Pelosi to deliver public statement on Trump impeachment

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will deliver an unusual public statement Thursday morning on the status of the House impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.

On Wednesday, Pelosi met behind closed doors with her Democratic caucus and asked whether they were ”ready.” The answer was a resounding yes, according to those in the room.

Democrats are charging toward a Christmastime vote on removing the 45th president, a situation Pelosi hoped to avoid but which now seems inevitable.

Three leading legal scholars testified Wednesday to the House Judiciary Committee that Trump’s attempts to have Ukraine investigate Democratic rivals are grounds for impeachment, bolstering the Democrats’ case.

A fourth expert called by Republicans warned against rushing the process.

Live : US President Donald Trump attacked the speaker of the House of Representatives after demanding to move forward in the procedures of accountability, stressing that he will win this conflict.

Earlier in the day, Nancy Byulsey asked the House Judiciary Committee to move forward with Trump's accountability investigations, noting that Trump had violated the Constitution severely after he used his power for personal gain.

"Democrats have no issue of accountability and insult our country, but nothing matters. If you want to hold me accountable, do it quickly, we will have a fair attempt in the Senate," Bush said in tweets on Thursday.

House Democrats are investigating whether Trump has abused his power for personal interests in a call to Ukraine's president asking him to investigate John Biden, his presidential rival and son.

Trump said: "Democrats will make the use of rare accountability procedures are routinely to attack presidents in the future, but the good thing is that Republicans have never been more united than now, we will win."

The US president added: "Nancy Pelosi suffered a nervousness only, and hates that we will soon have 182 new judges, and much more, such as achievements in the stock market, and jobs."

Nancy Pelosi announced today that they will be drafting articles of impeachment against the president.

There’s a very good chance that House Democrats will vote against the president. It’ll seal their fate, but hey, we’re talking about Democrats.

There was something Nancy was forgetting, though: the president’s trump card.

And now he plans on using it.

President Trump on Thursday challenged House Democrats to impeach him “fast” and ship the process over to the Senate, where he threatened to seek testimony from top Democrats including House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, and Speaker Nancy Pelosi…

“We will have Schiff, the Bidens, Pelosi and many more testify, and will reveal, for the first time, how corrupt our system really is.”

Uh-oh! Did Pelosi think Trump was going to sit back and let Democrats destroy our democracy?

If the House votes to impeach, the Senate will hold a trial. Every last person Schiff tried to protecting during his bogus hearings will be forced to testify.

We will finally hear from Schiff, Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and Pelosi herself. We might even finally get to lay our eyes on this so-called whistleblower: the partisan that started this all.

Reports indicate that Lindsey Graham and other Republican senators are already preparing. They are gathering up documents on what Biden and other Democrats were up to with Ukraine.

The entire party might be exposed in a very serious way. Any real crimes and wrongdoing will be brought before the American people.

Something tells me that Democrats will not come out very pretty in all this.

What will we learn when Republicans put the screws of Schiff, Biden, and Pelosi? Everything they tried to hide will come spilling out, big time.

If Pelosi had been smart, she would have quietly dismissed impeachment before the year was out.

But now? She’s really stepped in it, hasn’t she?
