Of course we are not in Iraq.... and we have no way of knowing if banks are closed...none of this may be true and may be just more spin!

Sounds big to me. They just shut down all of the banks to everyone and after a weekend. What if an Iraqi needed money for food, etc. I think they would have told the people before the weekend incase they needed some extra $. Just out of the blue shutting down the whole system. I agree, very strange. 1. Do we have anyone in-country that can verify this news; 2. Based upon the unusual nature of these closures, wonder if Sonny1, "S", "BL", or Adam can shed some light on this; 3. Is this business as usual at this time of the year?; but, 4. I am awfully hopeful that all the banks are closed for the impending possible revalue situation and getting lower denoms ready for the masses! (IMHO)
