REMEMBER, no one really  knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... So, take everything with a grain of salt ...  RON

Frank26 Question: "Will they make a formal announcement in Iraq just prior to letting the RI go?" No. There won't be any announcement.  It's actually going to be snuck up on them. One day the Iraqi citizens will wake up and they'll get a text or ping or whatever and they'll be notified to get your butts into the banks and they will be given what will be given to them...

They still have more work to do before they join. They're not quite there yet.

This is the issue.  Iraq was a WTO member. Iraq owes back dues.  Iraq has a history of not paying it's bills.

I thought Iraq had already been voted in, but was waiting on Iraqi government to RV/RI their currency before they were a full member. With everything going on I don't know if that is right or not! If they are not members now, and must be voted in, then it will be 2026 before another vote from the WTO! I sure hope that is not the case. Like I say there is not anybody that knows what is going on over there! There is just so much scuttle-butt that has come out of there, you don't know what to believe! JMHO! 🤠

Well we have until April 30 for them to post their rate…the it’s roll on 2025
