"The draft financial budget law for the year 2023 has been completed in all respects and is ready for a vote on it after extensive discussions and deliberations and solutions to some points of contention regarding it," Baqir al-Saadi, a member of the coalition, said in a statement to "Al-Muttala" agency. Al-Saadi added, "The budget will be satisfactory and all governorates have received their entitlements," noting that "the budget is explosive and supportive of investment and service projects." And it is likely that "the House of Representatives will vote on the budget in the nearest session without any complications," noting that "the allocations for the sectors and governorates and some details have been developed according to studied proportions and will address the failures that were repeated in the past." yota691
Al-Maliki: The provincial elections are inevitable this year May 20, 2023 Baghdad / Obelisk Al-Hadath: The head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, confirmed that the provincial elections are inevitable this year. Al-Maliki said during a conference on the rule of law, that the provincial elections are inevitable this year, so let's prepare for them, adding, let's prepare the equipment and prepare the requirements for success in the provincial elections. He added that the parliamentary system depends on the will of the people and is the centerpiece of the democratic system. And he went on to say that the conscious people said their word to whoever wanted to strike at the political process from inside or outside. The Obelisk publishes clips of Al-Maliki's speech during the conference: We succeeded in restoring the state and proceeded with the reform and construction process with the support of the popular will The councils must return to administering the governorates in order to complete the legislative and executive picture therein He wanted to delay the return of the provincial councils Parliament’s decision to dissolve the provincial councils was a big mistake, and the democratic process cannot be completed without its return We will protect the political system through elections and the people's vote

Al-Sadr's close associate told Shafaq News agency, "The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, told his close associates that he had taken a decision not to run in the provincial elections with any list supported by him, directly or indirectly." And the source, who asked not to be named, said, "The leader of the Sadrist movement did not specify the Sadrists' position on the upcoming parliament elections, and whether they will be boycotted or run." The Sadrist bloc constituted the largest winning bloc after the announcement of the results of the early elections that took place on the tenth of October 2021, and it formed with the Kurdish and Sunni blocs the largest parliamentary blocs, which were called the "triple alliance", but it was unable to elect the president of the republic, who in turn assigns the bloc's candidate the largest to form the government. In late March 2022, al-Sadr announced his withdrawal from the process of forming the government, and paved the way for the coordination framework to carry out this task. In June, al-Sadr asked members of the Sadrist blocs to submit their resignations from membership in the House of Representatives, and a few days later he announced his withdrawal from the political process and not to engage in any Upcoming elections. https://shafaq.com/ar/سیاسة/الصدر-يحدد-موقفه-من-المشاركة-في-انتخابات-مجالس-المحافظات
