The deputy of the State of Law bloc, Kati al-Rikabi had believed on Saturday, that the Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kadhimi was facing obstacles to completing his government formation and presenting it to parliament, expected to step down from the task of forming the government in the coming days as a result. For its part, "Sadiqun" bloc led by the Secretary General of "Asaib Ahl al-Haq" group said that Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhimi will present the ministerial cabinet to the parliament within the next 24 hours. "The prime minister-designate made some amendments to the names of the candidates in the cabinet, in line with the vision of the Shiite forces to choose the most appropriate figure for the ministerial post," said the bloc's deputy, Fadel Al-Fatlawi to Shafaq News. He added that "Al-Kadhimi will submit a request to the parliament within the next 24 hours in order to give confidence to his government," noting that "the session of giving confidence to Al-Kadhimi's government will be held next Thursday."

Idk About That Last Sentence - But Mahdi Is A Sinking Ship That Is Only Being Kept Afloat By A ‘Corrupt Parliament In Denial’ Which Still Delusionally Thinks That It’s ‘Thieving As Usual’ ! And As To Ur First Sentence - The Bro’s Are More Into The Maui Wowie ! 25-04-2020 04:40 PM Political analyst: Political blocs prefer Abdel Mahdi to stay because their financial interests have revived with him Baghdad / news Political analyst Mohammed Al-Tamimi said today, Saturday, that political blocs prefer the survival of the caretaker Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi because of the recovery of its financial interests with him. Al-Tamimi said in a press statement, "The lack of acquiescence in charge of Mustafa Al-Kazemi's dictates of the blocs and their conditions means that he will face the fate of Allawi and Al-Zarfi." He added, "All political forces have proven that they are not in a position to surrender what they consider to be their share in the government and the ministries that have turned them into offices of financial interests and relations affiliated with them, through which they finance their partisan and political projects." Al-Tamimi said, “There are political blocs that prefer to retain Abdul-Mahdi, because its financial and political interests flourished in his time. So the scenario of Al-Kazemi’s failure is not excluded.” LINK
