Clashes rage in Mosul

An intensive fighting is taking place between the Iraqi forces, aided by the US-led coalition and the terror group of ISIS in al-Seha district in Mosul's right bank, a source told the Baghdad Post on Friday.

Rickets and mortar shells are used in these clashes, he added.

The Iraqi helicopters targeted gatherings of ISIS terrorists in the districts of al-Maidan and al-Refaei.

Bodies of the civilians are piling up on the streets in the district of al-Thawra after they had been targeted by ISIS terrorists' fire.

14 ISIS operatives killed, injured in airstrikes in Kirkuk

ISIS leader killed in Kirkuk

Four ISIS terrorists have been killed and ten others injured in airstrikes conducted on the western parts of Kirkuk, a security source said Friday.

The jets of the US-led coalition hit positions of ISIS in the village of Borgon, 35 KM southwest of Kirkuk, killing a top leader within the terror group named Abu Qatada al-Uzbeki.

The source, who requested anonymity, said that the operation was carried out upon receiving intelligence information.

This operation is a severe blow to the terrorist group, the source noted.

Jets of the US-led coalition bomb ISIS positions on a daily basis, inflicting heavy casualties in the ranks of the terrorists.

6 ISIS terrorists killed in US-led strikes in Anbar

Security sources said on Friday six ISIS terrorists had been killed in US-led International Coalition strikes in western Ramadi.

In a statement, Gen. Mahmoud Felahy, Commander-in-Chief of Anbar Operations said,  "international coalition strikes destroyed  an ISIS position in Akshat city, 310 km western Ramadi, and killed six terrorists".  

He added that the eighth division of the Iraqi Army had killed six ISIS terrorists while infiltrating Karbala Province coming from Anbar. 

Meanwhile, ISIS fired mortar shells at an Iraqi army position in Ramadi with no casualties reported, security sources revealed to The Baghdad Post.

Iraqi air forces have bombarded ISIS bastions in Anbar governorate, upon accurate information from the intelligence directorate, a security source revealed.
 

The source asserted that the airstrikes destroyed three IEDs , vehicles, armoring workshops at al-Oubeidi and Gregeib neighborhoods in Anbar.
 

L-159 jets also executed several airstrikes that destroyed several ISIS posts and checkpoints at Glemeid and Khashmah villages in Mosul.
 

These efforts are part of operations launched by the Iraqi army to oust ISIS terrorists from Iraq.

Intensive clashes between Iraqi security forces and ISIS terrorists have erupted at al-Seha neighborhood in the right bank of Mosul, a security source said on Friday.

The source asserted that both sides use rockets and artillery to inflict heavy damage to each other.
 

The battle for Mosul is getting more intense as the ISIS terrorists are constantly losing ground after major advances from the Iraqi security forces.

US-led Coalition jets have killed several ISIS leaders in western Mosul, as revealed in a statement from the Iraqi Intelligence on Friday.
 

The statement asserted that US-led Coalition executed airstrikes on ISIS posts upon receiving information from the military intelligence of their locations.
 

The airstrikes killed Abu Maryam al-Hadeidi, leader in charge of ISIS terrorists in Musheirifa, as well as four Russian leaders in al-Seha neighborhood in the right bank of Mosul.
 

These efforts come as part of an offensive launched on 19 of February by the US-backed Iraqi forces supported by Iranian-backed sectarian IMIS Shiite militias to oust ISIS terrorists from Mosul, their last major stronghold in Iraq.

Iraqi Federal Police kill 14 ISIS terrorists in right bank of Mosul

Federal Police forces announced on Friday they killed 14 ISIS terrorists, destroyed eight booby-trapped vehicles and dismantled 55 IEDs at al-Thawra neighborhood in the right bank of Mosul.
 

In a statement, the Federal police said that they killed an ISIS leader in charge of IEDs.

The statement identified the killed militant as  Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Russi and threes of his Asian companions at al-Zanjili in Mosul.
 

These efforts are part of an offensive launched on 19^th of February by US-backed Iraqi forces supported by Iranian-backed Sectarian IMIS Shiite militias to oust ISIS terrorists from Mosul, their last major stronghold in Iraq.

Daesh moves to "new capital"

US military sources said that the organization of Daedash moved his "capital" from the city of Raqqa to the province of Deir al-Zour near the Iraqi border, under the impact of air strikes to the coalition and international forces supported by the United States.

 

Fox News quoted military officials as saying that the group had been based in Deir al-Zour, 90 km south of Raqqa.

 

The US Drones have noted hundreds of leaders in Daqash who have been leaving Raqqa during the past two months.

 

The US Central Command has announced the killing of the movement's leader Abdul Rahman al-Uzbek, a middle-ranking, in an operation carried out in the city of Mayadim in the countryside of Deir al-Zour.

 

This comes as a decisive battle is nearing the restoration of al-Raqqa, "the capital of the organization in Syria," but according to military officials, there are no leaders there.

 

Reports have reported the transfer of the organization to the families of its leaders from the city of Al-Raqqa and the direction of the city of Albuqmal and Deir al-Zor and areas close to the Iraqi border as a result of heavy air strikes of the coalition aircraft and international collapses of successive organization in several areas, including rural Reqqa.
