Speaker announced Osama Najafi and there are 50 important law awaiting approval by the Council of Representatives.

During the meeting, agreement on the provision of the law of the Federal Court and the Supreme Judicial Council to vote in next week, and the law of the Integrity Commission on Monday, and on the law of oil and gas, said Najafi, "The law is very important for the future of Iraq must be received by the consensus of all the blocks," stressing that the law should be a factor to unite people and not to disperse,and called for mature law and development and given great care by the use of experts and holding hearings and panel discussions. and decided to form a committee comprising members of the parliamentary blocs to study and review of the nomination of names to fill the positions of agents and advisors of the Ministry and state institutions, in addition to the formation of another committee including members of the parliamentary blocs monitor and follow-up committee set up by the government to restore balance in the ministries and state institutions.

The meeting agreed to introduce legislation that provincial councils, districts and areas to the first reading next week.

In the meantime, confirmed the source of parliamentary early "morning" that the House of Representatives will vote at today's meeting on the health of organic beauty Shiban Hammadi al-Kilani, Ammar Hassan Abed Ali, in addition to the vote on the rules of procedure of the House of Representatives, and vote on the bill of Supreme Audit, as well as vote on the bill that the Integrity Commission.

I would like to believe this is the case, but this article leaves more questions then answers unfortunately. It speaks of the law of the federal and the supreme court in the next week, the law of the integrity commission on Monday, and the law of oil and gas, but instead of a day for the HCL it talks of discussions. Discussions make more sense with the issues the law faces right now. I would not count on seeing a vote tomorrow, it's just not likely to happen.

The HCL has two different meanings. We call it the Hydro carbon Law, the burning of fossil fuels if you will, cars for the most part. Iraqis, on the other hand call it the H-o-o-k-a-h carbon Law. they don't want to pay for their carbon footprint just because they enjoy hashish and H-o-o-k-a-h bars. Al Gore said that there was a hole in the ozone over Iraq because of the widespread use of hookahs and will speed up global warming. Local H-o-o-k-a-h Bar owners are up in arms about the new tax, saying it will drive their costumers to drink because of the HIGHER prices they will have to charge. cool.gif
