The ministerial economic affairs committee headed by Minister of Planning Salman Jumaili, on Tuesday, the Rafidain Bank to contract with a competent company to implement the comprehensive banking system.

He added that "the Committee commissioned the Committee on Economic Affairs Ministerial on the Rafidain Bank to contract with a specialized company to implement the comprehensive banking system." 
The statement pointed out that "the contract with specialized companies will apply to the Rasheed Bank and the rest of the government banks, with the aim of improving the government banking sector by reducing the excess rings and improving the level of banking services provided to customers through the completion of all joints of the work."
The statement quoted the director general of Rafidain Bank Khuloud al-Asadi, saying during the meeting that "the cost of the implementation of the comprehensive banking system of Rafidain Bank amounts to 16 million dollars and the completion of 700 days expected to complete the project in the first half of next year 2019," asserting that " The regime will be distinct and fit for Mesopotamia. "

The only thing I'm excited about is that these articles might be about the completion of the privatization of the State Owned Banks Rafadain and Al Rashid!  Alak said months ago the privatization of these banks was about 90% done.  The IMF, has working with Iraq for years to get this done and hopefully now we have a time line which will be the first half of 2019!
