REMEMBER, no one really  knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... So, take everything with a grain of salt ...  RON 

 

 

Mnt Goat   I am telling you that I know with 1000% certainty we will NOT see the RV until after the Nov 5th voting. In a conversation with my CBI contact on Saturday I was told that if all goes well in the US elections, we can expect to see the preparation gearing to the reinstatement by the start of the project to delete the zeros and the swap out of the larger notes for the smaller denominations.  I was told this is now planned to begin shortly after the voting is over and the winners are announced.  I was told we might have to wait for the inauguration ceremony to conclude to see the reinstatement occur.

Markie...Shabb's has been gone for a long time.  I liked him a lot, but they have different people in charge, who do not think like him.   I agree Iraq is stable, but I don't think the people in charge are going by whatever Shabibi planned on.

There was an  article out today of massive corruption in Iraqi e-banking & a lot of new ways to smuggle money abroad.  Iran continues to steal Iraqi treasures.  Iran is always one step ahead of new Iraqi security measures.   IMHO.

So Iran is the one that is holding up the RV then. And as long as Iran keep stealing, then we won't see RV/ RI.

I do not believe Iraq gives a dam about our elections or our inauguration ceremony one way or another whether Republic or democratic, which is more B/S. They have trouble worrying about their own elections.and their corruption of holding back the RV/RI and keeping the country stable. As far as MarkZ he's always full of B/S They have sesurity & stable and still no RV/RI they don't care what Shabibi wanted to do they have their own plans Shabibi been gone years ago and they doing their thing

I never said Iran was holding up the RV-RI.  I stated corruption is still rampant.

If anyone is holding up the RV-RI process it's the UST.
