I would not put sonny1 in any category other than a member, I think we all mean well (most of the REAL members). I would also hope that people share what they hear and come across. I can remember several years ago my mom (works for very large law firm that specializes in tax law) told me that the feds were looking at offshore banks connected to money laundering involving dinar etc. Now I put this out on another forum and although it was true, the part about the dinar being worth more in the near future hasn't come to pass. I got quite a bit of flack on that one, my source was my mom. lol Just saying, sometimes things don't work out.

Nobody's predictions about the iraqi dinar revaluation have come true--ever. Can't we all just admit that we're not likely going to get rich in the next day or week or year with this "investment" and move on with our lives? If it happens, it happens. IMO - They have different motives and claim a RV every Mon-Wed-Sunday and that is not what Sonny1 is doing!

Iraq's do things different than what we do and dates mean nothing to them!

Nope. You're wrong. He stated the 3 week time range exactly 3 weeks ago... A few days ago he only reconfirmed his prediction and again indicated the July 5th date for RV

Very well, I apollogize for being incorrect on the time I stated sonny1 had claimed his RV time margin I had only seen his most recent post. I really don't pay attention to where and what the guy posts, but he made it sound like this was his first claim to the new date.

Now that, that is hopefully cleared up my first statment was more geared towards trying to diffuse another bash thread, not defend sonny1's words. And it actually seems like most people are actually having productive things to say in this thread, which personally I find refreshing to see.

If you truly consider yourself an investor, then comments or predictions made by anyone claiming to have information should not bother you one way or another. The very nature of the word invest means to WAIT over time for a POTENTIAL and HOPEFUL return. So if you have the mind set that in time your investment will pan out what are you worried about? Why would it matter what anyone tells you? Sonny1 is an analyst or is of an opinion for this investment. He is not the man that pulls the strings or that initiates the return for you.

So really the problem isn't anyone's other than YOUR own perception. If you treat what someone says as a fun notion that you hope leads to your return that would be fine (investor's perspective). If you take info in as gospel no matter how matter-of-fact they sound then you will only bring your heart agony (gambler's perspective).

So ask yourself.... ARE YOU AN INVESTOR OR A GAMBLER? I would suggest you put this investment in a long term frame of mind and if it happens faster then that would be awesome. If you do that then I promise you that you will not care what others predict if it should not come to pass.

Drox really enjoyed your post. I find it hard to believe that smart people think this thing can just happen overnight. Iraq has been in the crosshairs for many years. They are a very proud nation. They have had to accept help. Not to their liking!! Many people on here spend way more time looking up info than I do. I appreciate those that bring good info. But, I just wait and watch. News anywhere, even here, is all slanted according to the reporter. Makes it harder to understand in a language you don't understand. Even with the translate. This thing might tank, but the world won't stop turning, so tomorrow is another day. Might happen, who knows?
