Why are people still talking about the Kuwaiti Dinar "RVing"? It never happened. The rate never changed. What happened was people AKA MIlitary, Contractors, Rich Kuwaitis bought the Kuwaiti dinar pennies on the dollar and then when the country got its government back, cashed in. I mean, just look at the Kuwaiti dinar wiki. Look at the history of the kuwaiti dinar. It never revalued. So really Im just wondering why people still believe this?

These are certified, uncirculated bills. I probably could get more, but I came here first since all you guys at dinarvets have been good to me.

Does no one want to quote this because these questions are scary? Because they need to be asked? I want an RV very badly. My parents are in a horrible situation now, as are MANY retiree's who cant work, or cant get jobs because of there age. It looks like Im going to have ot support my parents for the rest of there lives if no RV happens. I dont mind it, I love my folks. But what about me? Im 37, divorced with a child a state away without a job at the moment. How do I do this? I dunno. Im just telling you about my situation, and that indeed I want/need/would love an RV. BUT there are questions to be asked, and not a whole lot of answers. If a new's article out of Iraq says they will LOP then why do people NOT believe it? Because they want an RV? I keep telling my mother it could go either way, but then she sits for hours reading posts about the RV and tells me to make plans. I really have no idea what I will say to her, or how I will get her past the depression of a LOP. Like everyone else I just want to know whats going on.

Im not sure how many times I have to say this. KUWAITS MONEY DID NOT EVER DEVALUE. The kuwaitis "Thought" it would and boots on the ground bought it up at 1000 to 2000 to 1 USD. Then when the "War", aka like 1 day invasion was over they waited a few moments and wallah, the currency was at its value before said invasion. Look at the history of the kuwaiti dinar, it NEVER devalued.

This post times 1000. Sure they could RD on us, ok whatever time goes on, we all are still alive. And yay I may make 2 to 3x what I put in. But a RV COULD happen, Im not saying it will or will not and no dates. But it easily could.

Lets say the total lives lost in Iraq are 12000 soldiers, thats about the number, from a few sites. Now, we pay out those families 250k in insurance/life whatever money, yeah Im being cold but its the truth. We send home a body, a flag, and 250k, sometimes less. Anyway, take that 12000 multiply by MINIMUM 400k - Insurance, training, transportation, equipment etc etc. 4.8 billion dollars right there. NOW, also add in what weve spent just to be there, what we spend to employ iraqi's, what it cost us in the political arena. Now were more on the lines of 10 billion easily. NOW, also add in the what 10 billion "Lost" (AKA Lining these fat, idiotic, dirty, crap eating, dirt sniffing Iraqi politicians pockets) and were near 20 + billion owed to us for there freedom. I lost alot of friends over there. And if our government pays them this money, they might just have a US Led insurgency. Redicilous.

Im embarassed to even read this stuff hahah. I mean this is redicilous.
