[Adam Montana] US troops are leaving and we are handing bases over to IRaq, which should be a fully sovereign country very soon

[Adam Montana] let that sink in, because it's the key to this whole investment

[Adam Montana] I know many of us wanted it to be over already, and unfortunately it's not - but as always, we remain patient and keep a cool head about our investment

[Adam Montana] I have a bit of opinion to inject this week, but I am going to do so by answering the questions that were posted

[Adam Montana] one quick note - in the future, please leave a link to the article if you want me to comment on it. I had to delete a few questions that weren't clear enough

[Adam Montana] it might seem complicated if you get too wrapped up in all the gurus chats and articles and news and calls and everything else... but this is a really simple question

[Adam Montana] it comes down to the BASICS of why most of us are invested in Iraq

[Adam Montana] the most basic reason is because Iraq has a TON of OIL and NATURAL GAS, which makes them VALUABLE

[Adam Montana] the HCL needs to be resolved in order for Iraq to have full control of that VALUE and function as a business

[Adam Montana] once that VALUE is under the full control of Iraq, they can raise the value of their currency and back it up with their reserves

[Adam Montana] until they have full control, they are basically a car with no gas tank. Looks good on paper, but it isn't driving anywhere

[Adam Montana] once you add the gas tank, this sucker is ready to roll.

[Adam Montana] It is REALLY that simple. Once the HCL is resolved, Iraq will have the means to back a stronger currency

[Adam Montana] until that happens, they do not have the means to back it

[Adam Montana] therefore it is next to impossible to see a change in rate before the HCL is resolved

[kcw] SR71_Blackbird ADAM...thanks for all the effort and information...I'm sure it's a STRETCH...September/October, we were 'as close as we'll ever get'...according to 'those who know or were supposed to know' and when you look at it, it really seems that way. Lately, we really don't see a lot of 'rate and date' anymore but a lot of extraneous 'stuff' about the region but nothing specific to the RV...all this ancilliary crap. In your opinion, REALLY, where are we in this investment...this month, this year, next year...and we will not hold it against you. At least, this would be an informed opinion. THANKS AGAIN!! .

[Adam Montana] I can't paste the link, but the title is "Parliamentary financial sources expect (equal) dinar and the dollar in two years)

[Adam Montana] I am of the opinion that very soon, immediately following the resolution of the HCL or a complete removal of Chapter 7

[Adam Montana] if you're willing to trust your assets to a coin toss, then by all means - go ahead and pay someone a bunch of money because they said something that made you feel good

[Adam Montana] when they release the lower notes, they will have a specific value assigned to them

[Adam Montana] so most likely trading your 25k's for an equivalent amount of lower denominations won't protect you or allow you to see any additional growth

[Adam Montana] if they RV at 1:1 and require you to turn in your large notes immediately, then that may be a wise move

[Adam Montana] it depends on what you feel the dinar will do in the future

[Adam Montana] if you think it will continue to go up, then yes - you should trade in the larger notes for whatever is released so you are able to hold them

[Adam Montana] if you think it's peaked, then simply cash out

[Adam Montana] but this decision will have to be made based on the actual notes released, the rate of the RV, and any mandatory "turn-in" period

[kcw] Mak63 Hi Adam, when you were writing your thesis on the proposed rate, did you calculate in the Fractional Banking system and the way value is determined from a transaction and how that affects the rate?

[Adam Montana] fractional banking is a complicated subject, but I can simplify the part that matters to us

[Adam Montana] fractional banking is in part the practice of keeping a physical supply on hand in order to meet any potential demand for withdrawal

[Adam Montana] if a bank holds 10,000,000 in it's accounts, it may be required to keep a fraction of that in actual cash, on hand, to cover customer withdrawals

[Adam Montana] how does this apply to us?

[Adam Montana] it really doesn't, because it doesn't matter what the value of the notes are

[Adam Montana] fractional banking works the same if the value is 1170 or 1

[Adam Montana] now, it gets more complicated after that. The CBI may put restrictions on how much physical cash any customer of any bank may take out in Dinar or exchanged Dinar

[Adam Montana] but the value remains the same and you should still have digital access to the funds even if you aren't allowed to pull it all out in cash

[Adam Montana] that barely scratches the surface on fractional banking and the Dinar... to go further into it would require a lot of time

[Adam Montana] but I'll summarize it by saying the rest of my opinion on fractional banking is in OUR FAVOR for this investment

[Adam Montana] if your 25,000 note is worth 25,000USD - then the 100 note will be worth 100.

[Adam Montana] If the old 25,000 is worth 2500 and the new 100 note is worth 100 - then that's what they will be worth

[Adam Montana] there won't be any magic or trickery, they will simply have an assigned value

[Adam Montana] I do believe it will be as simple as possible

Great chat, Adam but imo Iraq will RV before release from Chap VII. Why? Because "O" needs Maliki to honor the backroom deal they made! :D Just my intuition working overtime again.

They will not want to plug what you offer, when they have all of the okiesters hanging on every unsubstantiated word the "gurus" put out under the guise of "Intel". Thanks for all, Adam, Sara, and all who make DV possible. Would wish all of you Merry Christmas, but am hoping I can deliver that message in person, in Belize Dec 25th!

Now he is back to using the $.10 theory again. I check into this site pretty often and I feel like I must be missing something important.

OK Thanks Adam about the Spendthrift trust advice. FYI - That's the big talk thing to do here on the islands. Listened to an hour radio talk show this past weekend from some local investors about the advantages of this trust. Guess we've got pumpers on the islands too!!

I do have a question concerning the " turn in time " , if they impose a window lets say at .10 cents and one month to cash in our 25,000 notes Will they become worthless after that window closes ??? :unsure:

Now he is back to using the $.10 theory again. I check into this site pretty often and I feel like I must be missing something important.

Adam never recanted his .10 cent theory, he simply said he could be wrong. Boy I sure hope he is...lol But based on his findings that's what he came up with.:)
