Ukraine Update :  Umbertino was at the news conference where Sec of State  John Kerry spoke about the Ukraine crisis in Paris.  Kerry said Ukrainians told him they want government support for the people, they want to have a chance to live like everybody else.  Furthermore, he added all parties agree to continue intense discussion in the coming days with delegation from Ukraine and Russia to normalize the situation and stabilize it and overcome the crisis.  It is important to resolve the issue through dialogue.  US is suspending the bilateral talk, military engagement and G8 summit in Sochi.  If things flare up in Ukraine, we will have problems with the supply of energy.

 

Who is Pouting Putin’s American payroll?  Ketchum – $1.5 million, , Maslansky & Partners – $138,000 , Alston & Bird - $100,000, Venable - $168,000 in 6 months in 2013.

 

The bull slipped 35 points on the slippery slope.  Chess doesn’t know why Dow is the only major average still down for first quarter, whereas Russell 2000 shows no indication  of any weakness in the market. AG futures stay hot on Ukraine.  Tesla is not only making model S but also doing  space exploration.  Tbomb likes Evenbrite becomes the “do it yourself” ticketmaster competitor.  Eventbrite has sold over 165M tickets and registrations worldwide. They have processed over 2B in gross tickets.  Potential IPO might be in the future.  Rayzur is happy Chipotle said there is no looming guacpocalypse.  Captl1 wondered why Facebook hired a cop for Menlo Park for $200,000/year.. police should be on the lookout for….?

 

Lawrenceofdinaria is amazed on how google does its business.  From robots to real estate, google is putting 50 million into auction.com. Google capital says investment will have no product integration and they are more interested in the commercial properties.  Auction.com has sold 26B in property since 2008,  their investors include Starwood Capital and Stone Point.   Calkid11 heard New York Regulator opens probes  into Nationstar Mortgage and also Ocwen Financial. It is reported they have received hundreds of consumer complaints on Nationstar.  The regulator has some concern over Nationstar explosive growth whether they have the capacity to handle the clients. Ronscarpa suspected  China corporate fears bond default. BAML could be China’s Bear Stearns moment, it would be first corporation default in modern Chinese history.  Saint agreed you just can’t keep bailing people out all the time.

 

From dinar land :  Bumper64 read Maliki in his weekly address urged for the parliaments to pass 2014 budget, otherwise he would take it to the court and start exchanging money without budget approval.  He also hailed all Iraqis to unite and fight against aliens.  He added the need to put violence behind and start focusing in rebuilding Iraq to be the center of financial and industrial for Middle East.  Rodandstaff heard the kick off for campaigns is set on March 25 and elections are scheduled on April 30.  Easyrider reported Finance Committee  Member said “the year 2014 will see the deletion of the zeros from the Iraqi currency, to be done in coordination with CBI.  He added the project will lead to the reduction of the size of the national currency in circulation than four billion Iraqi dinars to one billion only.

 

Dinar Thug feels US will be out of game if sanctions against Russia is imposed.   As China joins Russia, BRICS now will hold more economic power than the US and G7.  All Russia needs to do is shut off oil and gas to Europe and China calls in the Fed bonds, US will be out of luck.  On the upside,  it could cause or force the global currency reset.  Watch Ukraine.

 

From rumor land :  Millionday is encouraged the budget will pass within a month.  Frank26 said all procedure steps are collapsing into one big step which is the release of the new rate. Steve1 said we should see the budget voted on this week.  Bluwolf said GCR is now on its rise and being fitted into place by those in the know.

 

Zimbabwe dollars could have a glitch today as three foreign currency converters were showing new rate.  Thriver wonders which bank we should go to cash in.

 

Zuluman accompanied Netanyahu to meet with tech leaders in Silicon Valley and California Governor to talk about California drought.  Israel  is a country of 60% dessert but has transform it to most profitable and productible using their irrigation technology called desalination which turn salt water into drinking water.  Israel is building the largest desalination plant in north of San Diego which will produce 50M gallons of drinking water a day and the project will be completed in 2016.
