This is a 'rinse and repeat' story. The 'Chicken Little, sky is falling' story continues.

The interesting interviews I see are people of Ukraine saying, "What are you talking about? Russia does these training exercises every year. So do other Countries around the world. Why are you making a big deal about this?" The bad guys seem to be saying, "look at my left hand" . . . and the right hand has an alternate agenda.

I also have a problem with our own 'occupants at the W.H.' that answer questions from the press - reading responses from a pre-written sheet of paper, avoiding eye contact with the camera and press core-peeps.

The 30,000 pro Putin Rebels in Ukraine are already setting the table for the eastern half take over...those in the middle of this are being bused to safe harbor areas....both for, and against the Russian advancement....

 

Putin wants that eastern 40% of Ukraine back....he believes they are displaced Russians. He also wants to secure Crimea further....good to have a more solid hold on the water (port)....

 

In the 60's the US drew the line at Cuba for Russian nukes......NATO has nukes very close to Russia.....50 alone in Turkey. (and I don't consider them to be an ally)....think what might occur of Putin or Xi got friendly with Canada.....I doubt Nukes would ever be allowed into Canada by the US....

 

The MSM....Governments and now social media are/have really done a number on the citizens of the world....Interesting week ahead!

Personally, seeing that our nation is no longer a Constitutional government but has been overthrown by a Fascist regime I'm hoping Putin does what he must to defend Russia and eliminate the threat.

KYIV/OUTSIDE MAIUPOL, Ukraine, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Russian forces invaded Ukraine by land, air and sea on Thursday, confirming the worst fears of the West with the biggest attack by one state against another in Europe since World War Two.

Russian missiles rained down on Ukrainian cities. Ukraine reported columns of troops pouring across its borders into the eastern Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Luhansk regions, and landing by sea at the port cities of Odessa and Mariupol in the south.

 

Explosions could be heard before dawn in the capital Kyiv. Gunfire rattled, sirens blared across the city and the highway out became choked with traffic as residents tried to flee.

 

 

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin's aim was to destroy his state.

"Putin has just launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Peaceful Ukrainian cities are under strikes," Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Twitter.

 

This is a war of aggression. Ukraine will defend itself and will win. The world can and must stop Putin. The time to act is now."

EU foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell said: "These are among the darkest hours of Europe since the Second World War."

A resident of Ukraine's second largest city Kharkiv, the closest big city to the Russian border, said windows in apartment blocks were shaking from constant blasts.

 

Outside Mariupol, close to the frontline held by Russian-backed separatists, smoke billowed from a fire in a forest targetted by Russian bombing.

A Ukrainian armoured column headed along the road, with soldiers seated atop turrets smiling and flashing victory signs to passing cars which honked their horns in support.

In the nearby towns of Mangush and Berdyansk, people queued for cash and gasoline. Civilians from Mariupol were seen packing bags.

 

We are going into hiding," said a middle-aged woman in a grey sweater.

Initial reports of casualties were sporadic and unconfirmed. Ukraine reported at least eight people killed by Russian shelling and three border guards killed in the southern Kherson region.

Ukraine's military said it had destroyed four Russian tanks on a road near Kharkiv, killed 50 troops near a town in Luhansk region and downed six Russian warplanes in the east.

 

Russia denied reports that its aircraft or armoured vehicles had been destroyed. Russian-backed separatists claimed to have downed two Ukrainian planes.

In a televised declaration of war in the early hours, Putin said he had ordered "a special military operation" to protect people, including Russian citizens, subjected to "genocide" in Ukraine, an accusation the West calls absurd propaganda.

"And for this we will strive for the demilitarisation and denazification of Ukraine," Putin said. "Russia cannot feel safe, develop, and exist with a constant threat emanating from the territory of modern Ukraine...All responsibility for bloodshed will be on the conscience of the ruling regime in Ukraine."

I was thinking when Putin passed the soccer ball to Trump at their meeting, and said, now the ball is in your court, I thought Odd, but now I think, Big Guy and son Hunter, probably keep a lots of money in their banking system, along with lotzzz of others, Gods got this and exposure is on the way for sure!

China 'watching' for US weakness amid Russia invasion of Ukraine, experts warn

All eyes are on China as Russia launches largest military attack since WWII

Top foreign policy experts told Fox News Digital Thursday that China is "watching" to see how the U.S. and its Western allies handle Russian aggression against Ukraine and whether there is "any sign of weakness.

"They have done the calculus as to what this would ‘cost them’ if they were to move against Taiwan. And they are getting more data points now looking at what the West is doing now vis-à-vis Russia," said Heino Klinck, the former deputy assistant secretary of defense for East Asia during the Trump administration.

"It will inform and potentially shape Chinese decision-making," he continued in reference to the U.S. response in Eastern Europe. "Any sign of weakness…will be taken into account by the Chinese."

Moscow’s aggression toward Kyiv prompted the U.S. and its Western allies to respond with severe sanctions and the deployment of Western forces to NATO-member nations that surround Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. 

Critics of the Biden administration, like former President Trump, have claimed the inability to deter a Russian invasion will "embolden" China to act more aggressively toward Taiwan..

But Isaac Stone Fish, CEO of Strategy Risks, a China-focused risk firm, told Fox News he disagrees with this calculus. 

"I think in some ways it’s the opposite," Stone Fish, who focuses on issues involving U.S.-China national security, said, adding that China could interpret increased military involvement in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict as opportune timing.

"They would calculate that the United States is unlikely to go to war with Russia over Ukraine and China over Taiwan at the same time. The more involved the United States gets in the Ukraine crisis from a military perspective, the more it incentivizes China to act now," he added.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin have expressed nostalgic desires to rebuild previous empires that were broken up during the 20th century – but experts argue this is where the parallel between the Russian-Ukraine conflict and Beijing’s desire for dominance over Taiwan ends.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has long sought to reunify Taiwan, officially known as the Republic of China (ROC), with mainland China, but this goal has been met with opposition from Western nations like the U.S., the U.K. and Australia.

Taiwan has been described by Western allies as the beacon of democracy in Asia and identifies as a sovereign nation. But Taiwan is officially recognized by China, the United Nations and the U.S. as part of the one-China policy.
