There is confusion on what is fact and what is not across the board in Iraq at this point. Information on the news is two sided. Both Allawi and Maliki state they have agreed to the Kurds demands. Maliki is using his media to basically claim a victory and an alliance with the Kurds. Barzani states the Kurds have not made a decision and will not until after the ROUND TABLE MEETING yet Maliki states they have made a deal. Allawi told Barzani the GOI would back slide with Maliki as PM and not for the good of Iraq. The rumors are flying and its anyones guess as to what the truth really is at this time. Until the up coming announcement of the Kurds alliance we may not know what is really fact until then. We will continue to try and sort this out but the bottom line is WE ARE VERY CLOSE. Hang it there as we should have some solid facts on Wednesday.

With the Iraqi Supreme Court bringing the hammer down on the politicians and the looming expiration of key contracts we should finally see some movement in the next few days.
