I was reading about it today in the news. Get out your checkbook for another tax in 2014. Apparently, you will have to pay an extra 1% of your total income to the IRS if you don't carry any health insurance (which I don't right now since I can't afford it and my company doesn't provide it). I guess the wealthy won't feel it much, just the working class and people on fixed incomes (like dinarians. ). Maybe the dinar will Rv before then and we won't have to worry about health care costs and taxes.

Anyway, it's a no-brainer to see that politicians through the years have been methodically bankrupting the U.S. economy and citizenry with laws and expenses, bit by bit, measure by measure (hey, half a penny tax on tobacco and tea, no big deal...). Every politician makes his/her mark somehow in this respect. Costs seem to keep rolling and getting worse while these folk enjoy the high life (*By the way, did you catch the news today where Hillarious Clinton has set a "frequent-flier record" as Secretary's of State by touching down in her 100th country? I wonder how much these working vacations have cost the tax payers. What is this anyway, "Around the world in 80 days"? I can hear it now, "I can't speak with this person over the phone or through emails, fire up the jet, I'm heading to Spain this week." Think of us the next time you touch down in Russia for some vacant chat and beluga caviar, Hill. Ah well, Nero fiddled as Rome burned, so why not trek around the world and enjoy fine dining while old folk in the U.S. eat cat food because they can't pay a bill.
