The Central Bank of Iraq sales of foreign currency increased by 10.3 million dollars

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - 
The value of foreign currency sales in Sunday's auction rose to $ 189.29 million from Thursday's auction of $ 178.99 million, an increase of $ 10.3 million, according to data released by the Central Bank of Iraq. 
The exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar, according to data from the Central Bank, in the auction held with the participation of 32 banks, as well as a single money transfer company. 
The Central Bank said the sales executed were results on Monday, adding that total sales totaled $ 218.13 million. 
The volume of funds sold to strengthen the bank balances abroad amounted to $ 187.94 million, while total selling cash amounted to $ 1.35 million.

The Central Bank of Iraq (CBE) data showed a rise in the value of sales of foreign currency in the auction on Thursday to 219.17 million dollars, compared to Wednesday's sales of 189.21 million dollars, an increase of 30.49 million dollars.

The exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar, according to data from the Central Bank, in the auction held with the participation of 31 banks, as well as a financial transfer company.

The Central Bank added that the sales executed are the results of next Sunday, adding that the total sales totaled 237.93 million dollars.

The Central Bank of Iraq, the volume of funds sold to strengthen the bank balances abroad amounted to 218.87 million dollars, while the total cash sold 300 thousand dollars.
