Adam, expectation end of ride is very near, accolades to you for your far thinking and helping those of us that don't always look to the future financially with the same kind of mentality. We all have a place in life - some of us are good at things that others aren't and your forte certainly is a huge help to all of us whether VIP, Platinum or the OSI development. OMGOODNESS, this brings a huge lump to my throat and tears to my eyes. I didn't know that he was ill. My deepest and sincerest sympathies to his family and friends and those of us here on DV. Very sad news indeed. God be with us.

Rod&Staff, the first time I visited friends in Indiana (no offense here), I swear they ate bacon grease on everything - including breakfast cereal.

Tankdude - I love using coconut oil too for cooking - and occasionally avocado oil, walnut or almond oil, too. And if I'm cooking something exotic and want a real special taste addition, I love a drop or two of truffle oil. OMGOODNESS that rocks. I've entirely quit using vegetable oil, canola etc. Good old butter etc. for me - I exercise some daily - chores etc. outside, plus my cholesterol remains well under 200, no high blood pressure - don't drink sugared drinks - may be once a year I have a pop. Thaiexpat, good thread - hope it goes into the health section thanks for sharing.

Hi divemaster - some time ago I used to visit this very elderly lady in a nursing home - she had trouble hearing and seeing - but she was THE best christian - and she used to ask for me to pray for her to have her eyes and hearing healed. And I thought at first why, due to her age. And God told me that I needed to honor her request because he didn't heal just the young. So prayers for your sister-in-law's situation and Mom - God may want to heal her and not mine to question, but to heed the request and lift it up before God. Prayers for the Mom for healing and that God has his way in this situation. J

I got to hear Gordon in person before he let the song to the public - it was totally awesome and something that I will never forget. The performance was so well received that we all predicted it would be a big hit - one of my favorites.

Love the sinner, hate the sin. I've a ton of friends of both persuasions - don't understand why their choice is what it is - but what I do know is that God has brought them into my life for a reason and a purpose. And my job is to pray for them for what is the best to happen in their lives - and that God has HIS way with them. Not my job to judge - I've enough garbage on my own doorstep that I cannot shovel it off onto others.
