ronscarpa
REMEMBER, no one really knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... So, take everything with a grain of salt ... RON Walkingstick The ATM machines, they're all poised like centurions that are standing there. These ATMs are guarding the lower notes. It's time for all of this to come out now. It's just the budget we are waiting for. We're not waiting for any laws, we're not waiting for any new procedures. Clare WTO Article: "FORMAL WORKING PARTY MEETINGS 2024 on 18 July 2024 - THU 18 JUL 10:00 Working Party on the Accession of Iraq" Frank26 [Iraq boots-on-the-ground report] FIREFLY: We are now hearing from our news on Channel One that Iraq has been fully accepted into the WTO. This is going to be official, July the 18th. FRANK: To join the WTO Iraq does not need a currency with value. No, that's not the point. Iraq needs a currency that has no restrictions, no handcuffs, no limitations in order for it to float on an international market - whatever the case this is very good. Let's hope this information is correct..! MarkZ Something fun popped into the news yesterday, both from banks and exchange locations in Iraq. There was a notice that they are expecting distribution of lower denomination bills in July. Both of the confirmations I received this morning from contacts on the ground inside of Iraq used the same words that they were told to expect them to distribute/disperse lower denominations in July. That tells us how stinking close we are. Why would they need these lower denominations - unless the currency is worth more? Let's hope this information is correct..! 6 2
Luigi1
What's going on, here. All the Gurus are saying the lower denoms are loaded in the new ATMs. Nobody has any proof, let alone even a cell-phone photo. 1 2
yendor
Yep! It looks like the "target date" is July the 18th. I can hardly wait to see if the next day really will be the 19th. Oh, I hope so. I would hate for it to be anything else but the 19th. 1

However, please note it only says it is a "working party" ABOUT them moving to full membership. .... so I would consider it unlikely they will become full members on July 18th. WheresmyRV?
They still have a ways to go to get full membership into the WTO. They still need to upload more files to the WTO site which they haven't done yet. I'm guessing one year for now they will be full members. There were two other countries back in February (which I can't remember their names) which sounded like they were going to be full members. To this date they still are not full members of the WTO. I believe this July 18th workshop date with the WTO is just going to be where they are checking on Iraq and their progress to gain full ascension.
cjdavid
Ah man!…I need to set the final count down clock on my phone?…again???? just take a video with your cell phone about the ATM giving out lower denominations. Then we can all believe.
hspotman
So any idea what those 'celebrations' were for today? They were supposed to be today, right?
hspotman
A friend told me the celebrations were for something about freedom of press. So looks like gurus were wrong again! So were all the Sheep... 1
