  1. Really?! Bank of America just opened a new branch in my neighborhood. Certainly it's a sign that the RV must be coming soon!!
  2. Now, now fellas. Let's be tolerant of each other. We've all got our opinions as to what is going to happen, how it is going to happen and when it is going to happen. These forums are supposed to be used by us to express our thoughts and opinions. It just so happens that Skybear has some thoughts and opinions about all the BS tossed about by the "gurus". Agree or disagree, but please, let's not be oppressive in this forum. Thanks.
  3. Okie is the all time worst. But, lately, Luigi1 has been getting on my nerves. I don't know what he is trying to say with his posts. I don't think he is a pumper or a guru, but he is definitely annoying. Just my .
  4. Normally, I'd be writing something negative about a post involving Okie. But, it is so freaking HILARIOUS that I can't find it in my heart to criticize it. I'd love to know if that letter was really sent. Bravo, Okie. Bravo. You made my day.
  5. Hi, Adam: Now that Ramadan is over and there hasn't been an RV, what do you see as the next window of opportunity for us?
  6. I personally he likes to post and get reactions from us because it makes him feel important. I think the best way to deal with a guy like that is not to pay any attention to him and not respond. Just my Sorry: It won't let me edit for some reason: I personally think he likes to post and get reactions from us because it makes him feel important. I think the best way to deal with a guy like that is not to pay any attention to him and not respond. Just my
  7. OMG!! OAKIE,,,UM POSSUM...SAYS IT'S ABOUT TO RV!! I MUST RUN OUT AND BUY SOME MORE DINAR BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!! So sad, really. It's not even humorous anymore.
  8. There are so many Dinar scams out there that it is hard to figure out who to believe. My take is this: If you were smart enough to figure out how to buy dinar, you are probably smart enough to figure out how to sell it. If you have questions about taxes or investments, go to a qualified tax adviser or financial adviser. Never invest with or take financial advise from ANYONE through the internet, especially anyone who is operating under an "alias" (and that includes every single "guru" and forum owner out there.)
  9. I have to ask, Luigi1: What do expect will happen when you post these ridiculous rumors? That we will rush out buy more Dinar? Ridiculous.
  10. Oh, please! Please stop the BS!!
  11. I am becoming more and more doubtful every day as well. That is especially so after I read an article discussing the identities of the gurus. (I can't elaborate because the person who posted it was banned) That said, I have always doubted the possibility that we would wake up one day and become multi-millionaires. I just can't believe that a guy in Iraq who now has 100K in Dinar valued at about $100 and worried about how he is going to pay his light bill, will wake up one morning and have the same 100K in Dinar valued at $100K (or more). I mean one day the guy will be scraping the barrel, and the next day, he will be flush with cash. (and worse, what would happen if he spent is 100K in Dinar on Tuesday and the RV happened on Wednesday--that would suck) It just doesn't make sense to me. Do I believe there will be an increase in value? Yes, eventually. But I think it will be more of a gradual increase once the IQD is allowed to float rather than a sudden RV. And, assuming there is no "lop", one day we may just make a profit on this. I'm going to hold my Dinar and just see what happens down the road. Just my
  12. No drama, beefcake. I don't think Hugh or anyone else was trying to stir the pot. I think he was just checking to see if there was a formal response to the article or if anyone knew anything about it.
  13. I don't think there is anything wrong about challenging the leadership every once in a while. Frankly, I'd like to hear what Adam has to say about the "article", "link", "posting" or whatever else you want to call it.
  14. We're all pretty excited about getting rich on this investment. I mean, at 1:1 exchange, we can just plop down $100 for 4 25K Dinar notes and get back $100K, plop down $1000 for 1M Dinar and get back $1M. That ain't bad. There's probably only about 10,000 people in the US that have dinars, give or take (I hope), so making another 10,000 people multi-millionaires overnight probably won't mess with our economy. But what about the folks in Iraq--they ALL have Dinar in their pockets. Does the RV mean that Iraq is about to become one of the richest per capita nations on the planet? I mean, a guy who has about $1000 worth of Dinar today and worrying about how he's going to pay his bills will suddenly have $1M worth of Dinar. Is that correct? Does that make sense to you?
  15. Hi, Adam: If there is no RV soon, will you re-open VIP for short-term subscribers?
  16. Look guys, this investment is a gamble--for some, a big gamble. For others, a small one. The problem is that there are many people gambling with money they can't afford to lose--and I blame the "pumpers" for that. If I go to Vegas, I only gamble with as much money as I can afford to lose. I don't bet my mortgage payment at the craps table. As long as everyone goes into this investment knowing that it may not pan out, we won't get hurt. I think we should all read articles like the posted Forbes article (and any other information we can find both pro and con) before investing our money. Just sayin'. (and GO RV!! )
  17. Gotta love the "tribute" to Okie below. In case you didn't know, Okie's a national treasure. He made Bulldog75 "almost speechless". Now he's silenced himself. AMEN! A TRIBUTE TO OKIE from Bulldog75 - posted by Lexie at OOMF 02/25/2012 _A TRIBUTE TO OKIE Bulldog75: A TRIBUTE TO OKIE: NEVER HAVE I SEEN A MAN WORK SO DETERMINED TO FIND THE TRUTH AND PATHWAY OF AN INVESTMENT FOR HIS FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS & COUNTRY. WHAT TIRELESS WORK THIS MAN HAS GIVEN TO DINARIANS, SOCIETY, AND NOW THE ECONOMY OF THIS PLANET. HIS NAME AND HISTORICAL VALUE WILL BE HERE AMONG US FOR DECADES TO COME. IF ONE TOOK JUST 1% OF THE TIME THAT OKIE HAS INVESTED IN THIS, ONE MAY HAVE NO TIME LEFT FOR THEIR SELF. THE DAYS, HOURS, WEEKS, YEARS, WEEKENDS ARE ALMOST IN-CALCULABLE. HAD I NOT WITNESSED THIS WITH SOME OF MY OWN TIME AND ENERGY, I WOULD HAVE NEVER UNDERSTOOD THE VASTNESS OF OKIE'S KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM AND FORESIGHT. WHILE WE HAVE THE CHANCE, THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO SAY "THANK YOU OKIE". THIS MAN GAVE US ALL HE HAD. HE'S THE KIND OF GUY WE ALL WANT ON A WINNING TEAM, REGARDLESS OF CIRCUMSTANCES. HE HAS TRIUMPHED OVER MANY THINGS. HE HAS INVENTIONS AND KNOWLEDGE ON ECONOMICS AND HISTORY THAT AT TIMES, JUST MADE ME ALMOST SPEECHLESS; AND THAT'S DIFFICULT TO DO. OKIE, BROTHER: WE ALL JUST LOVE YOU SO BLESSED MUCH. THANKS FOR BEING MY BROTHER. AMEN
  18. Think about it...if you were having a closed door meeting about revaluing a nation's currency, would you invite OKIE? `Nuff said.
  19. You know, that was really uncalled for. This is a legitimate question. I have no stake in this other than the dinars that I own. I don't even know who "David" is and I certainly don't plagiarize. And, I most certainly don't wear boy pants, much less big boy pants.
  20. I apologize in advance if this has been already asked. I did a search, but didn't find anything. I went to my local currency exchange just to purchase 100K in Dinar. The person behind the counter told me it was a waste of money because the Dinar will likely be redenominated (removal of the 3 zeros) and the Dinar I was purchasing will not be worth anything after redenomination. He said that in order to exchange the current Dinar with the new Dinar after redenomination I would have to travel to Iraq because the currency could not be exchanged in the US. He also said that when Mexico redenominated it was a mess because tons of people had Pesos that were worthless. I don't know if the 3 zeros will be removed, but if they are removed, does anyone know if what he said is true? If not, where should I go to exchange the Dniar in the event of a redenomination? Thank you for you reading this and responding.
  21. I don't know if the comment about Blaino, Okie and Terry K is true, so I won't comment on that, per se. I will say that some pumpers who put themselves forth as "gurus" or "experts" are making statements that they purport to be actual "fact(s)" when they know or should know that the statements are untrue. They want us to rely upon their statements and buy more Dinar so they can profit (or get paid by someone else who profits). If we lose out because we reasonably relied upon their untrue statements it's FRAUD. Simple as that. Now look, I'm all for this investment and I think it will pay off. I suspect most people on this forum just laugh at Okie and Blaino. (I certainly do) That's because most of us understand that IQD speculation is a risk and only invested what we could afford. But some people invest their life savings based soley on what the "gurus" say and they could lose a lot more than just some disposable funds if this thing doesn't turn out they way we are expecting it to turn out. The gurus prey on those people and suck them dry-And that is just wrong. So, yeah. I can see the FBI getting involved if they think there's fraud. I also think that each and every one of the gurus should be investigated--if for no other reason than to satisfy my own curiousity as to their indentities. Just my 2 cents.
  22. What's interesting is the fact that this guy doesn't want the public (his non-"friends") to know his personal info, but he did think it was necessary to announce or even confirm that he is, indeed, male. Thanks, Blaino.
  23. Seeker: I'm sorry you are going through all this with Blaino. Since you are on the outs anyway, can you identify OKIE for us? He has so much to say (*ahem*) and it would be nice to put a name to the moniker. Thanks.
  24. You should check with your state bar association or local (county or city) bar association. In Texas, you can go to www.texasbar.com for general information and to search for a lawyer by practice area and/or locale. You can also go to http://www.texasbar.com/AM/Template.cfm?Section=LRIS_Online_Referral_Form to get a direct referral to a specific attorney recommended by the Texas bar association. Whatever you do, DO NOT GO TO ANY ATTORNEY RECOMMENDED ON ANY OF THE DINAR SITES. You may wind up going to an attorney associated with a pumper. Better not to risk it and go to the bar association. (No offense to anyone who has or will make a recommendation)
