Popular Post Adam Montana
Good morning DV, It's HUMP DAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!! Good stuff happening right now - here's the brief headlines: 1. Last week there was talk about jumping straight to the 2015 budget, and this week they are DOING it. BAM! http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/191019-the-government-sends-the-budget-2015-to-the-house-of-representatives/ 2. What's Kurdistan's biggest gripe been over the years? What has stopped them from agreeing? MONEY. Under Maliki, Baghdad screwed the Kurds every chance they got... and what's changed now that Abadi and the new GOI is in place? Things are moving, and Kurdistan just got news they are getting paid. POW!! http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/191004-zebari-announce-500-million-in-exchange-for-the-kurdistan-region/ 3. Y'all know what the HCL holdup is, right? MONEY! The Kurds have refused to agree on anything because they were not getting a fair shake (to say the least)... well, that's changing quickly and we are actually seeing the word "agreement" instead of "talks" or "negotiations". ZING!!! http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/191031-draft-standard-for-oil-and-gas-shares-up-basra-and-erbil/ We've got some good questions this week, so I'm going to jump right into them and then get back to work. yendor Adam, this might seem like a dumb question, but I've always been told that the dumbest question is the one that you don't ask. Anyhow, my question is this : Is there ANY difference in value of un-circulated Dinar as compared to crumpled up old circulated Dinar at cash-in ? That's a good question! Here's the scoop - the CBI currently states that they actually have the right to deny accepting any notes with even the slightest flaw... so if they were to do that, a note that's crumpled, soiled, ripped, or otherwise "destroyed" could be rejected. However... it's not likely that they will be that harsh, as it would undermine their goal with an RV - to increase their money's value and also their "worth" in the world as the major leaders see them. They also "reserve the right" to refuse ANY currency from outside of Iraq, which is where we get the occasional lopster using that as "evidence" that an RV is impossible. The fact of the matter is that Iraq does need the support of the world to be successful, and I'm not worried about them refusing our notes as long as they are in decent condition. Now, if your dinars have been ran over by a skid steer, left outside in a mud puddle, and taped back together a couple times... you might have a problem! geographer Good morning Adam, I read an article about the FED Launches QE4 through Tokyo - currency reset and new gold standards. It is my understanding that this will be a negative effect and cause systemic failure. Will this have an effect on our investment? Will it make Iraq move more swiftly? Sorry geographer, you have to give me a link! Otherwise I'm just grasping at straws. HBO Hi Adam. If HCL is approved,do they necessarily have to wait until Budget 2015 is approved before they can RV their currency? With current situation, is it true that the lower oil price will force them to RV their currency ASAP? Nope! They won't be "forced" to do anything, and they can RV with or without a current "budget"... but I strongly believe that when they do make that announcement, there will already be an approved budget ready to go waiting only on the CBI's rate to be plugged in. denster When the oil revenues are shared with the people,do they have to rv's first, What is your take. I think they will RV first in order to keep the majority of the money. Candy01 Adam, I just read today that Parliament is now off until Tuesday, 11/25! They will only work until the end of this month and take next month off as usual. So, if things DON'T get done by the end of November, is the RV going to be February or March of next year? Thanks Much! I wouldn't put too much stock in the dates you read - just because they are "off" doesn't mean they aren't still working and won't put together the deals that need to be put together. You have to realize that Iraq IS a corrupt country, and backroom deals are ESSENTIAL to progress in that culture. waitingondinar Adam, We have been watching Iraq for the past several years go through the motions of forming laws and remaking their country. Doesn't it seem like they are reinventing the wheel? The country was plunged into poverty and chaos a little over a decade ago. Today, they are moving forward with solid plans and excellent progress. Maybe they are "reinventing the wheel", but I believe they are doing exactly what they need to do to regain their former strength and status. fred5688 Adam I keep reading that the HCL is done and then it isn't done. When it is really done, what other laws need to be passed before we see a RV. I know you don't have a crystal ball, but how long will this go on before we see an RV? Thanks for all your work Hey Fred! Actually, NO laws have to be passed to RV - the CBI could do it today if they wanted to. But they aren't going to do it until the HCL is done because they need that revenue engine firing on all cylinders in order to sustain the rate they choose. Without the HCL, Iraq is only running on a few cylinders. new york kevin Sir Adam: What up G? Q: With the article yesterday on our site here that stated the Iraqi citizens will each get a share of the oil profits, though no percentages or figures or start dates were given, can YOU/US now say that the HCL law was passed and inacted? As I understood it that benefit was part of the HCL Law? Kindly clarify where I am right or wrong. A big DV thanks to you and crew. NYK - HCL is not passed as of this moment, but the article you referenced is nothing but good. RodandStaff Adam...I have been wondering sir if the Packers can make it three games with 50+ points in a row? That, and who is gonna bring the cheese curds to Belize post RV? The rest of us not physically living in WIsconsin can arrange to bring the wine and beer!!! Sorry TG if that is off post a little....I know it's guys like me who make you go... I'll take responsibility for the curds GO PACK GO! Francie26 We may have to buy the wine and beer over there. I have never tried to take any into a foreign country, but I think I read that they frown on trying to import bottles without paying their duties on them. Am I wrong? If so I would like to bring my share, but I don't want to buy it and then just have to hand it over to a customs inspector. haha I agree - we will probably buy that stuff down there. But there's no way they will have fresh squeaky cheese... lucky for us, I know of a foolproof way to get things into the country. Cheese included. cashman54 Adam, I know you have mentioned this before but I could not remember what you said. Let's say the rate comes out at like 10 cents or a dollar. While I know you are not a financial advisor, would it be foolish to cash in all your dinars in at once, or could you maybe do a majority at first and then hold back maybe 25% to see what the rate becomes...the reason I ask is because I've also heard rumors that the cash in window will be limited in terms of time. Thanks for pointing out I'm not an advisor - while I'm qualified to be one, I'm not acting as one - everyone's situation is different, and there's not many things that are "one size fits all" in the investment world. There's a couple things to address in your post. The rate. If it comes out at a dollar or higher, I am 100% OUT. Some people may wait for it to rise, and I do think that eventually it will hit $3+... but I hold enough dinar that I don't need to hold out for more than a buck to accomplish my future goals. If it comes out around a dime, like I believe it will, then my strategy will depend on the cash in window. I believe it will be no less than 90 days, and up to two years. But there's another variable as well - will it be pegged or will it float based on the market? I can see valid reasons for doing either of those, so I've worked with experts to create strategies based on both scenarios. Another thing to consider - the stability of the country at that time, and how the world reacts to it. Again, I've spent YEARS working with experts on plans to handle every imaginable situation, and I'm confident that no matter how it comes out - I've prepared for it, and I won't be caught off guard. All that planning, strategizing, and professional guidance is what's available to the VIP members here. Anyone that's not in it should definitely give it at least a 3 month trial! And on that note, my calendar is dinging at me like crazy... apparently I have work to do. Have a great day everyone, and GOOOOO RRRRVVVVVVV!!!!!!!!! - Adam

Sandfly Adam....Nothin' beats squeaky cheese...esp. with a beer!!! Just gotta ask...your fullprood method of gettin' em in the country wouldn't involve sneaking em in your swim suit would it???
