My opinion is if the party was to dump Romney at this point they would be committing "party suicide".....

This idea was probably started by the Obama group in the hopes of causing discord amongst the Republicans.........Nothing is going to change here....

Ron Paul is a fine man.........but he will not be the candidate...!!!

The Republican party committed "Political Suicide" when they decided to try and make the voters swallow their values and vote for someone who is clearly not right for our country. They all say they would rather have had the opportunity to vote for Ron Paul.

So... "just do it"!

Exactly! If every single person who says they wanted to vote fro Ron Paul in the primaries actually would have, then he'd be the nominee!

Unfortunately for these people, Romney is already digging himself in a deep hole and giving Obama much fodder over his tax returns and refusal to be more transparent.

Romney isn't going to win in November and is going to get destroyed in the debates. Count on it. Obama is leading in a few battleground states and important swing states.

A little reality check:

Romney has beat out Obama in fund raising for the last three months. July alone by $25 million more than Obama. Romney will be the GOP nominee.

Romney Easily Outpaces Obama in Fundraising

Republican Mitt Romney’s campaign effort outraised President Barack Obama’s team for the third consecutive month, taking in $101.3 million in July compared with $75 million for Mr. Obama and his party.

The Republican’s operation also spent more heavily than previous months, according to numbers released by the campaign, but it marked the second straight month Mr. Romney and the Republican National Committee took in more than $100 million. Mr. Obama’s haul marked his best of the election, though his campaign appeared to downplay it as they released it over a series of posts on the president’s Twitter account.

It’s the latest indication that Republicans fundraising juggernaut is not slowing down as the campaign progresses, placing increased pressure on Mr. Obama as he spends millions on a large campaign infrastructure and negative ads meant to define Mr. Romney as a corporate elitist.

There are signs however that Mr. Romney and the GOP increased spending as well in July as the campaign picked up steam. The Romney campaign, the Republican National Committee and its state fund-raising affiliates ended last month with $185.9 million in the bank, a relatively small increase from the $170 million the effort had banked as of June 30. While Mr. Obama’s current cash total is not available, he and his party had $147 million to spend at the beginning of last month.

Mr. Romney already benefits from a cadre of outside groups that spend hundreds of millions of dollars on TV ads attacking Mr. Obama and defending the GOP nominee-in-waiting. Democratic donors have been less willing to support such groups. The Republican’s advantage could grow yet still this fall, since federal election law prevents him from spending much of the money he is raising until after he accepts his party’s nomination in Tampa later this month.

Since when does money equate to winning the presidency. If that were the case, Romney would have been the GOP nominee. But regardless, it's the votes that matter, not who raises the most moeny . . . . . . . . . .Especially when everyone knows who Obama is.

So, it's ok to behave just like someone you consider morally inferior? Two wrongs make a right? What ever happened to taking the high ground?

Besides, Obama is calling Romney out. If Romney has a problem with it, then he should call Obama out, dontcha think?

lol, wow. For once you actually made a funny statement. it made me chuckle. Bravo.

However, Romney is trailing in the polls and the reason is because of his lack of transparency. Hence, why more and more conservative politicians and media figures are calling for him to release more tax returns. You need my vote, and you know it. :P

lol, OK. Don't let facts get in the way of reason. Its going to cost Romney the election. It's sad that some refuse to even acknowledge that this whole situation is causing him troubles.

I hope you understand that Romney releasing his tax returns is not an admission of guilt and neither is not releasing them. Simply, it will either shut Obama up, or as it is already doing, make Romney seem untrustworthy and that he is hiding something.
