Jeff  If you're excited about the budget being approved Monday you're an uninformed investor. What that means is the rate is not changing because budgets are calculated off the value of the currency whatever it is. The budget was calculated against the dinar at 1310. The next window of opportunity that the rate could change would have to be either midyear (September or October) or the next budget period of 2025. In order for them to do that they have to suspend that year's budget monies and consider re-amending the budget.

 

Pimpy  Article: "The document..The House of Representatives votes next Monday on the budget schedules" Finally after all this time. There was a huge delay.

 

Militia Man  That vote [scheduled Monday 3:00pm Baghdad time vote on the 2024 budget tables] is prior to markets opening in the United States in New York.  Will they vote?  Will they do it?  We're going to find out.

Iraq needs to move forward.

The Budget passage will lead to other projects that will lead to the RV-RI.

Does anybody here fell we are closer if they pass the budget or is it a case of the cbi can do it anytime regardless of the budget. ? Am I correct in thinking shabbai once said best time is beginning or middle of the fiscal year ?

sadly no faith in anything or anyone in Iraq to what they should or are supposed to...they will find a way to screw it up. Odds are better that they don't pass the budget, for whatever reason, than that they do...

Shabibi suggested the beginning or middle of the fiscal year but that was only a suggestion.

I believe the RV-RI can happen at any time they get all their duckies lined up in a row.

Bettyboop  I remember Shabibi saying the best time was the beginning of fiscal year NOT the middle of year believe he had said this when he was in New York answering questions from people, JMHO

yes but there also wasn't a global currency reset....ever thought this was part of the plan all along, remember TRUMP wasn't supposed to win!

 Screwball I understand what you are saying, but I do not believe we will have a global reset. That is in peoples head that the whole world is going to fall apart.

I personally believe getting the budget passed using the current rate is good, but getting the Kurds to actually show up and agree is always the hard part.  At least it is reported that they agree on the budget, and end the end they normally don't show up to vote for it.  Maybe it will be different this time...

They have one every 30-40 years this is not the first time! So you think it will be a peaceful transition from fiat to gold back? Maybe it will I don’t know I only know what I am told by who tells me…so when everyone’s saying there’s going to be a crash banks heads, Reuters and leading economists, gold and silver prices rising and countries taking back their gold like India, but still no change?

We can only hope for a peaceful transition….my statement military is the only way and clean and swifts suggest no anarchy…..everything is planned.we will experience bank shutdowns etc almost covid like food shortages and restrictions for a brief period..that’s what I am told..

Yep 100% there are already laws and organisation in place and admiral Mike Rogers sits on the board….who is Mike Rogers! He is the former head of the NSA and was the one who went to trump tower and told him trump tower and him were under surveillance! He is a member of the q team! patriot and hero!
