support of the state, to a profitable sector or at least standing on solid ground.
He noted that the country needs to spend an estimated $ 180 billion, of which 68 billion in infrastructure and reclamation in the field of work of the Ministry of Water Resources, including more than 80 billion dollars in sanitation and drinking water sector, and the amount $ 10 billion in the field of dams, rehabilitation and energy production and so on .
He stressed the ministry 's desire to respond to the needs of the oil sector of water in the oil fields, where for each barrel of oil extracted, there is a need for the equivalent of a barrel and a half barrel of water.
The forum was also discussed, the impact of US policies on the vagaries of the markets and the economies of oil - exporting countries in the Middle East, especially Iraq and the role of international oil companies in Iraq and ways to curb the risks, and promote investment opportunities and to discuss financial systems and legal frameworks in light of the economic reform process, and the development of systematic plans to address population growth, unemployment and technological development challenges, and look towards Iraq after 2030.
founded Iraq energy Institute in 2008 as an independent non - profit organization working on the rationalization of energy policy in Iraq and providing the economic and legislative reform efforts, and the development of scientific research in the areas of Oil, gas, electricity and renewable energy. It was appointed as a consultant to the Institute of Oil and Energy Committee representative in the Iraqi Council of Representatives. The center is located President of the Institute in the United Kingdom (London) and participate in the Institute 's Board of Management Advisory Committee and Iraqi experts in all areas of energy.
