keylime
Keylime...thanks for the post and for the follow ups. In the future, for everyone, it would be a great idea to do exactly what Keylime did and keep us informed regularly on any important info regarding a rumor. Too many just blurt out a pumpers line and it leads to all the distasteful, immature, and inappropriate comments that a long standing member of our forums should never have to endure. Key, I give you kudos for not losing your cool and getting to the bottom of things, but it showed everyone that they shouldn't deliver a pizza and forget to put on the mushrooms because it'll get thrown back in your face, no matter how tasty it might still be. Well said Mudster. I too know the frustrations of rumors that don't pan out which has been exactly ALL of them! But I don't hit and run. I want this as much as anyone else and am willing to do the legwork to find out if something is true or not. Sometimes you just can't verify until time does. today we will know about the Forex rumors. Tuesday we will know if we can cash out and if not then we take it in stride and keep on hoping and digging and reading and praying. What I do know is back in 2003 when Iraq was a bombed out shell of a country somebody or some entity invested a lot of money to print the dinars we hold, and must have had a plan to not only recoup their investment but make a lot more, and add the crude oil to "sweeten" the pot. Iraq wasn't in the position to do it. Heck they aren't in it even now. So this is being orchestrated from on "high". We are all just riding the coat tails. And I for one am enjoying the ride. Rates and dates are for speculation. Cashing out is the Cherry on this Sundae. Do we have a bank name yet? I posted the woman's follow up email on page 4 of this thread. 1

Carloshz09
Ok I have a friend who actually works in Dubai, I just hit her up and she went to a money changer she said that they are exchanging 1 dinar for 2 dirams and 3.8 dirams is worth 1 U.S dollar, that doesn't sound like 3+ dollars. If someone can do the math I think that is just a little under a dollar. That is at this time which is 6:38pm sandbox time.
tjmunson
My friend calls me and tells me she just got off the phone with her good friend who verified two of her friends just cashed in in Dubai at 3.10. They would have gotten more but did not want to open an account and leave their money there. Read more: Is Kevin Bacon involved in there anywhere. LOL. Great post. One day soon we're gonna hit the jackpot. Why not today. I hear Dubai is lovely this time of year. Thanks very much for the post. Peace and love!
Carloshz09
The guy that is exchanging them is: Al gghurair exchange I am still chatting with my friend and she says they aren't exchanging them straight to US but first to dirams then dirams to US, but same difference to me. No bashing since this is a friend of mine that has no reason to lie or even knows anything about this investment.
Mudster
just checked alghurauexchange.com and the current rate for IQD is about 300 IQD per dirham and about 3.6 dirham per USD, for what it's worth...those were round off amounts, not exact Edited January 16, 2011 by Mudster

JayLee202
Yeah, yeah. First of all, I have been on this website for over a year and have never posted any cash in rumors. You can read any one of my posts. So I do have a history of NOT spreading prevarications. NOW, to what I heard. And yes this is like adding a log to the "cash in" rumor fire, and I wouldn't even it give it a second thought if it wasn't for the person who called me and told me. She introduced me to this investment over a year ago. This woman would not make this up. It would be like my mother lying to me. And she wouldn't. So...... My friend calls me and tells me she just got off the phone with her good friend who verified two of her friends just cashed in in Dubai at 3.10. They would have gotten more but did not want to open an account and leave their money there. I know this runs contrary to Adam's chat that I actually just read before my friend called me so my excitement was tempered but because I have known my friend for years and know the kind of person she is, I have to give this story as much weight or more. My hestitation in competely swallowing it, is that I don't know the friend who called her. But she does and swears by her. So there you have it. Again this is my first ever rumor post of a cash in, and I am not a newbie. I have educated myself for over a year on this, and have followed it everyday(literally). IF....and I do mean "IF" this is true, then perhaps we are days away. GOD Bless, and hold on just a little while longer, either way. LOL Where we go again. A friend of a friend who knows two friends LOL Ya'll just don't get enough huh?

I will be in Dubai on this Friday and can check this out first hand if you will give me the bank contact information. I have dinar with me so I could test the waters so to speak. Please get me this information or put me in touch with your friends there in Dubai. I am currently in Afghanistan and will be passing though Dubai on Friday on the way to Europe for a vacation. Tom Anyone else want to fly to Dubia? Lol I do wish it were TRUE. If Adam's intel is correct, we may juat need to wait a week, if not, oh well, I get to keep waiting. I am going to be in Dubai Friday so if they tell me the bank I will go and try a cash in myself.
Happy Man
What bank in Dubai? Maybe its the whole thing of having read that kind of rumors so many times in the weeks. Why cant people find out all justifications before posting, Things that can be verified like bank name and why not producing a banking slip showing up the déposit. I would ask that much before producing any info in here. if it cant be produced it can only lead to false informations. I didnt say lie or pumping info. Vs verified info that anyway doesnt belong in the rumor section.

Ohioguy
Here is the definition of the word "rumor": "The a story or statement in general circulation without confirmation or certainty as to facts" When I read the "rumor section" of this site I expect to read about rumors. It's not a rumor if validation is provided. I'm amused at everyone who shouts out, "Provide the link." or " It's a lie". I have to chuckle whenever everyone gets up in arms whenever someone posts a "rumor" in the "rumor section". LOL Thanks, Keylime for the rumor!

Soldiering4U
I come from Dubai, I was born in Bahrain. I want u all to know that all this rumors from kuwait, jordan or dubai are all false & carry no meaning whatsoever. My whole family lives in and around the middle east. I'm so tired & so disturbed about the whole rumor section, when people post , without even thinking of the impact people will have. There are so many stories of the people who have invested & they are all so anxious & wishing . So plz this is my humble request to all (terry, Possum) . Stay away from the rumors & watch the real news. If u cant watch the real news then read all the posts which the moderators post , but plz leave your experiences with yours banks relatives & your superiors behind thank u all & god bless Read more: http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/50529-i-come-from-dubai/#ixzz1BDf3z1Cs check this out on another thread since you all wanna give me - this guy is telling you the same thing I was this person's friend of a friend is lying
umbertino
Okay. This is an excerpt from my friends email. To be honest I don't know if it's her friend who knows these people or not. She says they are her friends, so I would say they are. Any way this is what I got as far as a follow up email from her. From these I would still say we can't verify or debunk. Dubai I know a guy who has cashed-in in Dubai a couple days ago at 3.22, and I am not expecting anyone to believe me. He owns his own bank, and a very powerful man, that is all I will say. It is definitely around corner for us in the U.S. Peace & Blessings. __________________ REACHIGH! I also know and HAVE known for more than 30-years a VERY good personal friend and businessman in Dubai who has ALSO cashed-in there at a bank. He called me IMMEDIATELY after he did so yesterday (Thursday). He received also in excess of $3.00! In addition to his OWN cashing-in, his business partner (who is a Jordanian) cashed-in with his corporate account at the Islamic Bank of Jordan in Amman and actually TOOK IT ALL OUT immediately in US Dollars at $3.10! He said the Jordanian bank was at this time ONLY allowing Jordanian citizens with corporate accounts to do so, however. He said his conversion would have been HIGHER if he had agreed to LEAVE IT on account for 4 months. My business friend said his bank officer told him it would be several weeks morebefore this was going to be done on a world-wide basis. But it sure looks like it is coming eventually! REACHIGH! Just talked to my friend in Dubai. He doesn't own a jet, but he does travel throughout the ME and Korea with his construction company. He has not cashed-in any more of his dinar since yesterday, but has a lot more with him. He actually purchased them HERE in the US from a company in Boston while he was on a business trip last summer, and took them home with him to the UAE when he returned. His business partner got all his in Florida from a US currency supplier, and had them sent by a courier to him in Dubai. He turned-in all he had when he took them to Amman 2 days ago. All he had was 11-million, all in 25,000 notes. My friend in Dubai who turned in his said nobody put his dinar through any machine when he turned them in. Well that's the skinny. I wish there was more. Un-believable meaning non-believable I do believe that people are cashing out. I don't. So many desperate people believing these silly pumpers. Do you really think the RV would happen in another country before Iraq? Fools!!!!!!!!!! EXACTLY (AMONG MANY OTHER ODDITIES) Ok. I've done some of my own research. And this is how I piece this together. My friend calls me and says her friend tells her about two friends cashing out in Dubai. Her friend then emails her the info I put up on page 4. I have just gone over to KTF and seen those two things posted by two others under rumors. So I think her friend copied and pasted this and sent it to her and she was so excited over what she read she called her and told her "two people cashed in Dubai". And my friend took it as she was telling her that they were her two friends that did the cashing in. Now I am not saying it is not her two friends because I don't know who she knows. But definitely two different people posted that they know these people. So....take them as rumors and until we see the RV on FOREX, nothing is concrete. NOTHING!!!!! Well, all I can say that's fuxxxng crazy and kinda dis-honest of your friend's friend to do so....And I may add...... AS EXPECTED. I live here and check the banks and currency dealers daily. IT DID NOT HAPPEN! Thanks Man.....Appreciated...... Again.... As expected. Edited January 17, 2011 by umbertino 2

KramerDinar
Still would like to know if people in Dubai were cashing in, how were they notified. Was a sticky note posted to their door or an ice cream truck drive by yelling RV? There was nothing on the news and would imagine if there on people on this board living there and they did not hear anything that chances are nothing is happening.
