Shafaq News/ Today, Tuesday, the independent deputy, Basem Khashan, described the position of the leader of the Sadrist movement in "waving sedition" and withdrawing his supporters from the Green Zone in central Baghdad, as "sincere and seeking to keep Iraqis away from strife and war", while presenting a solution that satisfies all forces to resolve the political blockage.

Khashan told Shafaq News Agency, "Al-Sadr has proven the sincerity of his intentions to keep the country away from strife and war," calling on the forces of the framework "to form a government that meets the demands of the Iraqis and work to hold elections, whether early or periodic."

He added that "the issue of dissolving Parliament requires, first of all, stopping the suspension of its sessions to re-amend the election law and other laws related to the political process to ensure the adoption of an election law that guarantees its conduct without problems."

Regarding the dissolution of Parliament by the Federal Court, Khashan said that "the court either rules to dissolve it or vice versa," stressing, "I was the first to demand its dissolution, and at that time the court decided to dismiss the case because the court indicated that there are no constitutional provisions or penalties for exceeding the constitutional periods." .

He continued, "I see that the solution that can satisfy all parties is to return the framework to the initiative of independents in managing this stage," stressing the necessity of "forming a government that adheres to a government program supported by all political parties, and that transcends its interests and prioritizes public interests on that to achieve stability in the country."

Shafaq News/ The leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, announced today, Tuesday, his position on the events that the country witnessed during the past twenty-four hours, and thanked the popular crowd and security forces that faced what he described as "uncontrolled weapons", while providing 7 data for what happened.

The Secretary-General of the Islamic Dawa Party (Al-Maliki) said in a statement addressed to the Iraqis and what he described as "those who carry out the supreme mission of the three authorities" and "those involved in the ranks of the Iraqi national forces", and it was reported to Shafaq News Agency, that there is no national principle or saying that was not declared. Politicians from all national forces, but I would like to recall the following facts:

First: Power cannot impose a political reality that forces others to follow its compass.

Second: The one who ignites the war is not the one who stops it or controls its tracks, just as he is not the one who reaps its fruits. Rather, there are internal and external influences that start to stir or stop the bloody scene.

Third: Everyone has pledged to preserve the political system and work under the umbrella of the constitution and the law, and we must condemn any wrong practice by any of us without complacency or equivocation.

Fourth: The legitimate state institutions have complete immunity and respect in accordance with the law, and that attacking them is a major crime punishable by laws, and is considered an explosion and sabotage of political life and a violation of pluralistic democracy.

Fifth: Nineteen years of violent policies and the strife between this component or that and that political party and that party have sufficed us. The Iraqi people have reaped nothing but pain, suffering, strife, and lost opportunities for construction and progress. And whoever puts Iraq in his heart and mind, he must be consistent with this conviction and claim and adhere to the constitutional contexts in his political steps, and appeal to the logic of reason and the national interest and legitimacy, and is subject to the rule of the Constitution, which is translated by the judicial, legislative and executive authorities.

Sixth: The people are the source of authority, so where is it in the culture and premises of political forces, or is it a tempting sign and a platform for achieving personal and objective goals, while the people are required to judge and criticize wrong and illegal practices in the light of their constitutional awareness.

Seventh: What we always say and adhere to remains as a structural part of our political practices, which is to stay away from violence and illegal force, break the system and sabotage it, and all political forces, whether represented by the government or the opposition, must resort to the decisions of the people’s voice that the legitimate parliament reduces through its decisions and laws And his positions, adherence to the provisions of the judiciary and the Federal Court as the constitutional judge in disputes, and dealing with the executive authority as responsible for implementing laws and taking care of the people’s interest in what they aspire to, with respect for its institutions and decisions, and this is the common word that we have to meet with all our different affiliations and identities.

Al-Maliki also said, "I take the opportunity today to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Popular Mobilization, for its commitment and discipline, and for not dealing emotionally with crises, at a time when the sacrifices of thousands of its sons are before us in response to the barbaric ISIS attacks on Iraq."

Al-Maliki also directed his "thanks to the armed forces, who showed great discipline and remarkable patience as they faced uncontrolled bullets and missiles that do not distinguish between a man, a woman and a child."

IMHO.... Pro-Iranian Masters don't give a tinkers damn about foreign investment: they want their status quo to remain. A prosperous Iraq is not in the playbook.

What happened after 2019 ??? 4 more years of the same and now here comes 2022.

They're either getting kicked out this time, if not, expect more of what we've seen the last 20 years.

The President of the Republic calls for early elections and constitutional amendments

Saleh said in a speech broadcast by Alsumaria satellite channel, "Yesterday's scenes shook the souls of all Iraqis, hurt their feelings, and wrung their hearts in grief, and we have to admit that the political system and constitutional institutions were unable to avoid what happened."

He pointed out that "Al-Sadr's position to stop violent incidents is a responsible, courageous and keen on the homeland, which is highly appreciated by the Iraqis, and it should be invested in the interest of getting our country out of the current political crisis through responsible solutions that guarantee to achieve the aspirations of the people, " considering that "the end of violence and clashes and the launching of Bullets are necessary and important to spare the blood of Iraqis, but it does not mean the end of the political crisis that has been in the country for months.

Saleh stressed, "The recent elections did not achieve what the citizen hoped for, and faced many problems and challenges... the delay in meeting the constitutional deadlines and forming a new government, and the issue of the resignation of the Sadrist bloc that won the elections, and its grave political and social effects."

He pointed out that “the silent majority that boycotted the last elections, which constituted more than half of the Iraqi electorate, is a wake-up call and a punishment for the political performance. We must stop and think a lot. The elections in the end are not an end in themselves, but rather a means and a peaceful path that guarantees the broad participation of Iraqis in renewing their choices and achieving their aspirations for reform.

The President of the Republic stressed that “holding new, early elections in accordance with a national understanding represents a way out of the stifling crisis in the country instead of political controversy or confrontation and strife, and that it guarantees political and social stability and responds to the aspirations of Iraqis,” adding that “there is no inevitable after today to embark on real reforms.” And certainly no position or position is more important than the interest of the country, and the most important thing is to fundamentally reform the situation to stop the cycle of crises.”

He considered, "The quotas that refuses to leave our reality represents dangerous forms and an obstacle to achieving good governance, as it is the most prominent cause of bleeding in our country, but rather it is a reason for deepening the absence of a comprehensive national identity in favor of sub-identities that have plunged the country and its citizens into sectarian, sectarian and ethnic tensions."

He explained, "The continuation of the status quo will enable corruption more, this cancer that threatens the entity of the state, impedes the chances of our country's progress and shackles the capabilities of our country that can transfer our people to another level.. And the issues of corruption and conspiracy against the state's capabilities that appeared to public opinion recently are only an indication of the disaster." It is real, and definitely requires serious legal follow-up.”

Saleh stressed, "the need for constitutional amendments that must be initiated in the coming period, and through constitutional and legal mechanisms, for clauses that we have all seen as responsible for persistent problems... clauses that have established crises instead of solving them, and distanced rather than approximated them."

The President of the Republic touched on the crisis between the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Region, considering that it “has become unacceptable and has cost the country a lot, and has brought us to this pivotal moment where we are facing its consequences today due to procrastination and deportation of problems, and a serious dialogue must be launched between the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government that puts forward radical and lasting solutions that do not prosthetics.”

Saleh called on the coordinating framework to "communicate with Al-Sadr to calm the souls, and to come up in this national dialogue with a decisive political solution that addresses the issue of early new elections, the formation of the government and the management of the coming period."

Sadr is playing this, just right. His power is based on controlling his followers. He said to leave. They left. He said if someone isn't leaving within 60 minutes, he's not my follower. Meaning the military can do what they want with those guys. Perfect leadership so far. I'm impressed.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi warned in a televised speech late Tuesday that he will resign from his position if chaos and violence continues in the country.

“I served my people with honour and honesty, and I was never a party or part of the problem, and I was patient with all kinds of abuse, obstruction and declared war from all sides to weaken the state and its decision or blackmail it or reduce everything that was achieved for electoral goals, and for reasons that do not belong to the essence of Iraqi patriotism,” said Kadhimi.

He added that despite this he did not abandon his responsibility and that supports peaceful transfer of power.

“I warn from here that if they want to continue to stir up chaos, conflict discord and strife, and not listen to the voice of reason, I will take my moral and patriotic steps by announcing the vacancy of the position at the appropriate time, according to Article 81 of the Constitution, and holding them accountable before the Iraqis, and before history,” he said. SHARE ON FBON TWITTSHARE ON WHATSAPPSHARE ON TELEGRAMSHARE ON V
