To Tax Or Not To Tax...That Is The Question.

Here's an article of Dinarian interests...

MZ is full of it...we will be taxed on our exchanges.

This is a windfall profit & may be taxed up to 80%.

There was an article out last week of new tax changes coming in 2024.

Treat as a rumor.  Not verified.  Your opine.

MarkZ: via PDK.    ER Tax.

Comment:  Exchanges should not be taxed…but, be prepared.

MarkZ:  That’s the way I look at it…memo from the US State Dept. directly about Iraq…The last sentence says

“There are no taxes or subsidies on purchases or sales of foreign exchange.”  Always check with your tax professional at the appropriate time.

Here's the article from about a week ago...our investment may be taxed as windfall profit tax up to 80%...

The IRS issued Revenue Ruling 2023-2, which had a substantial impact on estate planning, particularly where an irrevocable trust is involved.

In the last decade or so, more families have begun utilizing irrevocable trusts to protect their assets from spend-down in order to qualify for government benefits, such as Medicaid & VA Aid & Attendance.  Prior to the issuance of this ruling, it was unclear whether assets passing to beneficiaries through an irrevocable trust would receive a step-up in basis, thereby eliminating any capital gains taxes that would otherwise be owed.

Historically, assets that are disposed of during an individual’s lifetime are subject to capital gains taxes on the increase in value of that asset over time.  The amount of capital gains owed is determined largely by the difference between the value at the time of purchase & the value at the time of transfer.

Government always grows. Government is inherently corrupt. Those elected to serve in the swamp either join it or do not seek reelection. Those who do return for multiple terms usually see their net worth increase vastly; increases that are inexplicable even by their salaries and the most favorable rates of return. So, yes, we will be taxed. We will be taxed on our taxes. You will own nothing and be happy...

OBiden will ignore the Constitution.  The House & Senate must vote on any new changes to the tax code yet they are secretly going it alone.  This administration is all criminal as they paint us all domestic terrorists that disagrees.

Here's another article related to the above...end of quarter...

Walkingstick:       End Of Quarter.

ARTICLE: Have we not been saying to you over & over again look for it in the beginning, in the middle or at the end of a quarter…Iraq is on a fiscal calendar year.   January 1st to December the 31st.  This is the end of a quarter.   It is all about the accounting.   It’s all about the numbers.
