This ‘Veteran Jobs Bill’ if passed would have violated the Budget Control Act. This bill was intentionally designed to try to force the Republicans to violate the BCA. If they had they would be expected to violate it for anything else. It was intentional pandering by the Democrats to make the Republicans look bad.
