Hi JBrookes, I like you point of view. I try to go by some rules that I set up as my own standard. Here are some questions and thoughts one might want to ask before publishing a new post or adding to an existing thread. 1. Who are you listening to? (is it source, 2nd, 3rd or more links away?) 2. What are the facts? 3. Pin down the evidence. (screen shot and website link - This is already the point where in most cases you can debunk the news) 4. What is the credibility of the source? 5. Does the source have a history of knowing about the topic? Last, 6. I for myself will sometimes chime in for entertainment value as well. If most everyone would follow these simple suggestions, "pumpers" would not get much response. Hi rjboots, I totally agree on the chilling. I have been studying some of the threads as this one and been amused by the human natures displayed - as you do and am amazed as to what the "Theme Dinar and RV" gets hijacked to. Most people do not pay enough attention to the real tangible facts. Many prefer to run off on some bunny trail for hours at end. Makes me think that people have nothing better to do. As far as the spelling goes, I always get a laugh out of the ones who critique anyone else. How about creating score cards on spelling etc. I am sure that one would find folks that think it would be a good idea. Correcting others is judging and actually backfires rather than does any good. Just reflect on it as being a manual after post spell checker. In a way it is fascinating to watch the different characters. One could almost write a movie around all these stories. At least we have one thing that glues us all together - In the end we all agree on .......... Go go go RRRRRRRRRRVVVVVVVVVVVVV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is why the vets say: "If it is not coming from the horses mouth? - Then it is not real" Applying the above would save us all a lot of time from sorting through invalid information. I for my part want to get the stuff with the real meat.

No you are not blind. Here is a quick recoup of the facts and the time-lines how they occurred. Kikki found the listing (see first picture added) from the Doha Bank, called and it was verified. At the same time, while it was long past opening hours at early afternoon on Tuesday 1-11-11 (1:00 PM) in Iraq, the CBI still had the listing of the previous day of 1-10-11 (see second picture) This changed at about 1:00 PM (see third picture) These things happening at the same time can get the speculation going. Earlier in this thread I had offered my opinion that the Doha Bank might know more. There are two possibilities: 1. They are trying to buy the Dinar at a lower rate than what will be the official RV-rate. Iraq (CBI) is also not selling any IQD, so this is an open invitation to speculation. If you would have offered 1 billion IQD they might have bought your IQD's. (that is why they have no spread and are only putting out 0.1 instead of the usual 0.1XXX) 2. They are probing the market on behalf of whoever is behind this effort to see what the market response is. So I would be careful with any criticism unless you have read the whole story. I apologize if I missed something but I am willing to learn and open for further education. Thank you all who are doing constructive / substantiated posts.

I would like to add that the fact that there is no spread, indicates that they are not expecting or willing to sell IQD at all. They are solely expecting people to offer to sell their IQD's to the Bank.

Agreed with reservations. The Doha Bank might be the bait and is testing the waters. The reactions then might be used to do an estimation where to start the official RV-rate. This is just a small WAG and has NO Background. Just my opinion.

At the bottom it says "Indicative rates - 10.01.2011" sorry the picture did not upload Here is the picture I think they are scratching their heads right now which rate they should put up for the first time. Lots of responsibility behind it.

Hi Kikki, Thanks for the clarification. the CBI rates displayed are today are still from 1-10-11 so a day old. We will see what it is when they officially open their doors. Here is a thought that just crossed my mind. Please excuse if I did not catch this in another place of this thread or a different thread. The owners of the Doha Bank know what is coming and they are offering to buy the IQD at this specific rate for their own speculation. This would be an indication that they possibly know more than most everyone else knows and they are willing to take the risk. It could also be describes as a form of probing to see how the market responds. As Adam has pointed out, we as individuals have very little in comparison to what is at stake in the big picture. I will be waiting longer as this is most likely only a precursor to what I want to see and that is 0.95256 instead of the 0.1 Go RV go

Ladies and Gentlemen, I looked at the link and it is my personal opinion that it is to be taken with real caution. It only has one digit indicated instead of 4 or five digits. As a result there is no spread displayed - so no difference between buying and selling. This leaves only one conclusion to me - Trading with Dinar is on a hold with this bank. This might mean that there might something happening behind the scenes that most everyone else is not aware of. CBI has not changed its display of the IQD since a couple of weeks, which is more important in my eyes. Does anyone have a screen shot of yesterdays value of the Kuwait Dinar to Iraq Dinar on the Doha Bank site? So far no clear evidence, but who knows the date is 1-11-11 - and might as well be our lucky day. Go RV go

Hi Kingfish, It is not all that easy. Don't forget that we are literally "piggy back" riding on the intentions of this Corporation named USA Inc. They have an allotment of (I might be wrong) 3 trillion ID that they want to turn around as well. They are allowing us to do it as well, because they are figuring that we will pay our taxes, in which they will get another share (up to 50%) by default. So it is a win win situation as well. On top, all those people that will get rich at the same time will have other interests than to go after the corrupt government, so this will be kind of the passive silencing money for the few who made a good slice on it. Be honest to yourself - will you pursue and stand up for the poor once you have amassed this huge amount of wealth, getting busy to start to spend and protect it from the rest of the world? Most people will be overwhelmed by the amounts at hand and like most Lottery millionaires, 95% of the folks will have lost it again in the next 5 to 10 years. It is the statistics that show the truth about this. If you do not want to fall in under the 95%, you want to be prepared and get the correct mindset going. I am doing this by educating myself. I am doing this through the Global Information Network (GIN).
