The General Council of Islamic Banks announced the participation of Iraq in the third global forum to be held in Turkey at the beginning of next month under the title "The new face of financial services: disturbances, opportunities and renewed challenges."

The General Council of Islamic Banks, in an announcement posted on its social networking site Facebook, said that the General Council of Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions, the official umbrella of Islamic financial institutions, is organizing the third Global Forum under the theme: "The New Face of Financial Services: And renewed challenges ", which will be held in cooperation with the Turkish Banking Supervision and Supervision Authority for the period from 2 to 3 May 2018, in Istanbul, Turkey .

He added that "the forum will see the participation of Iraqi Governor of the Central Bank, Ali Alaq, and the President of the Association of Iraqi private banks, Wadih al-Hanal . "

According to the General Council, the forum will also include the participation of leading industry experts from within and outside the Islamic finance industry, multilateral development institutions, international and national regulatory bodies, policy makers, leading technocrats and women who bring the industry to share their experiences on global issues affecting the economy and the future of the Islamic financial services industry .

"It will be organized in a strategic partnership with Turkey's Al Baraka Turkish Bank and Kuwait Finance House, as well as the Global Forum as an Islamic retail banking partner and in cooperation with Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt and Jordan Islamic Bank. Turkish Airlines as a global aviation partner " .

The banking sector continues to experience regional experiences that have been very successful in the field of finance. The visit of the delegation of Islamic banks in Iraq was a positive one within the Kingdom of Bahrain and its financial and Arab institutions based in Manama during an intensive program organized by the Association of Iraqi Banks. 
Development plans
The Executive Director of the Association of Iraqi Private Banks Ali Tariq said: "The plans for the development of the Iraqi financial sector require cooperation with regional and international counterpart institutions and stand at their successful experiences and benefit from them and the transfer of the banking sector to a new stage where openness to the world will increase knowledge and work to adopt systems that make Iraq is a competitor to the countries of the region and the world in banking services, especially that the training plans adopted by the Association and the competent institutions have created competencies capable of mastering 
advanced technology  ». World banks offer more than 120 products to beneficiaries at different levels, companies and individuals, and perform the work in a field and through personal electronic devices. 
  Prospects for cooperation
"The delegation of Islamic banks in Iraq, which ended his visit to Bahrain recently, came out with positive results, several of which are the opening of new cooperation prospects, and this in itself will benefit from the contact with banks with sophisticated systems, especially that the other side recognizes the importance of Iraq on the arena of the international economy» . Iraqi banks provide about 15 banking products to their public, and thus need to develop their systems in line with developments in the international financial sector. "The visit has witnessed the introduction of eight Iraqi Islamic banks requesting membership of the General Council of Banks and Islamic Financial Institutions in a move to open up to the financial institutions, banking and global, and to establish their presence in the Council, with the aim of starting with advanced levels of cooperation and support the Iraqi banking sector.


A memorandum of understanding was 
signed between the Association of Private Banks of Iraq and the Association of Banks of Bahrain with the aim of activating cooperation and providing facilities for Iraqi banks and the second with the General Council of Banks and Islamic Financial Institutions. The Association also prepared a long-term memorandum of understanding with the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial Training next period. Developmental mutations in turn between the Director of Training and Management Association in Ahmed al - Hashemi said «regional and international mobility is a necessity, especially that Iraq was cut off from the world for a long period of banking services through which large developmental mutations». Hashemi added that «the visit revealed to the delegation the extent of aspiration of Bahraini banks, which have advanced mechanisms to work to the coming period, and the possibility of benefiting from the Bahraini experience in the field of training 




And administration}. Hashemi pointed out that «the visit strengthened confidence between the two sides, where can be achieved prospects for cooperation between the two sides in the desire to do so between the two sides, and look forward to the parties to strengthen cooperation to the benefit of both.

....I hear ya Jeep...Someone forgot to explain to the CBI that...when they make loans...they're not the ones who are suppose to receive the money....The CBI can dwarf what they're making off the auction...by moving to an open-economy....

The Association of Iraqi Private Banks is participating in the third conference of the General Council of Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions scheduled to be held in Istanbul from May 2-3 .

In view of the importance of the conference in shaping the future policies and programs of Islamic banks in the world, the Association of Private Banks has been keen to extend invitations to the Iraqi banks to participate in its work and to benefit from the discussions, research and analysis that will be presented during its meetings, especially with regard to the Islamic finance industry, Traditional finance and ways to develop the Islamic financial services industry in light of the accelerating technological developments taking place in the world .

The agenda of the conference, organized by the General Council of Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions, which is the official umbrella of Islamic financial institutions around the world, addresses the new ideas and ideas that will contribute to making the Islamic finance industry compatible with the developments of the traditional financial industry .

The conference, which will be held for the first time in partnership with Al Baraka Turki Bank and with the support of a group of Arab banks, will consider how to bring together stakeholders, decision-makers, Islamic banking leaders, representatives of regulatory authorities, supervisory bodies and users of financial services at one table.

The conference seeks to "take advantage of new innovations in enhancing the competitive advantages of the future Islamic banking industry."

The General Council of Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions ( CIBAFI) , an international organization of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), was established in Bahrain in 2001 on the initiative of the Islamic Development Bank and a number of Islamic financial institutions. Since then, he has set his sights on representing the Islamic financial industry globally .

Uh . . . my guess is by now ? . . . well, several Bazillion :moneybag: - I mean folks, lets be real here . . . THIS HAS BEEN A REAL CONCERTED EFFORT for the last 15 years on Iraq's' part to FLEECE, Planetary wide as much $$$$$$$ as they can and yet still beg for help and cry wolf they're going Bankrupt and so on. Up till a few short months ago it's been working beautifully. They know they're TOO BIG to FAIL and have worked that angle like only a True Con Artist can.   

 

Every DAWG has it's day and I hope US DAWGS here are about to have ours . . . Time to get Legit, Iraq ! ( as best you can considering who & what U are ).

VERY Well said 10YL..... and like you say, they don’t really know how to be legit, but I guess we’ll see what happens this time around. If they don’t do it this time, it’ll be another one of their con jobs we are so familiar with ... (and I wouldn’t put it past them to do just that) these are some fubar people we have been, and are dealing with....
