Shafaq News / The commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, General Ismail Qaani, acknowledged, on Wednesday, his country's influence in Iraq, speaking of new steps in the "train of influence".

"The Islamic revolution in Iran was the most influential element in shaping this shift in the global balance of power, as Iran was among the most pivotal factors influencing the region," Qaani said, in statements transmitted by "Iran International" channel, translated by Shafaq News agency.

The Quds Force commander cited the example of Iraq and the extent of Iranian influence in it, where he said, "Compare the situation in Iraq today with the time when the Americans occupied the Arab country. In the beginning, they appointed a military ruler, and after a while due to pressure, they appointed a person, but now look what the government is." Parliament is in power in Iraq, and this is due to the strength of the culture of the Islamic revolution and resistance."

Qaani also referred to "the increasing role of China, as it began to play roles previously dominated by the United States, including in the Middle East."

The channel quoted Ghaani as saying, "Let us find a place for ourselves within this change in the power structure," adding that "good steps have been taken, but we need to determine where to ride this train of influence."

He also pointed to "the noticeable decline in US activity in the region, with US President Joe Biden's administration continuing to back down from Middle East issues," stressing the Iranian regime's resistance to this country, which it classifies as an "enemy."

The commander of the Quds Force concluded, saying, "The problem is that we want to follow our path, but the United States wants to put us on a path that it defines itself," stressing that the Iranian revolution's regime must determine its path and move in this direction.

God help is. If Kim clement was right and we should get out ASAP after the rv I would think he saw war looming again. I have seen several people suggest another war in the middle East at some point. I hope iraq rv's first and then they can get on with it as long as we are out and getting on with our plans
