I absolutely believe with every fiber of my body that if Maliki had not been such a low life crook and PM, the deletion of the zeros would have happened a long time ago.

no worries B G , it was enough to make ur head spin back then in 2004 Allawi was sworn in as interim prime minister of Iraq then in 2005 al-Jaafari was elected as PM then Maliki came in after that if long timers remember iraq was having bombings daily US military was active in country every sect was fighting for power inside iraq , sadar had a malita army in country crazy out of control time imo usa was trying to set up a western style / type of democracy and that went over like a lead balloon and on and on cheers to anyone that followed along thru the years and kept their sanity  .. we wait

This article gives total credence to the article causing such an uproar. Shabibi wouldn't have asked for the RV if he wasn't prepared to carry it out. He printed that currency through English agency as was Iraq' s standard procedure. Shabibi bought 10 Delarue machines for printing and verifying authenticity  of currency.

The Central Bank decided to adopt some of the features and images to be placed on the new currency after the deletion of zeros .. The agency received a copy of the Central Bank's book, which included cultural and historical landmarks and images to be placed on the currency with the implications of the nearby to the minds of the public And the culture of the Iraqi .. According to the book: The paper currency included a number of monuments and images, the most important, a picture of the bridge of the imams and the significance of the significance of high value if the bridge reaches between the two sides of the Tigris River and on both sides of the observers Imam Musa Kadhim (p) and Abu Hanifa Numan (Raz). The book of the bank entitled to the Directorate Nation for issuing cabinets: that this image allocated to the highest class of the new currency, a category (200) dinars and two hundred dinars on the back of this paper put a picture of the school Mustansiriya in Baghdad ..  wheelman best i remember maliki tried to take control of the cbi twice and failed so he got fake allegations for his arrest while shabibi was out of iraq , he never returned to the country he loved , iraqis should know and always remember how he built the banks reserves thru macroeconomics and wise management ... thanks for all the education you provided with ur vast knowledge of the middle east over the years .....

Probably won't be on the top in the middle east but should be top 3 for sure...but who knows the way EVs are going to take over soon, the battle for power is huge rn hello, Russia one of the biggest oil producers throwing a fit, and been fighting forever in the middle east... This is a turn in power for sure what the future holds no one knows really, gas could turn into gold prices for those who still want to drive ICE vehicles... I dunno just ranting lol

No wonder Malarky is the real culprit and traitor to his own country by working together with Iran to rob Iraq's wealth. Sadly, noone dares to kick him out of country of Iraq forever.

It is even better if someone here can post the pictures of new lower denoms notes : a category of 200 dinars , 100 dinars , 50 dinars , 25 dinars , 10 dinars , 5 dinars to prove that they were really already printed , eventhough they weren't ready to be released them to the publics.

I really like what I read about returning Iraq Dinar to its original value og the 1980's.. Hopefully , the new Governor of cbi can implement and rv the iqd. Again , we can only hope and time will tell.
