  1. What ever bank you trade them in at you should be able to do a wire transfer to your bank, this way you wont have to worry about going anywhere with your cash, just your dinars.
  2. ROFLMAO!!! Im with you brother, you need to take it out not in. lol
  3. We got an email this morning in country stating that not that it has been stopped but that the process where it use to take 48 hours is now going to take 15 to 21 days. This is for all US and British citizens. But.. The USG will be addressing this situation with the GOI, until then for all personnel that are due back within the next two weeks you will need to contact them; if they do not already have an Entry Visa the only alternative for entry back into Iraq is through Kuwait International Airport utilizing Gryphon Air; They can go on the website and arrange a ticket, the flights from Kuwait to Sather are every Wednesday, Friday & Sunday; fare is around $605.00. Just an FYI, though you will fly into the civilian side. Hope this helps.
  4. You got a plus for having the guts to post it and also even if it's not true you still posted it in the right section so "IT"S ALL GOOD!!!!" lol You got a plus 1 from me brother.
  5. Brother im in the sandbox in Baghdad and asking the same question, let it hit so we can get back to civilization already..lol
  6. I believe that it's an investment that you either look at the facts, just like stock, bonds, property a business or anything else, then make an informed decision on. You invest what you can, if it pans out great, if it doesn't you move on. Do you tell the world of your other investments? Then why should you tell them of this one. Yes this one is different, but some people don't and never will invest in anything, they rather stay where they are, where it's safe and everything, everyday stays the same without taking a chance on anything. Life is about chances and risk, there is a big difference in taking fool hardy chances, educated chances or risk and not taking any at all. I have heard that the wealthiest people are those that have decided to take risk, not all of them as risky as others, but never the less risk, some safer than others, but still risk...those that remain risk free may never experience the rush and blessing of a venture gained. But is that on us to judge them for it, I say nah, pray that one day, when and if it does take place, that they will see it as a beginning to take a chance on something other than the colors of their new shoes, the new meal they are going to try out, the new movie they are going to see or the different route they are going to take on their way to work or going back home. So, if the person you are sharing it with or thinking about sharing it with has never invested in anything prior to this or are pessimist to begin with, they will more than likely give you plenty of reasons not to invest and then find even more reasons to give you, why you shouldn't invest yourself. I'm just saying. Some words are better left unsaid.
  7. Ok so now we know the old saying, "A billion people just can't be wrong", heck yeah the dang fortune cookies are awesome.
  8. Thanks for the post hurricanewayne, and you posted it in the right section, there should be no bashing, thus the heading "Dinar Rumors", if people don't want to read rumors just facts, then they shouldn't even come into this section. Just show some love that's all. And if it does hit at $3.40 that would be great and when it does, some people that will have a couple of millions will be pretty ugly people and money won't be able to change them, just maybe make them worst to be around and that my dear is a shame.
  9. You and me both brother. But I really can't see them putting a time limit on turning them in like 30 days, I would think at least a year or so.
  10. That is an awesome picture. I've seen it a couple of times when I was in the Navy on the U.S.S America aircraft carrier, the F14's & 18's would do it all the time when we were in the middle of no where. But the pilots don't see it because it happens so suddenly and it happens behind them once the engines break it, but they do hear it. Most of them told me it's like having a subwoofer right behind you and the base turned up really loud. It's like a big bomb in their chest. The first time I heard it, I was in the hanger deck fresh out of boot camp, me and a friend hit the deck thinking we were being attacked because the whole aircraft carrier shook. It was pretty sick. It's what made me join the navy when I saw top gun. lol Thanks for the memories.
  11. Dude, I nearly peed my pants when the link opened up, I knew it would be something off the wall!!! ROFLMAOSMFMN (spilling milk from my nose) lol That's a classic.
  12. What up big MOE. Yeah we have a couple of hajee shops here too and the guy is pretty kewl about trading them here. Woo, hoo. It would be pretty kewl if it was tomorrow to finally get out of the sand box and to civilization. Hopefully we'll catch you in Dubai soon.
  13. The guy that is exchanging them is: Al gghurair exchange I am still chatting with my friend and she says they aren't exchanging them straight to US but first to dirams then dirams to US, but same difference to me. No bashing since this is a friend of mine that has no reason to lie or even knows anything about this investment.
  14. Ok I have a friend who actually works in Dubai, I just hit her up and she went to a money changer she said that they are exchanging 1 dinar for 2 dirams and 3.8 dirams is worth 1 U.S dollar, that doesn't sound like 3+ dollars. If someone can do the math I think that is just a little under a dollar. That is at this time which is 6:38pm sandbox time.
  15. I have a guy that just left my FOB out here in the sandbox, he should be in Dubai by tomorrow if he make it out of Baghdad international. He will be seeing first hand if it's true.
