The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan commended the initiative launched by the coordination framework to get out of the political crisis.

Aram Jabbari, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, said in a statement that the initiative carries a good political vision and a realistic reading of the Iraqi scene, which is an important step to get out of the political blockage in the country

Today, Wednesday, political analyst Muhammad Al-Silawi considered that the initiative of the new coordination framework to resolve the fundamental crisis and blockage in Iraq is the most prominent since the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, announced the 40-day deadline.

Silawi told "Dijla", "The framework initiative is the most prominent since Al-Sadr announced the 40-day deadline," noting that "the current political situation is faced with 3 scenarios, including Mr. Al-Sadr's going to the opposition."

He added that "there is anticipation for the position of al-Sadr and his allies regarding the coordination framework initiative," noting that "al-Sadr will succeed if he goes to the opposition because he has a mass base."

Political analyst Muhammad al-Silawi believes that "the visit of Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi to Iran may lead to a political transformation," ruling out that the current stage will witness any reform process because it is not prepared for that.

Yesterday, Tuesday, the coordination framework put forward a new initiative to solve the current political crisis and get out of the current closure, which includes naming a prime minister through independent representatives.

Largest Bloc is the goal..

The independent deputy, Basem Khashan, considered, today, Wednesday, that the new coordination framework initiative to resolve the crisis, which included naming a prime minister through independent representatives, is consistent with the vision of the independents to take over the leadership of the stage.

Khashan said in a statement, "The initiative of the framework forces is proceeding according to what we presented about the independence of the independents to lead this stage," noting that "a number of the independents, including myself, made a great effort in order for the independents to obtain this entitlement, without the slightest compromise on the principles that we believe in." with it".

And he added, "More than six months ago, I said that we are the weight of the egg, and that one of the two parties will outweigh the other, and therefore we deserve that the prime minister is one of us," explaining that "we were less than a quarter of the independent representatives, we were able to convince the political parties that we are the weight of the egg and the lifeline." The only solution to the political impasse, and I wish the brothers who chose neutrality to ride the chariot of change led by the independents.”

Khashan considered that "the issue is not easy, and we, the independents, must form a team to begin negotiating the details of forming the government and what it has and what it has."

The coordination framework, on Tuesday, put forward a new initiative to end the political blockage, which included a proposal to submit independent representatives to their candidate for prime minister, with the support of the largest bloc.

Al-Sadr stressed that the largest coalition will vote on their government, including the Sadrist bloc, in agreement with the Sunnis and Kurds of the coalition, and the Sadrist movement will not have a participation in its ministers, provided that this is within a maximum period of 15 days, in order to speed up the end of the suffering of the people.

Shafaq News/ The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called on Wednesday, independent representatives to form the Iraqi government within 15 days after the framework failed to form it.

Al-Sadr said in his tweet, "After consulting with the allies in the Greater Alliance, I say: The current political process has three parties: The first party: The Greatest National Alliance: (The Alliance to Save the Nation), which is the sponsor of the national majority... But because of the Iraqi judiciary's decision to activate the blocking third, it was delayed in forming majority government.

He explained that "the second party is the coordinating framework calling for the consensus government... and we gave it a deadline of forty days, and it failed to form the consensus government."

Al-Sadr pointed out that "the third party is the independent individuals in Parliament. We call on them to form an independent no less than forty of them, away from the overall coordination framework, which took its chance. Their government, including the Sadrist bloc, and in agreement with the Sunnis and Kurds of the coalition...the movement will not have a participation in its ministers...provided that this be within a maximum period of fifteen days...in order to expedite the end of the people's suffering."

He continued, "I also repeat my call to some of those whom we think well of from the coordination framework of the alliance with the Sadrist bloc, hoping from them to give priority to national interests over narrow interests and to get out of the neck of forced political obstruction as they express."

On Tuesday, the coordination framework announced the launch of a nine-point political initiative, accompanied by nine commitments to implement it. The most prominent content of the initiative is to grant the independents the administration of the country, and the renaming of the three presidencies.

Since the Iraqi Council of Representatives held its first sessions on the ninth of last January, headed by President Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, the crisis of naming the largest bloc has emerged that has the exclusive right to choose the prime minister after being assigned by the President of the Republic, who must be elected by the Council, which is What has not been achieved so far.

The coordination framework insists on defining the identity of the largest parliamentary bloc, which must be "Shiite" because the prime minister is entitled to the Shiites, while the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada al-Sadr refuses to engage in an alliance with the framework forces combined and adheres to excluding the leader of the State of Law coalition Nuri al-Maliki and his bloc from any alliance .

On the other hand, there is a dispute between the two poles of Kurdish politics, the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which sees the position of the President of the Republic as a "Kurdish entitlement, not a partisan", while the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan asserts that this position is from its "share", as was the political custom.

The scene became more complicated after al-Sadr announced earlier this month his withdrawal and the Sadrist bloc from negotiations to form a government and choose its president, and threw the ball into the court of the coordination framework and gave him 40 days to complete this task.

Iraq: The forces of the "coordinating framework" adhere to the right of the Shiite component to nominate the prime minister

In a new initiative to break the “political blockage”
Thursday - Shawwal 4, 1443 AH - May 05, 2022 AD, issue number [15864]

Yesterday, the Shiite "coordinating framework" forces presented a new initiative to overcome what has become known as the "political blockage" that has hindered the formation of the government, more than 6 months after the general elections were held last October, and the resulting disruption of timings Constitution relating to the election of the President of the Republic and the Ministers.

Despite the many points mentioned in the text of the initiative, it did not deviate from the context of the previous “failed” initiatives that most of the figures and forces of the framework that adhere to and are basically based on the right of the “Shiite component” to name the prime minister as the most populous, which means forcing a leader. The Sadrist Movement” Muqtada al-Sadr to ally with it, a principle he has rejected for months, preferring to ally with the Sunni “sovereignty” alliance and the Kurdistan Democratic Party within the framework of a national alliance and not my components. It is likely that he will reject the new framework initiative.

With the exception of the proposal that the independent representatives present “a candidate with competence, integrity, acceptability, impartiality and all the required qualifications” which was mentioned in the initiative, the framework forces did not bring anything new; Note that some independent representatives affiliated with the October 2019 movement intersect with most of the framework forces, and accuse some of its factions of being involved in the killing and kidnapping of activists and hostility to the movement’s groups.

Even with throwing the nets to the independents (most of whom belong to the Shiite component) who come from different directions and are not completely united, the initiative kept the Shiite forces controlling the position of the prime minister. Some observers believe that the aim behind this is to embarrass Muqtada al-Sadr and prevent him from forming a government, given that his current won the largest number of parliamentary seats (73 seats), and to hold him responsible for the delay in forming the government, although the framework forces have become known locally as “disruption forces” as they own a third The disabled person who emerged after 4 parliamentary sessions with a fatwa from the Federal Court.

Returning to the new "unblocking" initiative, it called on all parties to sit at the dialogue table and discuss solutions and remedies without preconditions or restrictions.

Speaking about the president's website, the initiative urged "the Kurdish parties to make efforts to reach an understanding and agree on a candidate with these qualities, within the established contexts." At this point, the “framework” force seeks to bring everyone back to the “component embrace” through the agreement of all Kurdish forces on a candidate for the site, an equation that has been popular since 2003, and Muqtada al-Sadr tried to break it in the last session, through his alliance of Sunni and Kurdish forces.

The frameworks renewed “observing the right of the majority (Shiites)” with regard to the position of prime minister, and their initiative stated that “the right of the largest social component must be preserved through the blocs of the larger component allied to form the most numerous bloc, and then agree on the nomination of the next prime minister.”

The fifth paragraph of the initiative expressed the truest expression of the frameworks’ philosophy in maintaining the “quota system” encapsulated by the component right. Where they stressed that “the issue of the three presidencies will be resolved through the understanding of the people of each component among themselves, and everyone deals with the concept of the majority willing to participate, as well as the opposition wishing to monitor, provided that all presidencies go through one path.”

The initiative spoke of “the ruling majority’s pledge to provide a safe cover for the parliamentary opposition, empower it in the House of Representatives, and consolidate its role in monitoring the performance of the government and holding it accountable if it is proven to be negligent, by chairing effective parliamentary committees, and granting oversight bodies to the opposition and independent personalities who did not participate in forming the government.” But it kept the door open for everyone to join the opposition or the government.

The new initiative presented a set of pledges, including "a pledge to review all contracts, loans, and appointments in the day-to-day conduct of business, from the date of dissolving the House of Representatives until the formation of the new government."

As well as “amending the electoral law according to the decision of the Federal Court, and preserving the rights and protection of minorities and preserving their interests, through equal opportunities and freedom of belief, and other articles stipulated in the Iraqi constitution.”

Taking into account the interests of the allies of the “framework” forces from some Kurdish and Sunni forces, the initiative pledged to “regulate the relationship between the federal government in Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government, in a way that guarantees the rights of all and with high transparency, the reconstruction of liberated areas, solving the problems of the displaced, and establishing a fund to support the poorest governorates, According to the official indicators of the Ministry of Planning.

In agreement and identification with Muqtada al-Sadr's demands, the frameworks pledged to reject and prevent attempts at normalization with Israel.

Shafaq News/ An independent parliamentary bloc headed by MP Abdel Hadi Al-Hasnawi announced today, Wednesday, its acceptance of the initiative of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, calling for unifying efforts to come up with an independent political formation.

The "Independent Iraq" parliamentary bloc said, in a statement received by Shafak News Agency, that it "announces acceptance of the initiative of Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr to invite independent representatives to form an independent national government that expresses the aspirations of the citizen and seeks to improve services and reconstruction of the country," explaining that its acceptance of al-Sadr's initiative comes "out of faith." With national responsibility and to give priority to the public interest and to get out of the crisis of political blockage and to respect the constitutional terms.”

The bloc called on "independent deputies, whether from the Independent Iraq Alliance or individual independents, to unite efforts and speak out to form an independent and meaningful political formation capable of developing a solution to the current crisis that the country is going through."

It also called on all political forces to "support the national initiative, renounce differences, and not influence independent representatives, whether by threats or threats, and respect the will of the voters, away from partisan and factional interests, because the citizen has suffered a lot as a result of the political blockage and the delay in forming the government, which clearly negatively impacted the rights of the citizen and services." and country building.

Shafaq News/ The Wisdom Movement led by Ammar al-Hakim saw on Thursday that the coordination framework "cloned" its leader's initiative to get out of the blockage in the political process and the delay in the formation of the federal government, despite the passage of several months since the early legislative elections in the country.

The leader in the movement, Rahim Al-Aboudi, told Shafak News Agency, "Al-Hakim put forward an initiative that preceded the initiatives and had a clear mechanism, and we believe that the coordination framework received all of them," expressing his opinion that "the first nine points of the framework initiative are found in a text in Al-Hakim's initiative, except for some verbal change. and linguist."

He added that "the framework reproduced Al-Hakim's initiative and adopted it as a road map according to their statements," noting that "the political dialogue has become a breaking of the will, an undeclared political war, and a coup against the dialogue, and that the period given by the political parties is far from the constitution."

And Al-Aboudi added, by saying that "the tripartite alliance, since the start of the dialogues to form the government, considers itself the order of the political process, and this is not true," warning that "the imposition of political will and the marginalization of others does not build a state and does not lead to the formation of the new government."

After several political initiatives to end the division failed, and the distance between the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada al-Sadr, who led the recent elections, and the forces of the coordination framework, an initiative emerged that was put forward by the head of the Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, on the eighth of last April, to get out of the crisis that disrupted constitutional entitlements.

In his initiative to resolve intractable crises that prevent a parliamentary session from holding to vote on the President of the Republic and then form a new government, Al-Hakim called on the political forces to sit at the dialogue table, discuss solutions and remedies without preconditions or restrictions, and nominate the major parliamentary bloc that has the right to nominate a prime minister. The upcoming three presidencies, as stipulated in the constitution, resolved the issue of the three presidencies through understandings.

Al-Hakim’s initiative also included the demand for “the distribution of roles, so whoever wishes to participate in the government joins the majority team and commits to supporting the government in the agreed program and announces full responsibility for his participation and decision, and whoever does not wish to participate takes the House of Representatives as a starting point for his constructive opposition,” as he put it. .

He called on what he described as "majority forces" to "pledge to provide a safe cover for the opposition," noting that the opposition should not "disrupt parliament sessions and actively attend in it and allow the majority to complete the constitutional dues."

On Wednesday, the fourth of May, the coordination framework announced the launch of a nine-point political initiative, accompanied by nine commitments to be implemented, similar in some terms to the previous Al-Hakim initiative.

It is noteworthy that the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, launched two initiatives to form the federal government, one of which announced its failure, which he granted to the coordination framework at the beginning of last April, and the other he launched to independent deputies yesterday, Wednesday, giving them 15 days to carry out the task of forming the government in cooperation with the allies in the Triple Alliance (rescuing Watan) from the Kurds and Sunnis without representing the Sadrist bloc as ministers.

The dispute intensified between the two Shiite poles represented by the Sadrist movement, which won the highest votes in the elections that took place last year, and the coordination framework that includes blocs that expressed their rejection of the election results.

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, insists on forming a majority government that seeks to exclude the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, who served as prime minister for two terms.

On the tenth of last October, Iraq held early legislative elections to get out of a political crisis that swept the country after large demonstrations in the central and southern regions in 2019 in protest against the widespread unemployment in society, the spread of financial and administrative corruption in government departments and institutions, and the deteriorating reality The service and the livelihood, which prompted the former prime minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, to resign under popular pressure.

As soon as the preliminary results of the elections were announced, the voices of political forces and actors rose in their rejection of losing many seats, accusing them of major fraud in the ballot, which was denied by the executive and judicial authorities, at a time when the United Nations and international organizations praised the integrity of the electoral process.

Shafaq News/ Observers of the Iraqi political affairs have seen that the initiatives submitted by the parties to the political conflict do not carry solutions that end the blockage in political life since the announcement of the final results of the legislative elections that were held on October 10, 2021.

The comprehensive coordinating framework of the Shiite forces, and the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, had each put forward an initiative to resolve the blockage, as the framework initiative consisted of nine points, and was accompanied by nine commitments, which some observers saw as similar in some terms to previous initiatives put forward by leaders in the framework, including Ammar Al-Hakim, while Al-Sadr’s initiative was represented in calling on independent representatives to form an independent bloc to form the government away from the coordination framework, after a forty-day deadline granted to the framework in order to form the government in isolation from his current.

With the end of the deadline comes a new failure in the attempts of the framework or the movement to find an understanding with the other forces in order to set a new date for holding a parliament session, dedicated to electing a new president of the republic, and completing the constitutional entitlements represented by forming a new government.

 pressure balance

The head of the Center for Political Thinking, Ihsan Al-Shammari, considered that the two initiatives represent a balance of pressure between the framework and Sadr. At a time when the framework pushed an initiative whose goal was to cordon off any reaction from al-Sadr, after the end of the forty-day deadline set by the latter, it was met by a quick initiative by al-Sadr to respond to framework, but directed at independents in particular.

Al-Shammari indicated, during his speech to Shafaq News Agency, that "Al-Sadr did not direct this initiative to the framework, except in a small part of it," adding, "We are facing many initiatives, but without them being accepted by all parties to the crisis, not only the Shiite political forces." Even the Kurdish one, who also suffers from a closedness among them."

The political observer pointed out that "the initiatives and requirements will not produce solutions, given that the focus is now on the winner and the loser, as well as the conflict between leaders, and therefore it is difficult to accept initiatives that guarantee requirements."

 dissolution of parliament

He believed that "to get out of the political blockage, is to go to the dissolution of Parliament, because it is by all standards and criteria unproductive, as six months have passed and the political class has been unable to manage the country or find a way out of the political crisis, and therefore this chapter of the political process must be ended."

Al-Shammari added, "Even if there is a way out, it will be in accordance with the consensus and interests between the political forces, and therefore this political map (initiatives) will not be productive for any solutions, even if it is to go with the majority in the end, you will not be able to work in the presence of political forces." hinder any progress.

He noted that "the ideal solution is to dissolve parliament and then adopt a new election law that will be reinforced by broad participation, in addition to not electing these political parties. Otherwise, crises will continue whenever that political class is present in the source of decision and governance."

 Compatibility option

For his part, the head of the Yarmouk Center for Studies and Strategic Planning, Ammar Al-Azzawi told Shafaq News, that unlike the consensus on forming the government, the blockage will not end, explaining that "the initiatives put forward by the competing Shiite forces are an attempt to get out of the political blockage by relying on independents and considering them the weight of the egg that I want." It has a pivotal role, but in the end, there is no solution without reaching a consensus between the two main parties by sitting at one dialogue table to reach a unified vision that ends the closure and the public interest prevails over partisan interests.

Duplicate initiatives

On the other hand, a political analyst close to the Sadrist movement, Manaf al-Moussawi, confirmed that "the coordination framework initiative (repeated) did not carry proposals for new solutions, but rather came to get rid of the great embarrassment after its inability to provide anything after the deadline set by Muqtada al-Sadr for them."

Al-Moussawi explained, during his speech to Shafaq News Agency, that "the leader of the Sadrist movement, did not present a new initiative, but rather put forward a tweet that included the features of a road map and could not be classified within the category of initiatives and through which independent representatives were given the opportunity to form the bloc and ally with the most numerous bloc (the Alliance to Save the Nation). and government formation.

He pointed out that "Al-Sadr, for the second time, is proving to everyone that he is not interested in obtaining spoils or gains as much as he is interested in implementing the Sadrist movement's project in shifting from consensual governments to the majority, and it is an opportunity given to the independents and it is assumed that they should not be neglected, and if they fail to do so, the Sadr He stressed that the door is still open for political forces in harmony with the current project.

Report: Alsumaria News

Between the initiative of the coordination framework and the tweet of the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada al-Sadr, the spotlight was shed on the independent blocs and MPs, as they have become the “egg-egg” and the concentration of large blocs on the way to forming the largest bloc and ending the state of political blockage, while opinions differed about the ability of these bets to achieve the goal. The goal is to reach the end of the tunnel in which the political forces entered.

While a leader in the State of Law considered the coordination framework initiative as broader and stronger than the tweet of the leader of the Sadrist movement, stressing that the road is still long to reach decisive results, while a political researcher saw that betting on the independents paper does not provide sufficient guarantees to achieve a quorum of two-thirds in The voting session on the President of the Republic, suggesting that the Al-Kazemi government will remain for a longer period as a result of the political parties’ adherence to their positions and the failure to make concessions to the other party.

The leader in the State of Law coalition, Jassem Muhammad Jaafar al-Bayati, confirmed that the road is still long and somewhat blocked, while noting that the coordination framework initiative is broader, stronger and more practical than the tweet of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr.

Al-Bayati said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "The coordination framework initiative, according to our personal vision, is broader than the tweet of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, and it opens files of support for independents, whether they take the opposition or want to participate in the government, they will have a candidate in the prime minister," noting that "for the component The Kurdish framework has defined the features of a mechanism for resolving the problematic between the region and the center, and in his initiative he gave the Sunni component the opportunity to reconstruct the areas liberated from ISIS terrorism.

Al-Bayati added, "As for the vulnerable Shiite areas, it gave them a reconstruction mechanism, in addition to granting a clear presence to minorities in the government," explaining that "the framework initiative in its nine clauses and the nine as commitments included many positive points such as appointments and government contracts and a review of the law elections and giving the components an opportunity to have a presence.”

He continued, "The framework initiative is broader, stronger and more practical than al-Sadr's tweet, which we do not know if it is for him alone or in agreement with the rest of the parties to the tripartite alliance," noting that "with the framework initiative and a reaction represented by al-Sadr's tweet, he will not be given the wide opportunity for the framework initiative to be It is successful and opens the way to solving problems.
And he added, "We believe that the solution is through the round table adopted by the framework in its first item, that everyone gather and everyone who wants to participate in the government sits and takes from the government within the number of its representatives in Parliament, and that the bloc be the largest of the Shiite component, and that the independents participate according to their desire, and each group is It has a candidate to be discussed and the most appropriate choice will be made.”

Al-Bayati stressed, "The road until now is still long and suffers from certain obstacles, and the coming days may witness a new movement that brings everyone together and open the way to sit at one dialogue table for the meeting of the largest bloc, and then move to the other components."

The observer for political affairs, Ali Al-Jawadi, stressed that betting on the independents paper does not provide sufficient guarantees to achieve a quorum of two-thirds in the voting session on the President of the Republic, suggesting that the Al-Kazemi government will remain for a longer period as a result of the political parties’ adherence to their positions and the failure to make concessions to the other party.

Al-Jawadi said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "The coordination framework and the Sadrist bloc have become fully convinced and aware that the formation of the next government by one of them away from the other has become a dead end," noting that "the option of resorting to independents is a good option and a good political maneuver, but it is At the same time, there are no guarantees that the independents will complete the required number for the session to choose the president of the republic, which requires two-thirds of the members of Parliament.

Al-Jawadi added, "The challenge and the choices that the independent representatives put in place, we believe are big and difficult choices. There are no guarantees that they will complete the quorum for the next session, and the selection of the prime minister by them is a challenge beyond their capabilities," noting that "

Shafaq News/ The Alliance of Azm and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan supported the initiative launched by the coordination framework, noting that it aims to break the deadlock and the political impasse.

The two sides mentioned in a joint statement received by Shafak News Agency; "We support and support what was stated in the terms of the coordination framework initiative, which aims to break the stalemate and cross the current political impasse, which has taken a long time and has had a direct impact on the citizen and the country."

The statement stressed "the importance of focusing in dealing with the initiative to form the government on the right of the rest of the people's components regarding the position of the bloc's most acceptable and rejected candidate, based on compelling objective reasons, in addition to the importance of stabilizing the rights of the governorates affected by the war on terrorism and addressing the problem of weapons outside the scope of the law." The centrality of the decision of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the return of the displaced, and the handling of all outstanding constitutional problems between the federal government and the Kurdistan Region, according to the reference of the constitution.

The statement continued, "We also stress the importance of proceeding with the completion of the constitutional entitlements and the consequent comprehensive national entitlements, beginning with the election of the President of the Republic, which is considered a merit of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, forming the government, approving the budget and proceeding with the necessary legislation."

Tomorrow they will meet.. Independents: It is difficult to form a parliamentary bloc of 40 deputies

 2022-05-07 14:08

Shafaq News/ A group of independent deputies will hold a special parliamentary meeting tomorrow, Sunday, to discuss the initiatives put forward by the two sides of the Shiite conflict, the coordination framework and the Sadrist bloc, to determine their compass, which in turn will determine their subsequent steps, accompanied by some demands that will achieve the desired change in the overall political process .

Independent MP Adnan Al-Jabri told Shafak News Agency, "Most of the independent representatives will hold a meeting tomorrow to deliberate among themselves on the last two initiatives that were put forward by the Coordination Framework Forces and Muqtada al-Sadr."

He pointed out that "most of the independent representatives tend to go towards the opposition, while others believe that confronting the political scene and forming an independent national government that meets the aspirations of the street, but according to demands that may not appeal to the owners of the initiative."

He added, "We seek a comprehensive reform of all presidencies, including the parliament, along with the withdrawal of presidential candidates, and otherwise any reform will be partial, we will not go with it," expressing his hope that "tomorrow's meeting will discuss all the details and proposals for solutions to get out of the political closure."

Al-Jabri added, "The independents must take responsibility by coming up with a working paper or an initiative that is presented to all political forces and blocs, which we hope will resolve the political crisis," adding that "the upcoming meeting will inevitably come out with a set of recommendations that will be announced later."

He stressed that "it is not easy to gather the independents and unify their visions in their approach, given that each of them has his own opinion or position, noting that some deputies have previously defined their positions as having attended the election sessions for the President of the Republic with an incomplete quorum, and their total does not exceed 25 deputies, nine from the extension movement , and like them from the new generation, four independents, and two from the Tasmeem movement.”

He continued, "In the sense that the other independents, who number more than 17 deputies, are the ones who support comprehensive change and correcting the course of the political process as a whole, not just the cabinet. They are also looking and wanting to limit the scope of the powers of the Prime Minister, who will be tasked with forming the government and choosing his ministry according to specific criteria."

Al-Jabri pointed out that "the demands to correct the course of the comprehensive political process are supported by some of the deputies of the Independent Iraq Alliance and the radiance of Kanon, as well as some independents and others."

He pointed out that "realizing the demand of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, according to his recent initiative to form a parliamentary bloc of independents of no less than 40 deputies, is difficult and difficult."

The independent MP, Hassan Al-Khafaji, revealed to Shafak News Agency earlier about a meeting that the independent representatives will hold to discuss the initiatives of the coordination framework and the Sadrist movement and to come up with a solution to end the political blockage.

He added, "The parliamentary meeting will discuss the paragraphs of the proposed initiatives, using the experiences of some advisors, and we will inevitably come up with outputs that may contribute to determining our next destination, whether to go with the initiative of the leader of the Sadrist movement or with the coordination framework initiative."

Al-Khafaji pointed out that "after analyzing the two initiatives, including the common points or commonalities between the two initiatives."

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, had put forward earlier today an initiative calling on independent parliamentarians to form an independent bloc to form the government away from the coordination framework.

It is noteworthy that the coordination framework put forward last week an initiative that included some requirements for entering into new alliances to form a government.

Can’t figure out Al-Sadr end game.
He gave the Al-Maliki Iranian bunch 40 days to form a government and now gives the independents two weeks to form the government.
He knows better than anyone their not capable of forming the government, so what is his plan after these two weeks.
He surely has to have been talking to someone about this mess, maybe the federal courts have given him some options. I said nothing would happen when he gave Al-Maliki and his cronies 40 days to do something.
I guess we’ll have to wait another two weeks to find out his game plan….

Shafaq News/ The leader of the Wisdom Movement, Rahim al-Aboudi, criticized on Sunday the strategy of the Sadrist movement led by Muqtada al-Sadr, which it is currently using, noting that the movement is working to "close the doors of dialogue to maintain the current government."

Al-Aboudi told Shafaq News Agency, "There is a strategy used by the Sadrist movement, currently aimed at maintaining the government of Mustafa Al-Kazemi, by closing all doors of dialogue and negotiation with the coordination framework."

He pointed out that "the Sadrist movement wants to ensure that it remains in control of the decision-making process during the current and future period."

And Al-Aboudi indicated that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi worked to provide a lot to the Sadrist movement by giving them some important positions in the state, with the aim of obtaining a second term with the support of the Sadrist bloc, and for this the Sadrist movement's strategy is to acquire the political decision in all its aspects, whether governmental or parliamentary." .
