Planning is discussing with a high international delegation to grant loans in accordance with the priorities of Iraqis

Recommended Posts

“In cooperation with the Central Bank of Iraq, the Central Bureau of Statistics is seeking to implement the survey of financial transfer and banking facilities in Iraq.”

“The results of this survey contribute to improving the situation of the banking sector and its development in Iraq, which will provide data on revenues, expenditures and fixed assets that contribute to the calculation of gross domestic product and the formation of capital for banking and transfer activities.”

“The implementation of this survey comes as a result of the spread of this profession, which is due to the private sector taking the foreign and internal transfers, after being confined to the Central Bank of Iraq”

Another step in the right direction

The CBI needs to know this data before going international.

Go revenues

Go expenditures

Go fixed assets

Go GDP

Private Sector Board

Friday 21 June 2019 54

Private Sector Board

Thamer Hymes
Preparations are now under way for the establishment of a private sector management council in Iraq, according to the recently announced Minister of Planning. The time has come for the public sector to rest from working decades later to undertake policy-making, development and investment maps, In his vision published in the "morning" on 15/6/2005,
2019.
In practice, the public sector is now dominated by its legal, philosophical and political tools through oil. This is the basic problem and the first step is opened. Then the picture becomes clear, as no one has value as long as hegemony is difficult to solve.
The economically and economically dependent sector is the productive private sector, which has been destroyed by the granting of open import licenses. This led the countries to decide what they export to us according to their plans and not based on the challenges of Iraqi production or the needs of the country and its economic feasibility.
We have the main intersection between consumption and its external trade machinery, which lacks an equal relationship with the agricultural or industrial sector, but is a relationship that competes relentlessly. The date importer is not pleased to increase production in our country. , And so the rest in the protected industry, so imports must be scaled down by opening documentary credits with real import licenses with local product manufacturing from food processing plants.
In order to ensure this practical integration between the authority of the decision and the relevant parties, a parliamentary leverage is needed to represent the traditional economy of the industrial and agricultural sectors. This means that we have full faith in the transition to economic freedom and the policy of the open door and the depletion of oil revenues and the influx of foreign resources. The individual is reassuring and stable.
The Council, which is to be established in this case, will enter the crisis, where the incubator environment is not yet ready in all its aspects, but Labas is in the initial developmental and legal steps in this direction, that is after the identification of priorities and obstacles and obstacles to become an overburden or office of theorization.
A number of specialists believe that it is a correct step in the right direction, but that several obstacles should be overcome, first of which is the continuous provision of electrical power to the laboratories, and then to provide a feasibility study on imported materials that can be produced locally, such as food industries, And quality control, and thus we have prepared the requirements of this Council to take its role in the economic process.

Higher Council for the Private Sector

Saturday 27 July 2019 202

Higher Council for the Private Sector

Yasser Al Metwally

While I wondered in the previous column of what represents the private sector in the government partnership in the meantime there is a remarkable movement to form a higher council for the private sector led by the Ministry of Planning transparently high-level for the first time in the history of Iraq.
My question coincided with the government's intentions to form the hoped-for council in order to allow for effective participation in the decisions and legislation's, which is consistent with the economic approach approved by the Constitution.
What is the challenge of forming this Council?
It is true that the Ministry of Planning is taking careful and accurate steps in forming the Council through its adoption of criteria and conditions that require the candidate to be nominated for membership of the Council and defined weights for each criterion, points for each qualification and those who receive the highest weights.
The Ministry of Planning did well to keep the doors of nominations open indefinitely in order to exhaust all requests. More importantly, it asked the organizations to present their views and proposals on the evaluation.
And weights.
What is the most important advantage to be provided by the candidate?
Here lies the challenge because the need to establish a system of the Council and determine the owners by neutral experts to have a relationship with the Council and its membership first, and then be founded on the nomination or membership of the Council is not for the purpose of integrity, but must be skilled and the ability to represent the private sector for the success of the Council To contribute to the achievement of an effective partnership between the government and the private sector in decision-making and legislation aimed at achieving the required economic development.
The difference in weights and points will clash with the reality of heterogeneous organizations. The reality requires self-denial, abandonment and concession of competencies and expertise that have the ability to represent the private sector. This requires that there be two institutions in the council namely the institution of legislation and the joint investment institution in light of the partnership classification mentioned in the previous column .
There is another challenge that complicates the scene regarding the choice of 100 personalities of the Council, ie, one-third of the parliament. This will lead to the difficulty of agreeing on the permanent legislation before it is approved, hindering and delaying its implementation.
Follow it.
It is a difficult task facing the Ministry of Planning because the competition is clear on the faces, and we hope to choose the most suitable to fill these positions, finally, the knowledge and experience in the private sector and the successes achieved by the candidate is the most important criterion in his representation in the Council.
