PD46
Thanks for the post DRV1804. Wouldn't I have loved to have been a fly on the wall listening to the conversation between Moon and Maliki. I suspect the details were worked out after that meeting. I don't want to speculate and say we are home free. Things appear to be looking great though for getting us over the 7 hump. And when I say guru I'm not referring to Adam. I certainly do not lump him in with the rest of those clowns.

fastarnie
Great find DRV, the only thing that gets me is Maliki is in no position to demand anything. Iraq is a small fish, so of course they're no threat. I think he might have begged a little, but demand NO I don't think so. I hope this will turn out to be positive news, however with the U.N. extending thier commitee another year we shall see. Go Iraq, Go Rv
Kittykins
I can't stop looking at the photo of Maliki... He looks just like Mr. Spacely from the Jetsons.
Carrello
Not. Protection extended for a year http://another site.wordpress.com/2011/07/28/security-council-extends-un-mission-in-iraq-by-another-year/ UNAMI was extended for another year. This has nothing to do with Chapter 7. It is a humanitarian issue.
