REMEMBER, no one really  knows what will happen, or when.  They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... So, take everything with a grain of salt ...  RON 

 

 

Frank26   The end of September is the end of a quarter.  April is the beginning of a quarter...will they do it by the end of the quarter?  Let's find out.

 

Pimpy  The future looks promising for Iraq, but it's just that every time we try to get to a good point one thing after another pops up preventing Iraqi people from being prosperous. But I still have faith in Iraq and I still keep their currency and so should you...I believe the Iraqi dinar will go up in increments.  I still believe that today and I will still hold on to my Iraqi dinar because I do think it's a good investment. 

 

Kaperoni    [See Mnt Goat's  keeps talking about Iraq's plan to drop the zeros...Yes there is such a plan, but it is a LOP (Kap's opinion - not everyone's) and not what we want. Only with the success and growth of Iraq's own economy and GDP can the dinar ever go up in value.

Hey frankie. We have already found out every April and September every year for the last 20 years and they just seem to keep talking talking talking and finally..........  Talk isn't cheap for them.

Pimpy has been pretty negative about the IQD and now he believes that it will start to rise.  He cant make his mind up about this.

Iraq is obligate to re-pay back the loan forgivenesses under the Paris Accord.

They must RV.  A LOP is out of the question.

They may do a partial LOP but in the end, there will be a RV.   IMHO.
